Can you get lows like that by practicing on a concert tuba or would it be better to practice on a sousaphone

How long did it take you to get your lows like that?

I had been doing it since 9th grade. It was kind of a normal thing in 2007 to be able to play up and down the horn. A lot of people ask about mouthpiece but all it has to do with is the player.
