i listening this album more a 25 years ago ! this sound is perfect !!! JESUS CHRIST !!!!
This was the most underated band possibly to ever come out in all of music. I bought this CD in a Christian bookstore in 1993, got saved and thru away all my Metallica CD's and tapes afterward. NOVELLA should of been really, really big, but someone dropped the ball and they only made 2 Cd's but wow they were both very good. This was the first one. Likely the best christian metal/rock band ever by far (in my opinion)and it's not even close. It sucks to see artists like this not get supported and never see their just reward. If they had of been on a seculiar label they would of likely been platinum selling artists no joke. Whoever uploaded this thanks!
Jonathon Remington good
Jonathon Remington I did to
You're fucking kidding, right?!
Jonathon Remington
Jonathon Remington your absolutely right brother god bless
Love being with christ Jesus, and he is my ultimate rock! God bless you 🙏
Wore out this cassette. Still sounds amazing after all these years. What a songwriter!
Timeless Album! Might have been released in the early 90's, but STILL holds up as great music in 2019!!
We should ask for a reissue
Cutting edge and still sounds polished and heavy.
2022!
I’m loving listening to Novella after all these years..👍🏽❤️
Never sounded better. Lost my copy, thank God for U- tube.
God bless a really good christian rock band
One the best albums I've ever heard. Thank you!
So you're still young and haven't listened to much music .
Outstanding testimony this band had . . . and it lives on here on YT! Not forgotten, but re-living the blessings of this music long after the band went their own way. God is amazing indeed - His power through many of the great 80's and 90's albums that are available on YT. I seen Novella live at Six Flags St. Louis. A friend and I got a chance to meet the band (it was a smallish concert) and my friend dropped a demo of his own vocals to the lead singer. Great times - all the Christian metal and hard rock bands that were all around in the late 80's and 90's. I would have appreciated it more had I known how soon it would have all went away. Thanks for uploading!!!!
I just bought this!
Yes, I agree what has been written. This band made two great Melodic Metal albums with great songs, totally overseen by the Rock Music scene. Once I heard them first they blew me away. I do not refer to the lyrics but to the music that took me emotionally so strong. The special kind of singing of guitarist Jonathan Pagano is unique and the arrangement and the melodic tension within the songs is so elaborated. Each time I hear these songs my blood runs cold. Amazing...
Blast from the past. We need another CCM renaissance now like we had back then. An explosion of music from every style you could imagine that was original and got the Word out. I have all this stuff on cassette and CD. many many tapes from back then.
88hakusho - I would agree, but I would add that what we really need are Christian artists who are also leaders of their field, i.e. genre shapers, style influencers.... There has been some of that in the past, like Stryper, King's X, Believer, P.O.D., and maybe a few others (possibly Saviour Machine and Tourniquet come to mind), but in general Christian music tends to follow the trends instead of lead them. I think the closest we have now in the music world - at least in hard rock - is Theocracy. As for any others that people want to mention, I suppose they're up for debate....
CCM is around always have been. This s NOT CCM! That is pop music! And things are looking up for some of these bands. The older bands are starting to preform again and there are newer bands ( such as Theocracy) that are great.
check out stuff from Europe... mostly on Ulterium with Theocracy
Darkwater
Harmony
Waken Eyes
Innerwish
Within Silence
Just found this. Had forgotten about it all these years. I had this on a high def cassette for a number of years back in the day. Have never played this one on the drums yet but I will now...
Glory to God, glory to God and His Son Christ Jesus.
I was trying to find this out for a long time. thank you for sharing.
I bought it by e-bay last night, Will get it next monday 28th.
When I lived in Tulsa a local Christian radio station would play the harder stuff after midnight and I remember hearing these guys. Only 2 albums but such quality in the music and lyrics. This would be one of my desert island picks.
Was it KMOD Sundays & Midnight?show called SunLigjt
REISSUE NOW !!!
Great album
Wow I had this album too..👍🏽❤️
EPIK THEN EPIK STILL
This band was riding the very last wave at the tale end of the glam metal era. Their albums are great melodic power house releases. By the time their albums came out in '91 & '92 the Seattle grunge craze was in full swing. I'm not the music for fashion type anyway. The cassette is still in my collection.
Agreed
this album should be re released on cd
Wow this upload is really HIGH QUALITY!!! Sounds like i'm listening to an itunes download in my headphones. Much appreciated :) This album really takes me back. Thank you so much for sharing! Peace.

