I drive my 20 year old #Ferrari #360 to the #Sahara desert in #Morocco.
This 2,000 mile adventure is something I have wanted to do for a long time and it lived up to every expectation I had for it.

What an epic adventure! Those are memories to keep forever, exactly what the car was built for
So cool when shmee enters the chat!!
@@ryanfried8393 he should drive even further and hook up with Noraly from Itchy Boots! Ok, that's maybe a bit silly.
@@timhouston1638 I'm following her channel too btw.
Hey @Shmee150, how about taking the AMG GT Black Series to Africa to its 4th continent???
How I wish you would come to Morocco🇲🇦 with one of your car❤️
A younger driver, in a newer Ferrari, following in the footsteps of the great Harry Metcalfe. I'm all for it!
All the best for your trip!! There was that part at the hotel where harry fixed the car while drinking a cuppa tea.
Such a cool trip. Love your videos
Agreed. And to some extent like Harry, Sam gives us great travel scenes and tells us like it is as opposed to sensationalizing every car experience.
BTW, I'd far rather have this Ferrari than a garage queen that barely runs.
You can hardly move in the Sahara for Ferraris. 😆
Weirdo
Just ripping off Harry who ripped off someone else. Not original at all. You spent 20k...on it....what a shit car/ poor engineering.
So happy that you credited Harry Metcalfe as part of your inspiration for this. Never doubted your integrity but there are many who would not have done so. Appreciate your content as do I Harrys’. Keep up the good work, you are one of my favourites.
Harry's.
@@borjastick Harries.
Kristian, get out of his arse m8. Brown nose!
I started watching this video just to find out if he credited Harry, thinking "If he pretends this is his idea, I will unsub right now". Good thing that was not the case.
well just to be clear, it was a certain richard bremner's idea, which harry did credit in his video, so kudos to him
As a Moroccan I am so proud that culture is so various and unpredictable, you should discover more in Morocco.
I took my Defender, didn’t have to worry about bad roads, to Morocco in March, fantastic country and the people are amazing, so friendly and welcoming.
A viewer here since the car spotting days.
Thanks for reinventing yourself on the content, you can bring for us the emotion of the adventure and capture in the best way on the videos. It's so cool to see your appetite for creating something unique in this universe of social media/UA-cam.
Wow you are special
Great video Sam! I admire your organisation and preparation skills. Each time I’ve done a road trip it’s booked about 12 hours before my eurotunnel crossing.
As a follower of both your channels, I would love to see you do a collaboration. Do it Sam!
As a Moroccan, i always get anxious whenever my favorite youtubers visit the country since i want them to have a great experience, and I’m glad the trip went as planned for you. Looking forward to part.2.
Heard some amazing things about Morocco; every country has its positives and negatives so I wouldn't get too anxious.
I had an incredible time there when I went, I tell everyone it's a country that should be on their list.
@@evns7142Thank you bro you are so welcome❤
I would honestly love to do a road trip to Morocco, it looks incredible!
Welcome anytime!
If u have the time and money. Do it. Its unbelievable. I've been to morocco 5 times. My brother in law lives in Dubai and is always asking me cone. For me Morocco any time over Dubai.
The one thing Sam is ‘not’ guilty of is driving his cars. Car adventures are very special. Bravo. 🎉
I get what you were trying to say :)
So he's gulity of driving his cars... right?
The final shot with the Ferrari and the dunes in the back was so epic to see. As a Moroccan, i'm so glad that you are enjoying it so far, and cannot wait to see whats coming next.
What a great adventure Sam, really appreciate the great filming, as not everyone realises how fiddly it is to keep stopping to get all that b-roll and the time you invest into such a great production. Your cheery outlook on life and positive mindset makes this a really enjoyable escape from the normal treadmill of life! Keep the great content coming and thank you! 👍
Bit Harry metcalf, but absolutely awesome trip. Very jealous and top video Sam
That scene of the Ferrari blasting away, deeper into the desert, that was beautiful. It almost felt as epic and nice as when a herd of mustangs are galloping through the wilderness.
I hope the video gets the attention it deserves at your viewers. Great content! Road trips are the best with you, you just catch the emotions and places very well
Love that you're talking the Ferrari on these great adventures. 😊
before watching your video watched Harry Metcalfe's video of his journey in a Ferrari Testarossa
I still remember that there is a TIZI N'TICHKA road in Morocco, Henry wrote about it a long time ago
The way Sam says.. 24:55 “ what a moment “… it sure is a moment.. big big appreciation Sam.. you’re in your own way of creating automotive content.. keep it up.. love watching these kinda trips brother 😍🥂.. big applause 💐💐
Nice video Sam. Memories to last forever.
