Thank you, Mike- our evangical upbring brought no fruit mixed with much confusion with very little love and made no sense - so sad that I found the truth at 60 - but grateful for the truth - 🙌🙏
He disciples / instructs us when we're thinking wrong. He wants to correct us...so we know truth....that we're made in His image and likeness. He TEACHES with words not with pain. Pain has fear...fear has torment. None of which is in Father’s nature.

I've never heard that God "punishes" those he loves, but that He disciplines us. For our good.
