Thanks Terry great advice on keeping up with jobs that need doing. I was demotivated last week when my bench was stolen within 10 days of building it. I try to do something at the plot everyday but it is getting difficult now the evenings are drawing in. Your plot always gives me ideas of what I want to aim for so thanks Terry and take care.
@@terrykingsallotmentgardening Definitely and I want everything ready for what will be my first spring on the allotment so need to crack on. On the positive side I have nowhere to sit now so can't take a break from time to time. Lol. X
Looking great Terry you have lots going on even in this cold wet weather. Sad about the trees but you take it in stride and move on with a new project 👍👍. Hope you both have a fantastic week keep warm 🐝 safe
You've really done a noticeable, good job on the weeds. I didn't realize how much asparagus you have growing. Nice! Lots of collected materials handy as always. Leaf mold month and spicy treats for the rats hahah! Great stuff. Take care Terry 🙂
That’s the thing that I love about gardening, there’s always a list of things to get done. ✅ You’re super organized my friend… I’m a little behind especially in my row garden… 👩🏽🌾🥬🧄🧅🌱
You seem to be keeping up with it quite nicely and everything will be settling down soon and moving much slower So you can really take charge and conquer it all
i bought 3 x 160 litre reuseable bags to fill with leaves. the wife went nuts when i wanted more. she reckons i'm trying to turn the garden into an allotment. lol. i'll get my own back next year. can't wait to see her face when she finds veg growing between her flowers. she found a butternut squash this year but thought it was a flowering plant because it never produced fruit. if ther insects don't attack the seedlings i'll be getting up to all sorts of mischief next year. all will be filmed. lol.....................brian
Go to work in the dark and come back in the dark so only weekends now my friend and it has been so wet recently, looking forward to getting something done. ♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.
Nice find Terry, perfect for protecting the strawberries. I'd be interested to know if you find many roots from your neighbor's Palm tree in the leaf mold bins when you take everything out !! Great to hear you got your MOJO back Terry!! Cheers J&C 🌱👑🌱
The roots from the holly hedge were in the bin last year, everything is wet through at the moment so no progress with some jobs and decorating at the weekend, collecting some pallet collars today which is always a bonus to put a smile on my face. 😁. ♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.
Could you beg, borrow, hire a wood chipper and put your fruit trees through, less burning and chips for the paths? Have you asked local tree surgeons if they want to dispose of wood chips on your plot?
I need to get a few more jobs done before I ring the local tree surgeons, need to get my leaf mould done and the leaves collected, 2 bags done only 23 left to get. ♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.
We are in North Warwickshire Julie, not sure of the zone, but it is wet and cold during the winter months. Thank you for taking the time to comment. ♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.
Thanks for showing us around the allotments and growing spaces, Terry. Lots of Veg still left for those Winter stews, I'd say. Lot of work done. 🪴Happy Gardening🪴

Another very enjoyable tour of your play terry, and its looking good! Do you periodically turn your leaf mould as we do with compost?
No I don't at the moment, but when I have more time I will so for now just every 12 months.
