I own both skins and in my opinion soryu really makes me feel relaxed and the sfx is really satisfying but i cant deny the fact that water lily is much smoother and i keep getting mvp with that skin im also ws rn because of water lily(sorry for my grammar hehe)

I'm grateful to be able getting water Lily during the event but after months using it i kinda wish the ultimate effect to be moree fascinating because it was soo simple comparing to her other skin. I wish that they did a little enhancement on that overall it's a beautiful skin and worth buying for kagura main. But ofc soryu is still her best skin.

'cos I've tried both --- Soryu Maiden (trial card) & Water Lily --- And I must say, the annual starlight skin is definitely worth it and is more pleasing to the eyes than the Epic skin. And it gives off this magical vibe (with tons of sparkles) while casting her skills. Good job, Moonton!

To me Soryu Maiden wins, why? because her new skin looks like her cherry witch special skin the one that is purple painted. Skill wise tho, it still looks the same as the cherry witch but purple.
Soryu Maiden wins all categories except for passive and basic attack. Water Lily's color scheme and repetitive flower effect can't beat Soryu's majestic and mythical vibes. Soryu Maiden is still Kagura's best skin 😎
My opinion it's actually the Soryuu maiden who actually has the worse color scheme. If you check the skin, it's all blue. Like everything is blue. Unlike Soryuu the gold and purple complimented each other. Well to be fair the Soryuu maiden has the blue and gold effect as well but it's not really noticeable (only visible if he using ULTRA HD MODE)... So yea the winner for skill effects is water and Soryuu has better sound effects. Winner for Ult combo of course is Soryuu for the amazing mountain and dragon combo, but if it's with passive then Water lily wins by default.

There's something about Soryu Maiden that I like more than Water Lily...IDK, Maybe I just feel that Soryu's Ultimate have more impact or something, and maybe the ingame model itself. Cause Water Lily kinda reminded me of Kagura's Amethyst Wizard Skin. Just my opinion.🤞
I think it's because the Water Lily is labelled Annual Starlight. Having it Labelled epic or any higher tier skin might have won favors. It's a wonderful skin but due to its tagging it looked cheaper for me

Just obtained water lily and i must say skil casting is smoother than the rest of my kagura skin. Definitely pretty design and her outift is not overly designed. ❤❤ anyway all of kagura's skins are beautiful

The combination of soryu maidens 2 ultimate is more beautiful than water lily because it combines the emarald mountain and the dragon that soars around the mountain with soryu dragon in the middle...you can't beat that effect with any of her other skins
The only thing I don't like about skins that are almost one coloured is that no matter how flashy or big the effects are, it is very difficult to see the actual details of the effects because all you see is just a messy blob.

Only the passive is where water lily is better. Moonton sucked on this annual starlight skin. Water Lily is just like the fancy version of cherry witch with purple color. Soryu Maiden is definitely better, skill effects and sfx wise.
As an kagura user and has both, I choose soryu, why? Bcz soryu is kinda soft and comfortable to use, while water lily effect is bold and heavy, but again back to y'all opinion.
So I was aiming for the recall effect that's why I decided to draw in her annual starlight event. Come at my 20th draw, I got the recall, and when I draw all the 58 tokens I end up having 298🦋, but since I already got the recall, I don't really now what to exchange. Should I draw till I get her skin since she's so cute? Really having second thoughts because I'm not really good at using her.

@@vee.3029 it actually does lol for sometime after revamp it was the same animation but it suddenly changed into a different one. Try to compare it you’ll see rainy walk has different walking animation than all her other skins.

It’s similar with the hands dangling but I think the animation for her starlight now appears more “chic” or girly than before the revamp. But yes, only rainy walk has this animation and all her others skins has the same revamped animation with her hands bending over her back. This surprised me because after revamp all her skins has the same animation (even rainy walk) but I use her special skins more since I have both and one day when I used rainy walk again it has a different walk.

