Same thing with Shawn in 96. People say his run was one of the worst ever, but you can't sit there with a straight face and tell me Vader, Undertaker or anyone else in the locker room could have competed with the first year of the nWo in WCW. The fact that they drew at all is a testament. At the right time (late 97 to 98 for Shawn) both of those guys were great attractions
A Nash YouShoot would be awesome. Or even better. Guest Booker with Kevin Nash: WCW 1998. I would love to hear what he would have done with the nWo following Starrcade '97 as well as with Sting & Bret Hart. Not to mention the hugely talented midcard guys who would later become legends like Jericho & Guerrero.
i know people give KEVIN NASH shit about his wrestling abilities but as far as storyteller and entertaining people in a commentary he's one of the best, but he still get over the fact that WCW had events at the Maa of America.
He was talking about WCW and the counter was the nWo. The dungeon of Doom Angle was, when Kevin Sullivan was talking to a fat Zombie in a fake cave and every now and then some "new" Heel came out of the cave like The Giant, Earthquake as The Shark. Brutus Beefcake as Zodiak and they tried to end Hulkamania.
@ ViperRob42 I think they maybe referring to why did they go with Mabel as the #1 contender for the WWF championship when he fought Diesel at Summer Slam '95...But they could be referring to him winning King of the Ring.
Well there you have it folks-for those of you who thought Shawn's 1997 "injury" was legit, Nash just confirmed what we all knew. Shawn never "lost his smile" rather he didn't want to return the favour for Bret at Wrestlemania 13. So Bret was right all along in saying Shawn was faking. Shawn should have done the job and wrestled Bret at 13, but I guess we should be a bit thankful because instead we got Bret vs Austin....arguably the greatest Mania match of all time.
It's ironic that he's known for not drawing or being the lowest drawing champ in WWE at one time yet this preview has thr highest views by more than double and in some cases triple that of other kayfabe commentaries previews
I finally figured it out. Does anyone out there EVER remember seeing Kevin Nash work between 12/24 and 12/25? Yeah, that's right. Kevin Nash IS Santa Claus!
Does Nash talk about his match with Undertaker at Wrestlemania , on this DVD . I would like to see what Nash has to say about that match and the Undertaker as a character and Mark Callaway as a real person
There's a clip on YT where he talks about Mark getting pissed that Bret kept bitching about not taking Diesel's finish in a match (where Taker would come out from under the ring and pull him down.)
So wait, when Kevin was talking about Shawn's injury being a work, he meant the knee, right? Not his back? Shawn does have bad knees (the reason he wore those awful tights at the end was to conceal knee braces), but I know he exaggerated it. But I had back surgery and I'll tell you what, there's no way I could have had a single wrestling match in that condition. So with all that his body went through, plus his problems, 4 years seems about right. Can anyone fill me in? Did Nash mean the knee?
I think here they are referring to Shawn's Syracuse bar fight but just used the term "lost his smile" as a way to talk about Shawn's loads of injuries over the years that weren't actually that severe. I believe the 1997 injury was fake too though. But in this situation in 1995 with the bar fight, Shawn used that to get out of working a match with Shane Douglas. Who know's if it was even planned for HBK to put Shane over? Just shows at this time Shawn ONLY wanted to work with Kliq members.
No I'm just saying he was a big part of it. Taker, Bret, Foley, Austin, Goldust...all those guys were busting their asses to try to hold the company together. I didn't mean that no one else could have had his spot, just that I doubt they'd have drawn all that much more.
I'm not sure what he was saying at the end. If the "work bag" that he laid out on the bed was full of his clothes to travel to the next town, then it's profound. But if the "work bag" was full of drugs...then it's fucking hilarious.
You guys should absolutely look into releasing them online sooner (I know you don't want to cannibalize your DVD sales) but look, if I have a choice of buying a DVD, paying a few bucks to stream it, or downloading it "elsewhere" I'll always choose throwing the money toward the company and streaming it. Remove that option and....
Workbag = A piece of luggage, often with wheels and a handle, used by workers to carry their gear and gimmicks. Keot seperate from their "luggage" which contains street clothes and other personal effects.
Hate to burst your bubble, but since this is 1995 and not 1997 and he says Shawn lost his smile "again" I use assume that he is talking about the "injury" that lead to the IC ladder match with Razor at WM 10.
Perhaps some will find this naive but I still believe that Shawn Michaels was legitimately hurt before WM13. I think people like to believe that Michaels faked his injury because it adds even more fuel to the Bret/Shawn rivalry.
God, Nash is hysterical. Love interviews with this guy.
"I guess we had to do something against that fucking Dungeon of Doom angle, which was on fire at the time" had me in stitches
I bought this dvd last year. Its class. I could listen to Nash talk, all day
Regardless of what you think of Kevin Nash as a person or a wrestler; he's a GREAT story teller
This looks epic, can't wait to get mine in the mail!
1:30 is just great.
We'll be launching our OnDemand digital service on 8/28. But we thank you for your business advice and the professional way in which it was presented.
Fuck, Nash says fuckin' "fuck" a fuckin' lot.
Fuck!
5:37-5:59 Hilarious. LOL
BIG D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Kevin blocked me on twitter
...still love him
mate you have made my day, didnt really pay much attention to it but now looking at it I can't stop laughing
"VINCE THERE FUCKIN' TALKIN'
I lost it at the "Vince they're fucking talking" line lol Awesome impression of Vince too
After Ivory for 2001 and Rikishi for 2000, this finally seems like another good choice, like Cornette was for 1997
Haha glad I could help - his face is so hilarious!
These teasers are great!
Kayfabe Commentaries could make bank off a swear jar.
My personal favorite WM match.
Kevin "fuckin" Nash!
In terms of the emotion and the long term effect it had on both mens careers, it certainly was a better match.
Kevin Nash is one of the funniest guys in the business, he's one guy who could probably do stand up as good as a professional comedian
This is an awesome shoot
i corrected his grammar in a tweet sent, and reminded him that PLAY isnt an adjective
@2:35 - 2:47. My GOD man. lol. Kevin Nash, you are officially one of my favorite wrestlers now. XD
KC does it again, i hope that company makes millions
BIG DEEEEEE!
If the OnDemand service didn't launch in 3 days I would order this DVD today. Can't fucking wait to watch this.
This looks great Nash is aways worth watching
love this, Kevin is real, when he brought that up about hbk, i was like, Okay this is legit...
Same thing with Shawn in 96. Does anyone else just sit and stare at the thumbnail for this video and laugh their asses off? Holy shit his face is hilarious

