Why do we not have SEGA giving us Phantasy Star Episode 1 and 2 HD reboot with new quests and weapons plus gameplay mechanics? Fans would go wild. Seriously weird.
I'm pretty disappointed they left the floating icons over enemies, it's a weird relic from a time when they didn't have dual analog aiming. Now it's just unnecessary.

It's building up; Other M put the franchise in a ditch and Prime 4 will be the game to finally pull it all the way out. It also helps that so many other sci-fi space adventure franchises are down the drain right now; Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Doctor Who, and many others are in such bad shape that it gives Metroid a chance to step up above them all.

This will leave us with an underwhelming Switch2 version with some higher resolution and frame rate and leaving the consumer to wonder why they would need to invest in a new system.
It looks like Retro has killed it again. Can’t wait to see what games are like in a decade when AI fires out the bulk of the work on them. We’re gonna get games in months instead of years, massive selection to choose from and rock bottom competitive prices as new studios pop up like weeds.
They are a gaming journalist company and they have the right to do this..if you don't like it, go to a place that you like, no one is forcing you to listen.
Mercury steam probably already working on the sequel… Samus Returns was released in 2017 and Dread 2021, so about 4 years, we already are at almost 3 years since Dread released and it will probably be a cross gen title! They might not be working on a Metroid 6 though, maybe a Super Metroid or Metroid Fusion remake, who knows but still a high possibility, people don’t want to wait another 19 years before the next entry in the timeline!

It's not uncommon to examine how a game is running from a trailer. You can still examine graphics, lighting, frame stutters etc.
