I think the change to violent colors and weird backdrops is because that's exactly how the horror comics accentuated those same most moments, reflecting the psyche of the character at that moment, rather than show the permanent objects.
ICET100 Yo, llo. Sorry man. I completely forgot about this. It bothered me because of how Stanley reacts to it, and Charlie's death. I've watched this since I was 5, but it still kind of bothers me. Llo.
The janitors death was the most disturbing for me simply because you couldn't see it. You knew it was eating him, but all you saw was the blood pouring down his chest as he's pulled into the crate.
Arse Robinson True, I believe it was definitely captured during an Arctic expedition. But I also believe the school's science department bought the crate for studies, not knowing what was inside.
I don’t know if I’m the only kid in my generation to do this but for fun I would look at my mom and dads dvd collection and chose the one I wanted to watch based on the cover I’ll never forget seeing the cover for this and thinking it looks like a silly movie. I was dead wrong😂it scared the fucking shit out of me and till this day is one of my favorite horror movies of all time
This story strongly reminds me of a nightmare I had as a kid, except the actors, location, and atmosphere were completely different. If it wasn't just a nightmare, it's something I've never even heard of
When my sister and I were both little, normally she could sit through a lot of horror films no problem (I mean, I still get scared a lot more easily than she does) but man, this film *really* scared her.
Weeeey pinche monstruo chingón. La neta si me da miedo esa bestia. Es de esas cosas que si me llegó a enterar que existen busco a dónde ir pa' nunca encontrarme con eso.
Funny enough the creature survived over a hundred years without eating. It just does it probably out of spite for screwing around his crate or whatever home he inhabits.
I don't get how it survived all those years in storage with no food. Oddly enough that crate eventaully ends up at Camp Crystal Lake with no monster in sight.
+Jalen Donaghy don't get the 3rd film it is a piece of shit, George Romero and Stephen King had nothing to do with it, it doesn't follow the comic book style, and some of the people who helped make the movie were also a part Day of the Dead 2 Contagium. Just get the first two movies, those are the only Creepshow movies that exist. Just trust me on this one.
This was Henry’s way out. He’d dreamed of killing Billy, hence the reason why he drugged professor “freaky deeky” and invited her out to the campus. Genius if you ask me. Wilma had it coming.
the crate monster gave me nightmares and straight scared the shit out of me as a kid still creepy till this day... LEGENDARY
Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Long Haul Deleted Scenes Heffley's Family Gets Stuck the Van Forests/ Bigfoots Attacks July 20 2018
when the crate monster(fluffy as he was called on set) grabbed the lady he's like 'i got this buddy, thanks for the free meals!'
I always found it funny when Billie is yelling at her husband and the creature jumps out of the crate as if to say "Fine I'll shut her up."
He says "I got it" before he eats her. Proving that to be actually true.
the bite he takes out of that kid is no fucking joke
That, or he's giving Charlie the best hickey he's ever had... before making lunch meat out of him!
Yeah it is. Should of been down to the windpipe. Guess it saved that for Billie.
Well he did hit him with a wrench 😂
Funny how every time the creature attacks someone, the lights turn red.
Well red does mean danger
I think the change to violent colors and weird backdrops is because that's exactly how the horror comics accentuated those same most moments, reflecting the psyche of the character at that moment, rather than show the permanent objects.
Well, I guess if you haven’t eaten for more than a hundred years, odds are you’re bound to be a little bit cranky.
LoL!!!!!
...and EXTREMELY HUNGRY!
If not ravaged for substance'/!!!
Hell this thing got 3 full meals I say that’s pretty good on his first day out of the crate.
Just tell it to call you Billie. LoL
R.I.P. Fritz Weaver. You'll be deeply missed.
He was also great in the twilight zone episode about the spaceship
For about fifteen years I thought Fluffy was a werewolf in that crate since I was too scared to get the full blast of it.
Out of all of them, The Crate is the ONLY one that bothered me. :)
Deven Powers
why did it Bother You

Are you going to Answer my Question
ICET100 maybe because he posted that comment a year ago
Evan Schell it doesn't matter how long a person post a Question or Reply The Question should still be Answered

RIP Hal Holbrook, great actor
Fritz Weaver too.

