They would of been smarter if the back of the truck trailer was up to the dock with the dock plate, instead of a suicide measure of using pallets to back out of the trailer and risk one of the pallets or pallets to buckle down and cause a very serious injury.. As an expert in operating the forklift, this is very dangerous scenario and sad to say that this was an accident waiting to happen.. Never, ever use pallets or something that can collapse under your forklift. Always tell the truck driver to back up to the concrete dock or apron and then use the approved dock plate to drive in and out if a trailer.. It is safe and you will live a much longer life... Guaranteed!!
This is really bloody stupid. Number 1: No high viz? it's gotta be one of those backwards countries. Number 2: Clearly your "work place" isn't even designed for forklifts. You see, warehouses in DEVELOPED countries ALWAYS factor in the delivery and movement of forklifts while designing the layout of the premises.