What a legend! It’s so refreshing to see someone use a Ferrari as it was intended. Chapeau for having the balls to do this
Please say there’s a part 1-2-3 and 4 of this trip !!!! Love it
Fantastic video, none of the typical milking of each piece of content you see from other channels.
Thank you for sharing your incredible journey to the Sahara in the stunning Ferrari 360 Modena. Really enjoyed every second of this video. And you're so right, the 360 Modena is definitely a modern classic.
Best UA-cam video of 2023 so far!
This has to be one of your best adventures and it’s not all yet revealed. Eagerly awaiting for what is next in store.👍
I was waiting for that shot with the dunes the whole video. The end did not disappoint. Awesome content.
Still have that issue of Car magazine, Harry in his Testarossa in the late 80s.
People who give car UA-camrs a bad wrap. Clearly don’t understand. Who else is doing this…no one! Keep up the adventures Sam!
Thank you for this EPIC video! Now I want a classic Ferrari even more...
I don’t react so often to UA-cam video’s but this Sam, this is beautiful!
Awesome how you’re talking us through the technical modifications you made for the trip Sam! Really love your content!
“This is literally the scene that I dreamed of” @24min - thank you for sharing your dreams with us, and making them come true in incredible fashion! Your videos are amazing both visually and the sound design is also fantastic!
What a fantastic idea, a beautiful trip in wonderful Morocco. Very cool video!
Incredible! I prayed for more Ferrari 360 videos from “Seen Through Glass” yesterday and today there is a new video! PRAYERS ANSWERED! Omg this is amazing
We do love your adventures Sam. Great content as always 👍🏼
I've been to Morocco 5 times, it's scenery is breath taking but with a ferrari - it's a whole new ball game. Brilliant video and a lucky chap.
Your videos have the best storyline on YT, love it!
Nice Speedy!
Perfect video for a Sunday evening so chilled also enjoyed the harry video from few years back
Great adventure. Love the 360 and all it’s miles. Your road trip stories are the best. Tell us more about the food and coffee and hotels and culture!! Especially the food lol.
Great adventure man. This is an awesome and super underrated channel.
Your wife is so understanding man, specially when going to such dangerous place and in such a car that screams "im not from here"
Welcome to Morocco ! ❤
I always end up being very inspired by all your videos, even though i've been following you for so long, you haven't lost that special touch. You make me want to take my completely normal VW Passat tdi and go for crazy roadtrips just to create memories. Thank you.
All I can say is that this was a good and unexpected video! I love Harry's Garage adventures and seing that you got inspired by it is amazing!
This is genuinely amazing. Bringing this car that far away from home. My nerves could never. Congrats!
Remember that Sam was unsettled by squirrels. Your nerves can handle anything.
Might need to make a Ferrari 360 Sterrato or something? Lift it, buoy of tasteful body cladding, under tray protection. They’re all the rage, and we would LOVE it.
You are an inspiration Sam. I genuinely and thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us.
reminds me when we met a Russian with a blue Ferrari in the boat to Morocco. He was planning to trek around the desert as well !! I hope he had fun and found his way around
Wow, what a cool road-trip! Some rally mud flaps maybe next time to keep the gravel and sand off the paint and ppf. Epic video Sam!
I bet the people in person are like what is this person doing with a Ferrari in this terrain 😂 another nice video Sam keep it up
"You don't see any of this if you're flying". Best observation I have heard in longtime
This is SO refreshing to watch. I think we’re all living vicariously though you😊
Wow this is what we want Sam…. Outside the comfort zone and amazing footage and dialogue
Petition to change the channel name to: Scenery Through Glass.
The outro shots were class as usual.
Absolutely amazing content mate!! Definitely inspiring me to do the same with my cars!
Next generation Harry's Garage. Love it!
Check out Tarifa on the way back, amazing place with amazing beaches.
Sam, I can't believe you went to Fez and didn't explore the old town, one of the wonders of Morocco.
Interior of the car really blends well with the scenery there 😁😁 Awesome road trip and video!
Love the sound of the 360
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Thanks for taking us along. Have fun, be safe.
This is the best thing I've watched in a while..... Absolutely epic!
So good to see the 360 on an adventure again
Welcome to my country ! Happy to see that you’ve enjoyed it. Have a good road trip!