@@eric_nub76 all flowers? normal skin, common skin and special skin(cherry witch) are her only skins that have same flowers(because they’re also old). Special skin(summer skin) have festival skill effects with a lemonade as her basic atk, starlight have rainy, rainbow, water effects while lucky box skin have all water effects. This new skin have flower effects but not the same flower as her old three skins. On the other hand, aside from Lunox’s starlight and EoE skin, all her skin’s skill color effects are the same. Guin’s Lucky box skin is her only dead weight skin having skill effects that have no connection to her skin’s name at all. At least kagura’s skin skill effects have connection with her skin’s name(excluding the common basic skin because every common basic skin have the same effects like the default normal skin have)

both are worth it skins but soryu maiden is definitely kagura’s best skin especially after the revamp. it looks well…epic with her concept of the sea dragon’s daughter while flower concept on kagura is kinda outdated.

Soryu maiden needs more prominent details to justify her price and skin type. I have used both in gameplay.
I expected too much on starlight skin but i like how simple it is!
There's something about Soryu Maiden that I like more than Water Lily...IDK, Maybe I just feel that Soryu's Ultimate have more impact or something, and maybe the ingame model itself. Cause Water Lily kinda reminded me of Kagura's Amethyst Wizard Skin. Just my opinion.🤞

I think it's because the Water Lily is labelled Annual Starlight. Having it Labelled epic or any higher tier skin might have won favors. It's a wonderful skin but due to its tagging it looked cheaper for me

Just obtained water lily and i must say skil casting is smoother than the rest of my kagura skin. Definitely pretty design and her outift is not overly designed. ❤❤ anyway all of kagura's skins are beautiful

The combination of soryu maidens 2 ultimate is more beautiful than water lily because it combines the emarald mountain and the dragon that soars around the mountain with soryu dragon in the middle...you can't beat that effect with any of her other skins

Only the passive is where water lily is better. Moonton sucked on this annual starlight skin. Water Lily is just like the fancy version of cherry witch with purple color. Soryu Maiden is definitely better, skill effects and sfx wise.

As an kagura user and has both, I choose soryu, why? Bcz soryu is kinda soft and comfortable to use, while water lily effect is bold and heavy, but again back to y'all opinion.

Come at my 20th draw, I got the recall, and when I draw all the 58 tokens I end up having 298🦋, but since I already got the recall, I don't really now what to exchange. Should I draw till I get her skin since she's so cute? Really having second thoughts because I'm not really good at using her.

@@vee.3029 it actually does lol for sometime after revamp it was the same animation but it suddenly changed into a different one. Try to compare it you’ll see rainy walk has different walking animation than all her other skins.

@@arichan7599 “rainy walk” walking animation from my observation has a different animation compared to her pre-revamp animation. It’s similar with the hands dangling but I think the animation for her starlight now appears more “chic” or girly than before the revamp. But yes, only rainy walk has this animation and all her others skins has the same revamped animation with her hands bending over her back. This surprised me because after revamp all her skins has the same animation (even rainy walk) but I use her special skins more since I have both and one day when I used rainy walk again it has a different walk.

@@eric_nub76 all flowers? normal skin, common skin and special skin(cherry witch) are her only skins that have same flowers(because they’re also old). Special skin(summer skin) have festival skill effects with a lemonade as her basic atk, starlight have rainy, rainbow, water effects while lucky box skin have all water effects. This new skin have flower effects but not the same flower as her old three skins. On the other hand, aside from Lunox’s starlight and EoE skin, all her skin’s skill color effects are the same. Guin’s Lucky box skin is her only dead weight skin having skill effects that have no connection to her skin’s name at all. At least kagura’s skin skill effects have connection with her skin’s name(excluding the common basic skin because every common basic skin have the same effects like the default normal skin have)

Does the water lily skin would be available on starlight shop? I already have 10 starlight gems. Which is I want to use them already and thinking which of 2 skins will I buy? The experiment 21 or the neon light wheel. But suddenly I realized kagura has a starlight skin which is the water lily. Now I've decided to buy it instead. But I don't know if that would be available also on star light shop.
