The fact that oatchi doesn't get crushed by 5 purple pikmin jumping on his back is impressive to me
I mean he’s capable of running around when your character and however many Pikmin you have in your squad climb onto him so I guess 5 shouldn’t be much of a challenge

Another staple of Japanese culture is those morning exercises and I love it.
It would have been amusing to see them do it in the air, but having them land and do it is pretty amusing, too.
Also, if your character leans in and looks at them, a few of them will lean in and do the same.
It's one of the more amusing/cute details showing that the Pikmin in some ways are actually mirroring you.

I'm of the head canon that the Purple Pikmin are able to control their density somehow, considering that the player can throw them in a perfect (albeit lower) arc until the Purples slam into the ground half way through it seemingly on their own accord.
