    What a terrific video!!. I have had this carpet cleaner for about 6 months and hadn't used it. In the mean time the owners manual had gotten lost. This video was easy to watch and to understand...instructions were clear and easy to follow. Thank you for taking the time to cover the "set up" instructions through to cleaning the machine after one is all done shampooing the carpet. BYE...off to shampoo my own carpets now!!!!!

    used it for the first time today -- my advice to any future users -- first vacuum your carpet, then pretreat any stains you -- never let carpet stains set-- I did this, and really regret it--fill the machine and work a small area, have extra cleaning solution on hand, the bottle you get will be gone after 3 cycles, let carpet dry, and then vacuum carpet again -- clean and dry your machine where the brush is -- I wiped with a paper towel under there and found lots of wet lint, wipe brush and spin it, prop it up so it can dry, be sure all the water is out of the handle etc, let tanks dry, reassemble and store, got great results

    Thanks for the informative video. As a no-shoes-in-the-house household without kids or large pets, I’m still always amazed the messes that accumulate on the floor/carpets. I’m rather clumsy and tend to knock things over and spill things from time to time. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I can’t imagine how much worse it would be with kids, large pets or shoes worn on the carpets.

      Sometimes carpets can be dirtier than you think and have bacteria, Give it a shot of rubbing alcohol into the tank when cleaning, just make sure you are in good ventilation or a fan to help circulation of fresh air and to help dry it faster in these cases.

    • @GarageMahalLife
      @GarageMahalLife  Рік тому

      Check the front Suction port. The clear area, if you have a lot of hair, sometimes the up port gets clogged. It can be removed or even a small section of wire can be pushed up there to clear the blockage, kind of easy if that all makes sense.

  • @ecopro_x

    I’m having issues with the water tank. It doesn’t snap in like yours. This is brand new from Amazon as of 2 days ago. When I slide the water tank in and press down, it doesn’t snap. It’s very loose. When you snap yours in, is it loose and comes right off or is it snug?

    • @GarageMahalLife

      It is a bit snug, any packing tape in the way? Perhaps wet the rubber seals a bit and see if that helps.

    • @GarageMahalLife
      @GarageMahalLife  Рік тому

      So in this case, I would redo that area and do an extra dry pass... sometimes with deeper carpets or shaggy an extra dry stroke is needed. Fans also will help dry the carpet faster. Sometimes if I have a room with a lot of pet activity, I will even do 2 or 3 dry passes...

      With 1 dry pass completely dry in about 6 to 8 hours, and I mean it is damp, not soaking. 2 dry passes in a few hours. It is never soaking, but damp. I did a 3rd pass on a carpet and noticed it was dry in about 2 hours.

    how many sq. feet can you do on one tank of water and soap? I think it should do ten by ten room

    • @GarageMahalLife
      @GarageMahalLife  2 роки тому

      All depends on the soil level, I used 1 tank on a 10x12 and it used 1 tank. I then had a rental that needed cleaning and I used 2 tanks per room.. . It was soiled pretty good. Bit overall does a good job.

    • @Ozworldz
      @Ozworldz Рік тому

      It took me several tankfuls to do one carpet, otherwise it just doesn't get clean. Then I did a rinse pass of course. And the dirty water tank needed emptying out every few minutes which required turning the machine on and off constantly. If you don't empty it the machine leaks bigtime out of the front. After 2 hours of use the motor burnt out and smelled so bad it had me running for my fire extinguisher. This is crap if you ask me.
