- During a conference at the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar Senegal, Senegalese Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko just raised the possibility of joining the move of the Alliance of Sahel State Countries by closing French military bases in the West African country and his support to them in a wide-ranging speech that also touched on the euro-backed CFA franc currency, oil and gas deals and LGBTQ rights in Senegal. Sonko, the freshly elected leader who rose to power after his chosen presidential candidate, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, won the presidential election in March, is recognized for his outspoken criticism of France's perceived overreach in its previous colonies in Africa. This is something we must institute into our constitutions and military buildup so that no matter how long it takes, we shall make a claim for what is rightfully ours and fight for it if necessary. To this end, I am awfully pleased with the steps the Burkinabes are taking towards the acquisition of nuclear technology - first for their energy needs, and who knows what thereafter? Do not forget that the French burned all they deemed was theirs when we kicked them out the first time even as they slapped us with the infamous colonial debt; thus, we were made to pay for their sabotage of us! France owes us big time in many ways aside these.

Not only France but all of Europe needs to return all the looted resources they took such as the diamonds angle that they have stockpiled all over the world Europe needs to pay Africa back but we know that if that happens Europe will go bankrupt Europe needs African resources in order to survive France is not the only colonizer we should talk about all of the colonizers who looted and plundered Africa for centuries. They need to pay but we know they never will.

Africa need to rid off all political party leaders that are above 50 years old. Anyone else that is above such an age has no vision, has no time, has nothing new for the people, except to be used by western leaders and their corporations for his / her own retirement plan. It would be nice if Africa could call Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam and engage him to call for a ‘Billion Brothers March’ somewhere in the center of Africa.
I believe Farrakhan has the power to unite all of Africa as he united those black men in America at the Million Man March to become better leaders, fathers, husbands, business partners and owners in our communities and a call to end all strife with one another.

The Senegalese people must wait and watch for concrete actions to remove France to achieve everything they "talk" about. So far, the AES has not reached out to Senegals leaders to ask them to join them. And France has not been asked to leave. So far, just a lot of talking.
