Speaking of ethnic and religious tragedies Burma/Myanmar facing today, the fact that the world's longest Civil War which is in Myanmar, mainly between Buddhist Burmese and Christian ethnic people was made it possible, prolonged and supported by Anglo Western bloc of USA, UK & Australia, etc while they are using next-door neighbor Thailand (which has a defense treaty with them) as a base camp since in the 1950. In my humble opinion, ethnic refugees & others fleeing the conflict/war in Myanmar are entitled to cross over to Thailand to stay, as well as eligibility to relocate to new places such as the USA, Australia, New Zealand.

I'm from Burma and this is the really happening situations. And there is more that tragedies and sufferers from evil Burmese military that the rest of world didn't know. The country is really chaos and people are suffering from terror. Young people and civilians are brutally killed every where by Burmese military.
We have been accepting refugees from Myanmar for decades now. Of course we know. But we also know that without the Military Regime, there may no longer be a Myanmar. The country will implode, disintegrate, and instead be a dozen smaller states.
The Indian government should seriously start doing peacekeeping missions in Burma, as many retired army officers have suggested. It will be a unifying element for India, and specifically the North East.
India goverment and judiciary is capable 9f handling it's internal matter . Although as an Indian I'm very concerned with deteriorating conditions of human rights in Germany and France .
@@Wen25hI respect your opinion, but I disagree with your accusation of separatism and militancy. India has a history of helping its neighboring countries in times of need, such as Bangladesh, Sikkim and Bhutan. India supported the liberation of Bangladesh from Pakistan in 1971, and recognized it as an independent nation. India also helped Sikkim in its merger with India in 1975, after a referendum in which the majority of Sikkimese people voted to join India. India and Bhutan have a special relationship based on mutual trust and cooperation, and India has been Bhutan's largest development partner and trading partner. India also provides military training and assistance to Bhutan, and has pledged to protect Bhutan's sovereignty and territorial integrity. So, India can advocate for separatism and militancy in those areas but not in Myanmar who is oppressing the Chin-Kuki-Zo people for hundreds of years? These examples show that India's involvement in the affairs of its neighbors is not based on any selfish or expansionist motives, but rather on the principles of friendship, peace and stability. India has no intention of interfering in the internal matters of Myanmar, but only wants to help the people of Chinland who are suffering from violence and oppression by the military junta. India has a moral obligation to stand by the democratic aspirations of the Chin people, who share ethnic, cultural and religious ties with India. India also has a strategic interest in ensuring that Myanmar does not become a pawn of China, which is trying to expand its influence and presence in the region. Therefore, I think that India should seriously consider doing peacekeeping missions in Myanmar, as many retired army officers have suggested. It will not only be a humanitarian gesture, but also a wise move to safeguard India's own security and interests in the region to stop mass illegal immigration in the country.
The refugees are now living in conditions that are like those back in the middle ages, when meat was scarce and news and other knowledge only came from the priests and other clerics. It's sad to see the people of Myanmar suffer, hopefully the West takes stronger action soon to help the people and bring an end to the military dictatorship.

Many thanks for the informative multi-page comments by 'Ms. Gregoria' at, "Myanmar remains in social and economic crisis since military seized power/BBC News".

Long-live Myanmar government. From Nagaland India
The Indian government should seriously start doing peacekeeping missions in Burma, as many retired army officers have suggested. It will be a unifying element for India, and specifically the North East.
Mynmmar is not indian nor your community land. Stop your typical separatism & militancy everywhere.
@@Wen25hit's time to address it and send these wanna be aka RSS hindutva radical extremists to hell
