Yes, that may be true in some cases. Yes, things can be a holy grail for someone and not work for the next person, that is normal. BUT… We all have expressed to Taylor before, about how so many of us as females appreciate and relate to her input on makeup & skincare products. Women may not be exactly the same but we’re very similar when it comes to this stuff..🥰

I really love the way that you filmed/edited this video - Talking about the product in the present and splicing in clips from applying it beforehand. I've really enjoyed how you've been mixing it up a bit in recent videos -like the full voiceover video outside and using a variety of filming locations throughout your apt. The sprayer for the Wet N Wild setting spray is top notch. When I need a travel size, it's perfect. I even pour in my All Nighter just to use that sprayer.
my only disappointment with that wet n wild spray is the coloured lid doesn't stay on 🤣🤣 but it's not a big issue. i'll be sure to save the bottle for my ud all nighter too, thanks for the idea haha

The loreal single shadow in pan eau chocolate is a beautiful taupe that I can just use as a one and done eye look. It's my favorite "natural" looking eyeshadow out there.
I'd love to see a high end one like this! And I have the L'Oreal eyeshadow on noir and it's such an amazing black for lining

It's not just Essence. Products seeem that get just one 'edition' when they sold out they're done. Tehy are forcing you to buy new stuff all the time, which I dont like because a lot of money gets wasted that way.
Right?? Remember their dropper concealer?? Everyone LOVED that and UA-camrs raved about it and then : POOF: GONE. Makes no sense...
Years ago i found my perfect nude pink lipstick from essence- perfect formula, wear, everything. Got my hands on one tube and i've never seen another one again. Every time I go to a Shoppers I always check to see if they have it... 6 years later lol.

The Flower Light Illusion powder is amazing for setting undereyes.. I am 52 yrs old and it blurs and sets my concealer beautifully ..

The Essence highlighter is by far one of my favorites! I have the false effects mascara on right now, I really like it for the price but it sometimes flakes on me.
I would like to see a video listing high end and luxury products that ARE worth the high price tag. i think that would b helpful like this 1 is too. I did try the Elf mint primer and i liked it. I also like the newer Milani pumping glosses. They give that tingling feeling 4 hours.
Agree ,the elf primer is sticky but I have a hard time keeping foundation on my nose and it helps a lot! That lash princess mascara is my favorite too!

Amen! There’s no need for ANY animal to suffer just so I can put makeup on my face! I’ve been clearing out all my makeup that isn’t cruelty free...unfortunately losing money, but that’s ok. I bought the makeup revolution highlighter after your recommendation and I freaking LOVE it. Definitely performs better than most high end powder highlights.

I have heard that the Flower foundation is a dupe for the CT foundation. I have both and I agree with that statement. One of the things I love about your Chanel is you tell us about things that don’t cost an arm and a leg LOL you may have to be older to have heard that, but I feel the cosmetic business makes a small fortune off of people. We hear about products and of course we want what works. I don’t know if you have tried this new Apple foundation but as Angie from Hot & Flash said she didn’t want to like it but she loved it so I bought it and it is awesome! When you compare the amount you are getting it is expensive but it takes a very very little bit to get the coverage. Thanks 😊

It's amazing how good drugstore makeup it now. I'm older, and I remember how much better high end makeup used to be. My current makeup collection is 100% based on everything I have learned from you over the years. And so much of it is NOW from the drugstore😃 LOVE this video!
8:04 I used this primer for my drive thru graduation. It was so hot 🥵, but this primer kept all my makeup in place! I’ve never used a gripping primer before. It was great!

Thank you, Taylor, for the Loreal eye shadows. Little Taupe Dress is the perfect shade for my everyday transition shade, it lasts all day, blends easily, and is better than most of my high end shadow formulas, including Natasha Denona. Loreal does make some very good shadows, and they just don't get enough attention (of course, that's not a bad thing, because that way I can still find them without them being sold out all of the time.) Jessica Braun also got me hooked on the shadow Loreal Infallible in Amber Rush, which is awesome for a one and done color, and I just bought the Bronzed Taupe in that same formula. These last all day and are effortless.
The clean fresh powders are sooo good. I swear it looks better and better the longer it’s on the skin. I have dry skin with certain dry patches around my forehead/nose/mouth area. The clean fresh powder is just beautiful.

I love the elf mint melt primer! I use it daily because I have to wear a mask at work! And let me tell you it grips the foundation beautifully and keeps my make up on! Doesn’t move! I put it on my nose, chin works perfect! Love this video! 😃

I personally love the L’Oréal Lumi Primer is my Ultimate Glow Primer just wish it came in a bigger bottle.

