don't empty dirty water in your kitchen sink -- pour it into the toilet, just a tip
Good tip...
Don't do that if you have a septic tank
Just to be sustainable ,it makes great coffee .
@@lalaboards🤢🤮
You must don’t clean your sink
Used mine today for the first time and I am amazed at how well it cleaned. Highly recommend
It is pretty awesome!
THANK YOU FOR SUCH A GREAT VIDEO!! I’m a single woman and I absolutely hate to read instructions and you made this journey for me sooo much more easier!! Once again THANK YOU!!!!
I'm here to help, glad I could 😀
Thank you for posting this. I had no idea had to use my carpet cleaner and had all but given up on it. After watching your video, I realized how easy the machine is to use.
Thank you for watching, glad it helped!
What a terrific video!!. I have had this carpet cleaner for about 6 months and hadn't used it. In the mean time the owners manual had gotten lost. This video was easy to watch and to understand...instructions were clear and easy to follow. Thank you for taking the time to cover the "set up" instructions through to cleaning the machine after one is all done shampooing the carpet. BYE...off to shampoo my own carpets now!!!!!
I'm here to help, glad I could. Thank you for watching and commenting 😀
used it for the first time today -- my advice to any future users -- first vacuum your carpet, then pretreat any stains you -- never let carpet stains set-- I did this, and really regret it--fill the machine and work a small area, have extra cleaning solution on hand, the bottle you get will be gone after 3 cycles, let carpet dry, and then vacuum carpet again -- clean and dry your machine where the brush is -- I wiped with a paper towel under there and found lots of wet lint, wipe brush and spin it, prop it up so it can dry, be sure all the water is out of the handle etc, let tanks dry, reassemble and store, got great results
Great advice
This is thr best review video I have found, from opening the box, assemble and use. Didn't skip a step. Thank you.
Thank you 😀
This was a great explanation! I had no clue how to do this but now I do, this video was so helpful!
Glad it was helpful 😀 Thank you for watching and commenting
Sure was!!!
have extra cleaning solution on hand, vac. rug before you start, and again after it dries
I have used these machines for some years. In different homes and business. Sir, yours is one of the cleanest carpet I have ever seen!!! You produced milk. In my experience they were ALWAYS chocolate milk, dark chocolate!
We do maintain our carpets, but I was actually surprised at the soil level actually. But this was more an operational video but thank you for watching and commenting 😀
Had mine in box for so long thanks you make it easy to use

Thanks for the informative video. As a no-shoes-in-the-house household without kids or large pets, I’m still always amazed the messes that accumulate on the floor/carpets. I’m rather clumsy and tend to knock things over and spill things from time to time. 🤦🏻♂️ I can’t imagine how much worse it would be with kids, large pets or shoes worn on the carpets.
Pets and kids are dirt magnets 😆
Thanks for the assembly and vacuum demonstration!
Thank you for watching and commenting
I bought one, and its been sitting for weeks. Now, I can use it.
It is pretty awesome 😀
I was looking for how to clean the brush after the washing is done but still you show very well how to use the carpet cleaner...thank you.
Thank you

@@GarageMahalLife you’re welcome and Thankyou 😊😊
Thanks for the excellent video, Brian. Is it difficult to use on carpeted stairs?
Excellent question, it would be a little clumsy to use... more so rooms vs. Stairs. Thank you for asking and watching 😀
I like this ! Is it only for carpets🤔 can it be used on tile floors??
Mainly for just carpets, but look at this one first regular flooring, I have this one too and love it amzn.to/3wsrW8R
Thanks for posting good detailed information. But , can u help more , how water spreads and how it sucks back ? I am not sure how to do that?
Push forward and push the sprayer trigger, then slowly backwards to suck the water up.
Your video is wonderful and helps us a lot. I have a question, I did exactly as you said and dried it 3 times, but my carpet got really stinky. What should I do? Is there a product we should buy to get rid of the bad smell? I bought PET PRO
Sometimes carpets can be dirtier than you think and have bacteria, Give it a shot of rubbing alcohol into the tank when cleaning, just make sure you are in good ventilation or a fan to help circulation of fresh air and to help dry it faster in these cases.
Brought one it works good.
I love them!
I just bought this one, the motor in my old bissel is going bad after 3 years, sounds like a metal sound.
You made a good choice 😀
I absolutely love mine it does a great job! But mine is brand new and I can't get it to suck the water back out. I have emptied the dirty water tank, cleaned the red filter and still can't figure out why it won't suck the water out. Any tips?
Check the front Suction port. The clear area, if you have a lot of hair, sometimes the up port gets clogged. It can be removed or even a small section of wire can be pushed up there to clear the blockage, kind of easy if that all makes sense.
I’m having issues with the water tank. It doesn’t snap in like yours. This is brand new from Amazon as of 2 days ago. When I slide the water tank in and press down, it doesn’t snap. It’s very loose. When you snap yours in, is it loose and comes right off or is it snug?
It is a bit snug, any packing tape in the way? Perhaps wet the rubber seals a bit and see if that helps.
Very helpful! But do you know why when I lifted the dirty water tank up, water came out? Like a good amount back onto my carpet...I had to turn it up quickly
Yes, you probably have some dirt or debris caught in the Suction port, clean the underside and vacuum side is clear.
Also, the ring on the bottom of your dirty water tank could have not been tightened enough. Make sure it’s fully tightened before use
Does it have a tangle free brush roll for long hair?
