Can you show me how to remove the fuel injector? There is a fuel shaft run through the throttle body prevent me from removing the fuel injector. Thanks in advance
@baophongnguyen6967 just pull on the fuel shaft tube hard and it will pop out. the problem is the O-ring is stuck and it will probably get destroyed when you pull it apart for the first time so make sure you have extra O-rings available to replace the ones that will break
@baophongnguyen6967 just wait you have even more fun when it comes time to putting it back together for the first time. it is going to cause you to create a lot of new cuss words and throw a lot of wrenches across the garage getting it back together properly without leaking
I just bought a 2007 M50 today. FI is on and it sounds like the front cylinder isn't firing. I'm hoping to god it's the same issue. It will stall while in idle....
So just to be clear it was clogged injectors and after doing all this it got clogged again and that's because there was rust in the tank so I had to redo the entire job plus pull the fuel tank assembly out clean the entire interior of the tank dry it out and then vacuum all the rust flakes out then I had to clean and replace the pump filter inside the tank so that it wouldn't suck up any more crap and put it into the fuel injection system. I ended up having to do this exact job twice except on the second time I did it like I said I pulled the fuel pump out of the gas tank and then cleaned the entire tank so I wouldn't have to deal with this again and replaced the fuel pump filter.
2 months now it's been running perfect ever since. I caution you have a bunch of O-rings on hand the moment you take the fuel system apart every single o-ring is going to disintegrate in your hands and need to be replaced
Yeah I might drill the pipes I don't think I'm going to actually swap over to any aftermarket pipes I noticed a lot of people that do that end up with very serious problems
@@TylorAcosta the problem with fuel injection is that it's sensor operated which means there has to be enough heat in the pipes for the O2 sensors to read what is happening and send the proper data needed to the computer to distribute fuel levels. If you don't have the proper numbers coming in to the computer because you have open pipes and no baffles then the computer has to be retuned for the new setup otherwise the bike will run like crap in a very short period of time
@@TylorAcosta whenever you put open pipes on a bike if it's carbureted then you have to change the jet size and the fuel are ratio mixture it's actually easier to do it on carbs than it is to do it on a computer with O2 sensors.

Dude paid 5k for my 2006 2 months ago 😢
Sometimes we find good deals on bikes and sometimes we don't but it doesn't make the fun you have riding it any less amazing
@@IFixShet there currently a 2019 version in my city on offerup for 2500, makes me mad lol
Love mine. I got the m109r.
Haven't had a chance to run one of those if I get the opportunity I'll have to give it a go
FI means Fault Indicated not Fuel Injection
I always call it fuel injector light because 90% of the time it ends up being fuel injection issues 😂