I use it for glow on bare skin, beneath base products, as a liquid highlighter, AND for lightening other liquid products (CT's Flawless Filter, etc.), like a shimmery white mixer. I was told it was being discontinued years ago, so I bought 4 of them, but thank God that wasn't the case. Becca discontinued their Pearl liquid illuminator, & I think MAC IS discontinuing their Silverlight Strobe Cream, it went on clearance on their site & hasn't come back, so I'm SO glad to have L'oreal's.

The essence pure nude highlighter is my holy grail. I’ve gotten so many people on it of all ages. I use it with a huge fluffy brush and hit the high points then blend out all over the face with what’s left on the brush. I think it’s a straight up dupe for the hourglass powders. GET IT !
Taylor, if you haven't, you need to try the revolution brow gel, new holy grail. It's black with a rose gold 'lid' I think the dark brown color would match you very well, it's just in between coolness and warmth just perfect. It's super pigmented you need to wipe it off before you use it and use it at the tail where you would like more pigment first but it's worth it in my opinion. You can actually shape your eyebrows amazing with it and the brush is pretty tiny. I'm in love 😍 and I don't know how but it adds volume to your brows and makes the look full and fluffy

Taylor, please try the Revolution Conceal and Hydrate concealer. Coverage is outstanding. Never have to powder. No creasing. I use the Essence Nude highlighter as a finishing powder.
Those elf bite size mini palettes are just amazing. I have so many of them, and they are all so good. Last along time, good color payoff. I love them

hi taylor, i agree that some drugstore is better than high end. maybelline lifter gloss is one of my favorites. TFS
The elf primer is also good if you mix it with a gel moisturizer. I do that most days, so it's not quite as tacky and sets down more quickly. It also mixes well with most of my other primers. I don't use a lot of silicone-based primers, but I've mixed it with almost everything else and it's great.
I love getting to see you use these products and talking about them in the voiceover! I can’t get away with the Essence highlighter, but love the Elf quads and bronzer!

I just loved this video. I have bought 3 high end makeup products in all my years watching UA-cam. The Naked 2 palette, which I still use. And the IT cc cream and Superhero mascara. Both the IT products were such huge fails for me I decided to just stick w my drugstore jams. Rimmel stay matte powder, Olay sensitive moisturizer, almost all Loreal mascaras and Maybelline Fit Me concealer.
No7 is amazing. Their Lift and Luminate pressed powder has a blurred effect. Their mascara is so good (360). They have amazing powder bronzer too. Plus Walgreens will have sales often.
Really want to try the CP quads and the L’Oréal singles!!!!! Great recommendations as always❣️❤️👍🏼

Thanks for making this video! Always love hearing your product recommendations, especially drugstore. If you haven't tried them, the Milani and Nyx brow pens are awesome. I think the Milani has slightly better pigmentation and a slightly finer tip, but Nyx definitely has a wider shade range.

I used to get so frustrated at the butter bronzer looking orange on me because everyone loved it and finally tried that one. I will never go back! Your product recommendations have always worked so well for me so I’m excited to give a few of these a try soon

The Hard Candy Sheer Envy Hydrating Primer is another fantastic gripping primer. You can only get Hard Candy at Walmart or online, but it’s a dollar cheaper then the ELF one and bonus if scents irritate your skin doesn’t have the mint scent/menthol cooling feel.
I had to mix that flower beauty foundation with my hydro maniac bb cream by urban decay, for shade reasons, and the finish was magnificent! Glow was real!
I LOVE THAT REVOLUTION HIGHLIGHT SO MUCH ✨ 😍 IT'S SO STUNNING I don't feel as pretty when I use my other highlighters

I just got the kokie sponge in my Ipsy and I love it!! My 2nd favorite sponge is the wet n wild sponge tho it’s also a great drugstore sponge. I’ve never used the original beauty blender.

I now buy 97% drugstore makeup. I’ve been the girl who bought high end/brand name thinking paying more hot me better quality. About 4-5 years ago I started trying recommended products from you, Jessica Braun, Emily Noel, Andrea Matilliano and haven’t had a single reason to go back. IMO I haven’t had a single need to buy high end.

I discovered the Loreal shadow singles from Emily Noel long ago. They definitely rival Lancome, Dior, etc. Wish they'd release more shades

I love your channel and I just want to leave a loving suggestion, but have you tried wearing a cool-tone makeup look? I think those tones would be most flattering on you with your fair complexion, dark hair, and blue eyes.
