i love this cover, nothing beats a cover for someone who plays the song with enthusiasm the right way, rather than just playing the song, absolutely outstanding
Ever see the commercial that says I love you Johnny but you're not getting my Bud Light? Well, I'd give this guy my Bud Light. All the excellent tutorials, hell, the entire 12 pack.
You did a fantastic job on that young fellow! BOC was a Long Island (NY) band back in the day. I saw them in the bars often. You did a great job demonstrating how to play Burning For You. Thanks for sharing it! Ciao! God Bless!
Wow! Just subscribed. Thank you for the excellent (and useful) tutorial. Not sure I have the memory capacity to take all of this one in, but it gets me close enough in each segment to sound convincing when I cover it. Speaking of BÖC, I'd sure like to see your take on Then Came the Last Days of May.
...And this is where I humbly place my guitars at the feet of a Master. I have been enthralled by your channel and your amazing playing. All I can say is Well Done Sir.
Gonna use this cover as the basis to learn to play this song on guitar. Thanks mate. I was learning to play the song and was wondering how I could arrange for it for a full play through. This is great. :)
Great video! Not done by many individuals as well as you've done here. Soloing is on par, however, I'd like to offer a small constructive criticism: After the verse and into the pre-chorus/chorus, the barre chords _slide_ back and forth between A and A♭, rather than between A and G. But dude, great job! One of my favorite tunes.
I have a real challenge for you . Can you show me Feel the Heat by The Henry Paul Band (Outlaws ,Henry Paul Band) Its a great song, with killer leads. Thanks for all your other videos!
Excellent. And especially so when considering that Donald has _never_ reproduced those solos live. He's even been asked about it in interviews and always gives some cryptic hogwash of an answer as to why he doesn't.
@@LEADSOLO No worries! Funny, but the outro "answer" licks to the choruses were the ones that gave me the most trouble when I learned these parts many, many moons ago lol. You do nice work man, keep it up!
Buck is an artist and lives to play live. That is where he can stretch his improvisational skills. If he stuck to your idea we would never have had Veteran Live from ETL. Or the solo in Astronomy off Some Enchanted Evening. He and the audience would get bored playing the records solo every time.
There are quite a few chords but I need to clarify something. On the verse I play the G chord in two different positions and the last time I play it with an E bass, as the bass guitar goes to an E, and I play it that way to point it out. Note that a G chord with an E bass is the same thing as an Em7 chord
Superb cover. I think Buck Dharma is a genius.
i love this cover, nothing beats a cover for someone who plays the song with enthusiasm the right way, rather than just playing the song, absolutely outstanding
Wow that is some great playing. I need to finally challenge myself and learn this whole song. So bad ass! 🔥
Great job! Thanks, don't need tab. ! Buck Dharma would be proud!
my rock brother. THAT WAS FUC*ING AWESOME!!!!!! I can finally play it!!!!!!! I"m 53 years old and I cant read. NOTHING STOPS ME

You did this awesome song justice. Great job!
That was fucking amazing! Loved it!
Shame, nobody ever gets this solo right. But you were the closest one. Bravo.
WooHoo... You're on fire there! Buck Dharma really crafts his solos/guitar work most excellently 🍻 Cheers!
rarely do you see people play the lead fills at the end... this rocked..
Kick ass man. love it love it love it. Some goofie little open strings in there are tricky.
but doable after a while. Thanks man. I'm inspired.
Lots of nice Intervals in that solo!
Hey Tom, thanks so much. this and a bunch of others I've got to learn quick and you just made it a whole lot easier.
Cheers from Canada
Your fingers on that fretboard are on fire

Remember, Better to be Burning For You, than Burning FROM You.
Fucking spot on!
Great fucking job!
Everything you ever wanted to know about Buck is in that solo!

Great job as usual. Any chance of doing Roller by April Wine?
Most definitely. Funny but that has been on my mind for quite some time to do that. Thanks for the reminder!!!
Here it is... lesson for Roller by April wine. The playthrough will come later. ua-cam.com/video/IyXw2PCpRaM/v-deo.html
Excellent. And especially so when considering that Donald has _never_ reproduced those solos live. He's even been asked about it in interviews and always gives some cryptic hogwash of an answer as to why he doesn't.
Thanks for appreciating the detail! 👍

Friday night, great song and thank you! for showin how its done.
Here's to Friday nights. 👍
Awesome cover my friend, can you tell what' s the tuning ?
Standard tuning.
:-)
good job fella! Luv me some soft white underbelly
Definitely not a Steve Miller 3 chord song! Did you ever count the chords in this song?
There are quite a few chords but I need to clarify something. On the verse I play the G chord in two different positions and the last time I play it with an E bass, as the bass guitar goes to an E, and I play it that way to point it out. Makes the common mistake of going from A to G in the chorus instead of A to G#. Listen closer to the song. The rest is great though.
Even without listening, I know what your talking about, and you may well be correct. I'll have to go back and listen. Thanks for pointing i that out.
