i bought fore sp-x8000 the 9090 not the db modal. it had not hit the px in 75. i think the db had twenty or thirty more watts. if i remember right. dual 1229 turntable d 90 sansui cassette deck . 45 years old i have only replace phonograph needle and drive belt. i had it shipped to my folks home in 76 thank you army. that would have put the hurt on my wallet . i set it up in there living room and two speakers in the dining room. mom and dad enjoyed classical and had many albums .the power and clarity of this unit moved them to tears.
This set is also interesting because it was bought in late 70's, in Benghazi, Lybia. Travelled lots of miles and years and now it's restored in its original beauty.
@@aleksandarjanicijevic1875 I bought a pair of woofers from these with the intention of building them into my own speakers. I have never heard these in real life so I have been looking on UA-cam for a decent demonstration. Most of the videos on here do not give any sense of how these sound as they are poorly recorded and the speakers are usually driven by dreadful digital amplifiers, playing rubbish music. Your recording is the best!
@@mikemidulster It's captured with a mobile phone cam, so you know... Actually bass is stronger than you can hear it on recording and I have put them on stands now.
Increíblemente fantastico el sonido bien chingon \m/_

You managed to capture the airy sound and natural bass of these speakers. Nice!
Thanks 👍...
