Amy Averill Considering the markings (which are almost exact to the markings on an arcanine - both in placement and shape) and the cream colored fur placement, I'm going to say - yes, that's supposed to be an arcanine. I've already got my costume (not a fursuit, a plague doctor outfit, because why not) and everything together. Now all I need to do is arrange for the transportation, accommodation, etc

You can accomplish the same end result with any of the professional level NLEs. It's mainly a question of which user interface and editing style you prefer. FCPX fits the work I do best.
FC occurs every January in San Jose. Google "further confusion".

I am not gonna lie, about a third through this video, I was getting honestly worried none of the furries were gonna get any candy. lol. XD....Had that happened, I was going to ask,'Who can I write to about this?' :D

Mostly because quad suits are hard to make and so Beastcub of Sacramento is one of the few fursuit makers willing to make quads!!! That and FC is so really cool!!! *roar*

For now, I just shoot lots of video and stills at cons. I'll be fursuiting in the future though. The challenge will then be if I can operate a camera while in suit. ;-)

At furry cons, people generally prefer to create their own characters. You'll generally find more Pokemon characters at an anime convention.

There seem to be more quad suits at Further Confusion than just about any other furry con I'm familiar with. Not sure why that is. Maybe it's a west coast thing. :-) Anyway, glad you liked the video!

If price is a concern, then you should look into getting a partial suit (head, paws and tail). Search google for "list of fursuit makers" to find people who make custom suits. Look on ebay as well since there are always full and partial suits for sale.

It's a good deal of work but there are lots of instructions online. Google search for "how to make a fursuit" and similar such terms.
Check out ConFuzzled in England. Next one is in May.