Only you would take a 20 year old Ferrari to the desert in Morocco , but by god you do it so well ...Content , production and music choice as usual always on point , Bring on the next drive the world !!
Need to watch it again from my TV, amazing job Sam!
Sam playing Outrun in real life - gorgeous Ferrari and awesome scenery! I hope Sega are watching for inspiration for Outrun 3 ;)
Harry's trip was the first thing I thought of when clicking on this video. Fantastic video, and what an amazing car for making the trip with no issues.
Every time you give us a new video, there is so much content in it. Every other UA-camr would make 2-4 videos out of your average video. Really awesome 🎉😊
Amazing adventure, Sam!! Fantastic video!
This reminds me of a Harry’s episode when he went to Morocco with his Testarosa. Epic
Welcome to Morocco
I adore the excitement, the enthusiasm. Makes me love cars
Fantastic Sam, Epic!! Cool to see you following the steps of Harry, my two most loved channels!😊
This is insane … Just great great stuff Sam !
What a wonderful adventure and amazing video (like most of yours)! It is also very timely for me as last fall I bought my "modern classic", an '02 C5 Z06 Corvette. Now of course it is no Ferrari but it had only 30K miles on it and is all stock and in like new condition. I drove it home 2500 miles home loving every minute of the trip, and then parked it in the garage for winter.
Now that spring is here I thought about selling it because I live on a dirt road and it is impossible to keep the car clean. I had this notion that I should try to preserve the car in its like new condition and not put a lot of miles on it.
After watching how much you are enjoying your car and using it as it should be, I have come to realize that my previously mentioned notion is foolery. I will not sell the car and instead, start driving it as much as I can enjoying every minute of it. Thanks for the inspiration!
One of your best pieces of content ever! 👏🏻
What a fantastic video Sam. Keep them coming!
Mad Man! Great Vintage STG Content.
Did a fam holiday last year in Morocco. Drove 1500km, Marrakesh, Merzouga, Meknes, Casablanca and back to Marrakesh. Google maps indicates 21 hours, so you can see the roads really are good averaging over 75km/hour. Didn’t need tell our kids to stop staring at their screens! Fantastic journey. The mountain pass south of Marrakesh road is just an insanely good very wide new road. I hardly ever drove below the speed limit (while in a mundane mid-class SUV). Got 2 speeding tickets over 1500km, in total about 50 EURO. Well worth it.
And oh yes I too own a Ferrari 360 (spider yellow) but would never drive it in for such a long stretch on highways through Europe. Route Napoleon, surely on my list. Southern Italy, definitely but then I’d probably put my 360 on a trailer behind a nice airco’d van and only release her at the Amalfi Coast.
Anyhow I applaud your sense of adventure! Hope you’ll enjoy many more years to come.
If I didn’t know any better I’d say you were in Arizona driving from Phoenix heading towards San Diego on Interstate 8. Americanesque indeed!
Looking forward to more of your adventure.
Well done Sam... Epic motorcar, epic adventure. From Portland. Oregon USA
24:20 Gran Turismo Scape shot right there
100% right about the folks in Morocco, they are the best!
Super video and welcome to Morocco 🇲🇦🚀
Life is all about memories and adventures. This trip you did is just Epic. Congratulations bro!
Whats it like knowing that out of 7 billion people your probably the only person right now that is driving a 20 year old FERRARI from the UK to the Sahara. Love it haha
This is my favorite film you have ever done! What a fantastic drive!
Amazing video sam, so happy that the channel is getting the recognition it deserves 🙌
This feels like Drive the World 2.0. Absolutely positively cool video.
He failed to mention the reason Harry Metcalfe did this trip was a tribute to a famous article from Car magazine in 1995 .
They drove a Ferrari 512 m to the Sahara , I’ve still got that magazine e somewhere , will have to dig it out .
One of a kind content! I LOVE IT! Best stuff out right now I have a 570s so im living vicariously through that sound in the 360
Amazing to see, I have watched you for a while, but this video truly was amazing! Can’t wait for the episode!!
Im so excited for this sams adventure series
Amazing images! Thanks for the inspiration 💛
I Really loved this. Beautiful shots, beautiful scenery. Well done Sam.
That was pretty damn cool, man! That's one hell of a trip! One of the more exciting videos from you lately. I can't wait for the next one! Cool that you took inspiration from Harry. You guys should team up sometime. I am curious...wonder how far into Africa could you go in that car? Considering the state of things in some countries, I wouldn't wanna risk it though. Safe travels!
Welcome to Morocco have a nice ride
Nice to see the red speedy back on the wrist
