- Hello, how has your week been? Hope it’s been well and inspiring enough for you to want to take up one new beginner wood carving ideas! We’ve been thinking about what's a good wooden figures carving tutorial for this week. And, well, then we remembered - it would be only appropriate to come up with an eagle head carving video, wouldn’t you say?
Eagle wood carving is not as difficult as it may seem at first, but it’s a greatly exciting topic for small wood carvings, especially considering the Indepence Day being so close. Oh wow! Now I have to try my hand at this type of carving!!! More tools needed. Lol
I have a few of their knives. I also just picked up a gouge set, and I'm very pleased. I've tried a couple different companies too, but I use my beavercraft blades the most. Ton of tutorials as well. You get your money's worth from Beavercraft!

I just ordered the SCO1 chisel set from Wal-Mart. I have the wood all ready, pattern laid out. Just gotta wait for the gouges to get here.

It depends on your initial skills and perseverance.
It`s possible to cut an eagle like this one in half a day, for a beginner it can take a day.
