I like to think that Reclusa is a spiritual successor to Fawful being a technology themed villain with dark power that while comically unhinged is still treated as a serious threat. Though Reclusa's tech seems to be more advanced then Fawful's and shows less egoism. Though to compensate they made Reclusa's motive comical. Get this. His whole goal is "I like being a loner. So I'm just going to kill everyone and everything so I'm the only one there is." That's his entire plot.
@@RancidRiki And Reclusa also shares similarities with Cackletta due to both of them intending to take their respective campaigns to the Mushroom Kingdom once they finish with their original location!
Remember, there’s no such thing as “Flawless”. Besides, if something was flawless, there will STILL be people hating. I absolutely love this game, so much fun!
Wow, Bowser has been training his minions well, they are much tougher and have so many cool tricks I've never seen them do before(the Shy Guys are the funniest of all). I like how the Spikes can pull out spike bars like they do in 3D World, and I also love that the game introduced Orange colored Magikoopas(which even use the turn block-to-enemy attack from SMW) to differentiate them from Kamek.
0:44 - Pumbaa from Lion King confirmed 3:17 - More like pervert fish 3:31 - Literally Lipp Cervas from SpongeBob. 5:10 - The one enemy I had to look up how to beat as this enemy was responsible for a few game overs, this enemy defeating you is like you’re Mike Tyson and the palooka is Jake Paul. 11:18 - EVE from WALL-E
little fun fact: Seedlusas have slightly different color palettes depending on if you fight them in the Lower Level of the Soli-Tree or in the enemy rush on the Upper Level. I think they're the only enemy to do this. The one in the video is from the upper level, but ones one the lower level have dark blue petals with orange lines and white eyes. Also I think this is the first game to actually create a distinction between Kamek and the Magikoopas by making them orange, I like it.
To anyone who doesn't know all the enemies in Mario & Luigi Brothership, never fear! I have a list of all the regular enemies, not counting bosses or Glohm-affected ones right here! Here they are! Seedle, Seedle R, Hydro Seedle, Golden Seedle, Seedlusa, Guardarm, Soreboar, Big Soreboar, Invizilizard, Invizilizard R, Bumbleshoot, Parashoot, Capnap, Capnap R, Spikely, Snaptor, Big Spikely, Krode, Krode R, Drillby, Drillby R, Shower Fish, Sharkbone, Curlup, Curlup R, Magmad, Icead, Palooka, Palooka R, Foopfly, Foopfly R, Millton, Helmet Zok Trooper, Spike Zok Trooper, Zokkarang Trooper, Ring Zok Trooper, Jet Zok Trooper, Weeping Trooper, Reclusiff, Goomba, Koopa Troopa, Koopa Paratroopa, Spike, Bob-omb, Spiny, Shy Guy, Boo, Dry Bones, Magikoopa, Hammer Bro, Fire Bro, Ice Bro, and Piranha Plant. That's all 53 regular enemies, not counting Glohm-affected ones, bosses, boss helpers, or altered enemies from the Monster Mania guys! I thought it was 54, but I realized Doom Blooms are bosses in the first phase of the final battle with Reclusa.
I'm not gonna lie, outside of the Zok Troopers and Reclusa's minions, I'm not a huge fan of the enemy design in Brothership. But not all of them are terrible. I really like the designs of Krode (the metal tree), Plooka(The punching bag with boxing gloves), and Milton (The totem pole guys) to name a few. And I ESPECIALLY love the attacks. No question about it, Brothership has my favorite attack patterns in the Mario & Luigi series...even if the que to counter attack or dodge is super hard for some enemies...I'm looking at you Snaptor. 😒
5:10 I cannot, for the life of me, understand this attack at all. I know you’re supposed to hit them a lot of times, but how many times? Especially Glohm Palookas.
Read the tutorials. You dodge/counter certain attacks by either jumping or using the hammer at the right time. Just watch out because not all enemies can be stomped. If an attack is too hard for you to dodge that you might want to use the Emergency Guard by holding R. It allows you to parry to recive less damage from enemy attacks, but it will not protect you from status effects. The most effective way to learn an enemy's attack patter is with a Boo Biscuit, as it's made specifically for this: it will let you turn invisible for 3 turns and unable to recive damage when attacked at the cost of sacrificing your turn and the ability to damage enemies if you landed a counterattack. You should have a plentifull stock if you have a hard time learning those since they are very cheap at shops
Mario RPGs are finally allowed to have original characters and enemies again
Some are from dream team
I guess you missed Mario+Rabbids.
But haves a lot original characters
Some are from Superstar saga and bowser inside story
POG
I mean some of these we've seen in other games but y'know

I like how the company brought back some of the older enemies from past games and kept their movesets the same with a few additons
I love how the Shy Guys do a mini version of Shy Guys Says as one of their attacks
New enemies after all this time since Paper Jam! Nice.
More like Dream Team. Paper Jam had no original enemies, just vanilla Mario ones.

An enemy video that trims the fat AND still shows how they attack? Excellent work
