It’s your unit, you don’t need permission but you could run the idea past them, cause some storage facilities has units dedicated to business which includes plugs and lights!

I ended up getting a bigger unit 10x20 but depending on what your using it for the 10x10 can be very spacey

100% of Storage unit companies in my area do NOT allow this & there are harsh penalties for those who try and break that rule 🥴😬. You’re very luck to have found an exception👍
What State Do You Live In? So Other People In That Area Are Aware. In NY Some Storage Units Have Units For This Exact Reason
So you went to "ALL" the storage spaces and know for sure they "don't allow" this ?....yeah, right
Did you mention your set up to the staff? Another UA-camr said it is best to "ask for permission" to avoid getting kicked out. I want to do something similar and am sure they will notice me arriving daily and staying all day. I do not know if I should ask if I can set up an office in my unit
I didn’t ask but I did let them know what I was planning to do. They just don’t want anyone sleeping in a storage, so I would run it by them so they know that’s not what you’re doing. But you don’t necessarily have to ask.

Once again I'm going to say this when people put this stuff on UA-cam the prices of storage units are going to go up. So the folks who just want to store items are going to have to pay twice and three times as much until the city decides to step in. So do what you do but keep it on the down low don't put it out there because you know how we are everybody's going to start doing it and then we're going to have tent cities in the storage locker
If you’ve ever owned a storage unit you know, that the price goes up every couple of months from the price you started with, no matter what you use your unit for. It’s on youtube so people can see that you don’t have to have a lot of money for your business to grow and be successful!

Storage owners shouldn't care how the space is used as long as a tenant is being safe, considerate of others, and paying their rent on time...