OMG Yes!!! All I'm mainly thinking is that he is going straight munch mode on that poor guy's head/face or something first for sure...
The way they filmed the pry bar hitting the floor was a "what did we just do"moment.
@@molotov.artistthey should make a movie about the crate monster but when it was first found like a prequel
My mother bought this movie for me when I was little as punishment I was so scared changed my life.
One of my favorite tales. At least at the end, Henry won't have to go through divorce court. He gets to keep everything, lol.
what a classic growing up as a kid lol
At 2:05, The Crate Monster is like "What up, Bitch!"
When he grabbed the wife, it sound like he said I got it then eats her
Saido Kuraku He sure did.
+Saido Kuraku oh shit ikr
Scarred the crap out of me at 6 or 7!!! It was a 150 year old yeti creature from the arctic...June 19th 1834'''
Me too. And thank you for the Yeti reference. I keep hearing different people thinking it was a demon possessed ape. Smh.
+Myles Hume wasn't it suppose to be a captured yetti, too dangerous to set free from the crate so they hid it under the staircase.
Arse Robinson True, I believe it was definitely captured during an Arctic expedition. But I also believe the school's science department bought the crate for studies, not knowing what was inside.
Lol...hmmmm...and here I just always thought it was Chewbacca's pissed off , crazy ass wookie cousin!!

We, lovers of horror, like to see a monster with a healthy appetite.
that thing scared me shittles
When my sister and I were both little, normally she could sit through a lot of horror films no problem (I mean, I still get scared a lot more easily than she does) but man, this film *really* scared her.
Just imagine an alien facehugger clamping on Fluffy or he gets infected with the T virus either way. Imagine the monstrosity of that fusion.
Does anyone else see the gunshot or whatever it was after the janitor is eaten and professor Stanley runs off
It's the blood getting into the outlet and shorting it out
When it attacked Billie I know a lot of men said "right on!" In their heads....
1:18 the music makes this too funny
I laughed a lot
Thank you
Why did it cut off when the woman was getting eaten? That was the best part.
still scares me !
He was favorite Horror movie in the 80ts
Always Loved The Crate! The Monstah is so scary!
I clearly remember the monster slapping the guy and caving his face in not scratch ing his face.
Amazing soundtrack

It was a crime to feed beautiful Adrienne Barbeau to the crate monster.
The part where the thing kills homeboy next to the stairs, pure fucking gold.
I remember the Nightmares this show gave me as a kid. Now I just laugh at it
Snickers - You're not you when you're hungry

Wat??? When n how???
@@ajmillie7199 In Jason goes to Hell (1993) you have the same crate
@@SuperTerminator83oooooohh right I forgot about that. Jason goes to hell is such a bizarre crossover of horror films
Harry and the Henderson's 2
The Crate Monster ("Fluffy") reminds me of the subterranean creatures in H.P. Lovecraft's short story, "The Lurking Fear."
terrifyingy terrific

as a kid I always thought this was blizzard from primal rage.
Loved that game on Sega
A Fluffy prequel film.
terrifyingly
Here we have the inspiration for Calvin Box Monster from Boozawhiskers In Flew A Busy Bee book 2
That crate monsters looks an awful lot like the Mugatu from "Star Trek the Old Series", except without the horn!
oh the nostalgia
He had that juke fake out at 1:19
The Crate (1982)
Anyone who's ever attended an older college knows a campus building that looked like that one. Empty a lot, creepy, a lot of linoleum tiles.
Face it... Charlie got it worst
The mini me of bigfoot.
It seems like everyone who watched this was a kid

It’s a movie but how did it survive in that crate, how did they get it in there and why was that crate there?
Awesome