It does a good job avoiding tangles for the most part. We have long hair dogs and it did get a few tangled. But not like a regular vacuum.
Should I vacuum the floor first and then do the carpet cleaner.
With any carpet cleaning, yes, vac first and then use the carpet cleaner for best results.
My carpet isn’t getting wet when going forward. Any tips?
I would pull out the water container and make sure it is seated properly. Start on a tile floor to see if the liquid is coming g out before you try it on the carpet.
Hi..i have a question..i used it for the first time follow the steps but the next day the carpet was smelly do i have to put a fan to help the drying process?
So in this case, I would redo that area and do an extra dry pass... sometimes with deeper carpets or shaggy an extra dry stroke is needed. Fans also will help dry the carpet faster. Sometimes if I have a room with a lot of pet activity, I will even do 2 or 3 dry passes...
@@GarageMahalLife thanks a lot appreciate the quick response I will definitely do so
I can't figure out how to attach those latches to dirty water tank. What's the secret?
Just gently push the tank down and snap the plastic clamps into place... pretty easy. Did you remove the packing cardboard?
Thank you just purchased ..using it tomorrow....but is the carpet wet? Or semi wet? Or more dry slightly wet? Thanks
Ot will leave it damp, not wet. However you can do an extra dry stroke to get it dryer...
@@GarageMahalLife Thanks yeah used it today and love it.. 😲 wow factor for me🤣🌟Thanks for answering 👏👏😃
Running a portable fan on it helps alot.
How do you do the drying method
Extra drying passes with no trigger
how long does it take carpet to dry out?
With 1 dry pass completely dry in about 6 to 8 hours, and I mean it is damp, not soaking. 2 dry passes in a few hours. It is never soaking, but damp. I did a 3rd pass on a carpet and noticed it was dry in about 2 hours.
how many sq. feet can you do on one tank of water and soap? I think it should do ten by ten room
All depends on the soil level, I used 1 tank on a 10x12 and it used 1 tank. I then had a rental that needed cleaning and I used 2 tanks per room.. . It was soiled pretty good. Bit overall does a good job.
It took me several tankfuls to do one carpet, otherwise it just doesn't get clean. Then I did a rinse pass of course. And the dirty water tank needed emptying out every few minutes which required turning the machine on and off constantly. If you don't empty it the machine leaks bigtime out of the front. After 2 hours of use the motor burnt out and smelled so bad it had me running for my fire extinguisher. This is crap if you ask me.
Does the bottom plastic piece come off to clean in the brush and stuff? I got one of these the other day
Post a pic, I'm not sure what piece you mean, but it all is pretty easy to take a part and clean.
Where the nozzle goes on there's a tiny hole about size of my pinky. It's full of "sand" I don't know how to clean that. :/
Figured it out...I think. It isn't as deep as I thought. I used a q tip..i then sprayed water in it and turned it on side. The other bottom nozzle piece..I dunno. I'm borrowing I don't wanna break it. So I'm leaving it.
@@eyesonyourownpaper2276 Sounds good, I think... :)
The only question I had was.. when you squeeze the button you release water when you don’t the vacuum sucks the water RIGHT?? So you could go over it several times with the hot water and then release the button and then vacuum takes over??
Correct
@@GarageMahalLife ok thank you
Where the clean water tank goes and snaps into place, there is a grey rubber gasket that is preventing the clean water tank from inserting. What do I do?
It's a snug fit when new, but it should slip in with a little bit of pressure.
@@GarageMahalLife
Bissell must have sent the wrong clean water tank. There is no way the red gasket on the tank will go into the grey gasket on the machine. Is that what you have, i.e are there red and grey gaskets?
Thanks!
@@GarageMahalLife
Hi
Sorry to bother you, but when you remove the clean water tank with the red gasket, is there a grey gasket in the hole where the red gasket went?
Thanks!
I was watching a man remodel a duplex. One plex had a dog the other didn't. When they removed the carpet the hardwood floors in the house with the dog was ruined. The other was pristine. Animals in your home is gruesome.
Gruesome? That's a bit strong. 😳
Just used mine tonight but concerned on dry time? Granted my apartment is old + gross animals but I wonder if I need to run it several different times or will that just cause dampness to build up
Just make sure you do an extra slow dry pass...
@@GarageMahalLife thank you, yes I tried to take it slowly and it seems to have dried well
@@EmilyEmilyEmily01 Awesome! 😀
I would pretreat carpet with stain remover, let it soak in for 5 min. if you have any really nasty spots
Good advice 😀
This has to be a video from the early 2000s. The furniture, the leather phone holster on his hip....
New furniture and phone holster, I identify being from the early 2000s 😉
All carpet cleaners should be equal, why have one just for pets, the kids and adults waste everything on carpets. They are targeting pet owners.
It has more to do with the pet hair than anything. But yes, one machine that is priced right that does it all...
Video proof that we men do NOT need instructions to assemble anything.
Right, 😆 🤣
i would recommend people try out cheap $120 people with nasty carpet like me
It does a great job
@@GarageMahalLife i know because have one too
Cleans spotless carpet
"This how your carpet looks when its done"
Like damp carpet.
That was the point, it was a clean looking carpet, but did you see how dirty the water actually was? And the amount of water extracted was great. Carpet was dry in about 1 hour...
Thank you
