Could have done with mentioning how to shoot a new rifle in tho and how its done:
1-2 rnds and clean.... repeat 4-5 times
This gets a shine on the inside of the barrel, improving accuracy and life of the barrel

next time make sure that there is an equal gap on both sides of the rings

@@HunterGathererCooking if the distance between the rings at the top and the bottom is not equal, on both sides ,the torque is not distributed correctly on the tube. This can easily crack the scope tube.

Highland Outdoors is the proof distributor. If you ask your local gun shop if they have an account with Highland they can order in the rifle for you!

Is it rude to ask how much the rifle was? Can’t seem to find it on any gun shop site or the wider web
Yes it is 😂 I think they RRP at about £4,200 I could be wrong. I’m looking at some reloaded ammo atm

The Elevation is their entry level, with less options, but the same accuracy guarantee and warranty. In the US, they run $3000 to $3500 or so, sans optics.
Proof Research makes some of the finest barrels and rifles available anywhere, but it is proprietary technology, and you're going to pay for it.
Never heard so much rubbish about only using carbon and copper cleaner until after about 1.000 rounds in a new rifle!🙄
@@nigelbase1196 sounds like cleaning habits are in the same camp as reloading 😂
