Amber was actually originally a classically trained soprano. She wanted to sing opera but somehow became a belter when Glee started. And she kinda stayed one but she sometimes sings a little bit of classical every now and then.
I wholeheartedly agree with your take on Mercedes/Amber being a better vocalist overall than Rachel/Lea. Amber is a beast in every way vocally, however, I'm gonna have to disagree with your take on Santana/Naya being better than Rachel/Lea.. Santana was great and had her moments but Rachel was a beast herself, and no one could touch her when she was in her Broadway bag. Santana was a better performer/dancer and had a lot of sexual presence, but vocally it was always Mercedes and Rachel. But i love your reactions! My top 10 glee vocalists are 1. Mercedes 2. Rachel 3. Ryan was trying to do a revival of glee with Lea. But that's such an awful idea. If they want to mess with glee they should do a remake, with a whole new cast. Cory and Naya were the soul of Glee. Lea was amazing, don't get me wrong, but she alone isn't enough to make a show work by herself.

I’ve watched this show idk how many times but I do know is that I absolutely agree I feel like they really shouldn’t have made Rachael seem like she was #1 bc I do think it had to with privileged but I also think that Rachael was actually the only one that knew what she wanted to do and would’ve done at nothing to get her dream so I would say she had most motivation than Mercedes and Santana for a while though. Plus Rachael knew Mercedes was better than her she said so herself and S03 was Mercedes and Santana’s season💙. And I’m definitely putting Unique in there as well bc oouuu chilllee Unique can sing and also should’ve give them more credit for solos. I think Marley would’ve also been better too if they really didn’t focus on the drama so much and the same thing with Jake his fine ass. Also Kurt…even he can a little annoying sometimes in certain episodes but as Santana said” a more breather, and more feminine Quinn Febray”😂. But something about his is interesting like the certain songs that he did it was truly amazing and then his voice is so smooth and I can feel the emotion from him and I always wasn’t sure who was better Kurt or Rachael bc they were literally in the same field and tbh I feel like if Kurt didn’t purposely mess up the high F he wouldn’t win that diva off, but I’ll shut up now.