I really love this band.
They only have two albums and I have it all in cassette before. I still have them till now. Very underrated christian hard rock band.
Love these guys! Have on Cassette. To bad they didn't continue making music. They were really good!
Saw them with Stryper and Bride in like 91 or 92. In Minneapolis. Incredible line up.
Thanks Amber Queen
I love that second song. My goodness that one hits heart… thank you Lord..👍🏽
The first song reminds WINGER a lot!!!
This is in my top 10 of CCM...LOVE THIS!!! Saw them live....WOW!!!
Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
este sí es lo mejor del rock
I caught Novella on the tour for this album at a little coffee shop in Mooresville NC. They played the whole album plus a track that wasn't recorded and ended up with "Over my head" by King's X. Super tight band and nice guys.
First time I'm ever hearing about this band. They seem to have the late 80s early 90s trend metal going on. Sound Quality is good for it's day and age. In those days it was hard to make a tape that sounded good. There really wasn't very many digital recording equipment invented yet. Nowadays.30 years later. A lot of people are doing remastering this year. 2020 I wonder why? HaHa!
It was recorded on 2" tape that sounds awesome. Adam wore headphones and recorded with whatever click track. That was the grid the rest was laid down on.
Waouh! Excellent 🤩
Ripping and, shredding it all, power to spare this band is Epic! OMG they tore it up! Thank you for sharing it here so whenever l need their energy n power to fill my spirit, it's here eh!
I was also surprised by this band AND by the fact that they didn't do more. I mean anything could have happened that we just don't know about. I found out a lot about bands like this during these days. My journey started with a group called Petra way back in like 1982. Then I found David Meece, Bryan Duncan, and others like this. I thought this was THE thing to get me going with this kind of music. It was music about God that wasn't just from the Church Choir, lol. I liked that!
Then came 1987 (for me) and during some down time our class was having, we were allowed to play some music in a boom box that one of my friends had brought in. I was about to here the first CHRISTIAN heavy metal song in my life. The first song was ... To Hell With The devil by Stryper. After that it was all over! I sought out more of this type of music and I found out about so much more over the course of the next few years. I found out about all these bands that sounded like this secular band and one that sounded like that secular band. But I had never heard even the secular bands songs either. Although, I am still looking for a Metallica "sound-a-like" Christian band. Anyone have suggestions? Lol...
Just when I thought the heavy metal music scene couldn't get any better I heard about a band called Deliverance and it was all over! The bar was raised. I still loved Petra as they were my first love. Now I have bands like Tourniquet, Vengeance (before they were Vengeance Rising) Mortification, The Crucified. I couldn't get enough. Metal, rock, speed metal. Had to have it! Every year the Creation festival came around in Pennsylvania I was there and spending more money than anyone there on new cassettes. That's how I found Rage of Angels, Leviticus, Angelica, Mastedon, Halo, Guardian, Bloodgood, Bride, and on and on it goes.
And now, at 51 years old, I STILL rock out in my car when I listen to this stuff on the UA-cams! Lol. I had to sell all my cd's about 15 years ago (about 550 of them by then) and I regret not taking pictures of all of my cd's before selling them all. I am sure I have forgotten a lot of the bands I had in those days. I COMPLETELY lost touch with Stryper, my favorite band, after "Against The Law" came out. I have heard a lot of there new songs since finding a lot of songs available here on YT but I don't even know the order of the albums that came out after Against The Law. *Sigh* So much catching up to do before I die, lol.
Thank you for putting this up.
That's a gold for sure
TOP😃
PENA QUE NÃO GRAVARAM MAIS NADA
Most albums front-load their best few songs. This is different, it just gets better as it goes along.
thanks ... good one..

I remember the intro of the second song
Muito boa banda
This album is really great . I only cheked it track by track recently , after so many years of being an ex christian . it´s really good music . Many people call it AOR , I call it melodic hard´n´heavy . But the second (Liquid Earth) was not of my liking . I had it on CD back in 2001 .
Like my music enjoy my music music comes from GOD.
I was 29 yo when this album was released. My path could have been so different from there....
Better or worse?
2019

I recently listened to this album again after 25 years, and Jonathan Pagano could be compared to Glen Hughes when he sings in the higher range.
Eu gosto melódico sem ser treche e sem ser det