knowing what we know now about the WWF back then its amazing there aren't any more guys dead
you guys working on anything with scott hall or bret hart? BY the way, you guys are doing a great job with these videos! Keep up the good work!
Anyway to purchase this on PPV-internet? Like a 24-72 hour rental?
So its safe to say that the Timeline's of 95 both ECW, and the WWE/F changed the business to this very day.
I gotta get this DVD .
I have to admit busting out laughing pretty hard at "Sean Waltman (legitimate tough guy)"
man, kevin nash is a great story teller
i know people give KEVIN NASH shit about his wrestling abilities but as far as storyteller and entertaining people in a commentary he's one of the best, but he still get over the fact that WCW had events at the Maa of America.

Our website has the DVDs
there is not 1 wrestler in the business that has 1 ounce of respect for this guy.
I clicked on this because of the thumbnail.
He still can't get over the fact that WCW had an event at the Mall of america.
Kevin Nash pulled his quad in the thumbnail before I clicked this vid.
He's talking about the belt.
UA-cam rentals are available for titles after about a year of their release.
Just placed my order!
@ ViperRob42 I think they maybe referring to why did they go with Mabel as the #1 contender for the WWF championship when he fought Diesel at Summer Slam '95...But they could be referring to him winning King of the Ring.

I want to see this. When will this be on UA-cam and will it be the same price as the others?
Of course!
where can we get all these free, the prices they charge are insane, and for some reasons youtube only upload previews or parts with bits missing
Nash in the man.
so another 2/3 months or so until cornettes timeline is available for rental?
SEAN!!!! How much money do you get for making these shoots?
I finally figured it out. Does anyone out there EVER remember seeing Kevin Nash work between 12/24 and 12/25? Yeah, that's right. Kevin Nash IS Santa Claus!
always a great wrestler. super power monster!!
Does Nash talk about his match with Undertaker at Wrestlemania , on this DVD . I would like to see what Nash has to say about that match and the Undertaker as a character and Mark Callaway as a real person

when was this filmed? did he cut his hair again?
This man is the perfect example of someone who can't say a single sentence without saying "fuck" in every one. Gosh dang!
I'd lose my smile too is I had to work an angle with Dean Douglas. Haha.
Kevin Nash is 1 funny dude. This looks awesome. Do you sell 2 people in Britain?
When u guys say these videos are on demand . What do u really mean?
I love Nash!
EVERY TIME HE SAYS "FUCK" HE TEARS HIS QUAD
So wait, when Kevin was talking about Shawn's injury being a work, he meant the knee, right? Not his back?

Can anyone fill me in? Did Nash mean the knee?
What bad wwf angle is nash talking about when he says "I guess we had to do something to counter that dungeon of doom angle"?
What's he talking about when he talks about blood on wall in the hallway ?
some drug-fuelled shenanigans that went on in a hotel involving a rat
due to the camera angle you cant really see it but at some point during this video I heard Nash blew his knee....
a GREAT story Teller and injury prone !
Nash tore his quad after filming this
The Fluffy of shoot interviews.
Nash is sitting for this interview because he just ripped his quad
I think here they are referring to Shawn's Syracuse bar fight but just used the term "lost his smile" as a way to talk about Shawn's loads of injuries over the years that weren't actually that severe. This is some seriously funny shit!! LMAO! A great storyteller...!
he looks so much older than when he came back last year.
1:28 Kev's great man hahaha
A-fucking-men. Finally someone who gets it.
There is NO wrestling taking place. Its all a work. Wrestling ability doesn't matter.
Nash has the best shoots. And the reason why is he doesn't take all the shit seriously.
he's an intelligent guy with his own style
Workbag = A piece of luggage, often with wheels and a handle, used by workers to carry their gear and gimmicks. Keot seperate from their "luggage" which contains street clothes and other personal effects.
Ironic since he said to be in the Kliq you had to love the business.
Nope. Nash says "He lost his smile ONCE AGAIN!". Meaning, it was the second time after first losing his smile, which was against Douglas.
my favourite part of this interview is where he said " fuck "
Indeed
Hate to burst your bubble, but since this is 1995 and not 1997 and he says Shawn lost his smile "again" I use assume that he is talking about the "injury" that lead to the IC ladder match with Razor at WM 10.
Yeah, they should get HBK for the 96 edition, definitely bret for 93 and maybe paul bearer for 94
4:24 - 4:48 LOL
Perhaps some will find this naive but I still believe that Shawn Michaels was legitimately hurt before WM13. I think people like to believe that Michaels faked his injury because it adds even more fuel to the Bret/Shawn rivalry.
As Diesel I hated him but when he was himself in WCW/nWo he was 2nd favourite wrestler to Stone Cold Steve Austin (and the Undertaker)
Come to tna open fight nite ofn
Why what did you say to him?
