- The 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is not only a beauty to look at, but a monster under the fairings!
This new model brings on a huge upgrade, and that is that the engine has been upgraded from the V4 Granturismo engine, to the engine found in the Streetfighter V4.
This means there is a lot more power to be found.
Good looks, and great power means this bike caught our eye and is deserving of a full review, so here it is!

@650ib 's Multistrada V4 RS is an absolute beauty! 😁
Do you want to see us tackle a similar bike? 👀
Ducati is the only manufacturer who I think comes close to their claimed HP figures when it comes to dyno testing. i am no expert, just something I've observed watching dyno videos.
I'm glad you enjoyed the RS! It's such a great bike and at 181HP, it's a BEAST!
Great video. What RPM is the torque actually starting at? What is the peak torque? On the video it shown 168mph. A well-turned Pikes Peak will go the same speed.
I love the look of this RS. However, I’m sticking to the pikes peak. Love it!!!
Good choice!
The multistrada is one of my favorite types of bikes period. I saw a pikes peak out in the wild and it blew me away. I will have one of these one day.
This is a good break down of the multistrada. A lot of good info on it.
Makes me want one more and more.
Thank you for watching and commenting. Such an awesome and unique bike!
22 Multi V4S here. Im a devil deamon on it. Ive done 5 dirt/rock off road trails 3 off road camps, one cross country tour, many state tours, the police hate me my max has been them sending 8 after me in one go w/ me spanking them all. V max is 160mph on level ground w/ a 180lb rider so that's your limit. I just put money down for the RS and test rode the bike I'm taking delivery of and its my type of bike 😈👹
For the $, I am more than happy with my '22 MTS V4 PP. It was $29K MSRP, (vs, what, $37k MSRP for the RS?) and does everything I want with its wet-clutch and traditional valvetrain. I have the Akra Race Ti exhaust w/UpMap, and it has all the power I'll ever need, and it is the best handling bike I have ever owned. The latest ECU updates to the Q/S have muted the backfire through the exhaust on upshift, but that's not the worst thing in the world.
VS. a BMW M1000XR needs to happen.
M1000XR would have been broken before the end of the day.
I'm in Love with that RS and would give my right arm for one 😊 ,,, I'll have to settle for something more in budget like your cool jacket Mani , where did it come from .....
Love the video ❤
What A Machine ❤
It is indeed very impressive!
@@Motomillion well said 🥰
The entry level like mine V4S with full akropovic is best bang for you dollar.
Do you think the carbon wheels made a difference in the HP rating on the Dyno?
What they fail to tell you is that dry clutch will burn up in about 3-4k miles and they are far from a cheap replacement.
It is actually fairly cost effective to replace. The clutches are under $300, and the clutch being exposed, make it less than an hour of work to replace it. For a $40K motorcycle, I think this is pretty affordable.
I own a 2010 Streetfighter S with a dry clutch. 40,000 miles and it’s still the original clutch.
@@brucefolkmann6990 That I find hard to believe. Even Ducati will tell you they only last a few thousand miles and that's if you take it easy on them. The amount of heat that's built up vs a wet clutch burns them out much faster.
Mine is also fine..
@@live2share I have no reason to exaggerate. I’ve owned the bike since it had 900 miles on it. I also like the quick engagement of a dry clutch. They don’t heat up once engaged.
There are some vids multistrada caught on fire while riding.hope this models have no issues anymore ✌️
Why read articles, when you can listen to the expert demo it for you! If a man is in the market for a Multistrada V4 RS, a man must watch this video! Believe me you!
Thank you

I have a Pikes Peak V4 with full Akra exhaust and map. I don't think its anywhere close to 180-185 at the wheel horsepower. Are the 2024 RS a different map or tune than last year ? I guess also the gearing is lower in the rear with slightly larger sprocket? Thanks for your content @ Motomillion.
This is a V4 RS, has a different engine than the Pikes Peak. Pikes Peak has the V4 Granturismo engine, this has the V4 Desmsedici Stradale engine.
My 2021 Multi V4S made 161hp at the rear wheel with the factory Akrapovic Race Exhaust and Evo Tune. Of course that's a different Dyno. But the V4S has a fat power curve so it really doesn't feel much slower than the 2024 Multi RS (I have both bikes).
@@turvovo Good point. I am trying to rationalize keeping my PP vs RS. Yours is the logic for me--mid-level torque vs top-end power: Who would win in say a in-gear roll-on in 4th or 5th from say 3500 RPM cruise to say 120 MPH? I also added a OFT re-map which gets rid of most of the dead-throttle feel at partial throttle where it is definitely restricted for liability I presume. My dyno was 159 RWHP. Some say the RS being geared down takes care of torque roll-ons.
@@tomtraynor5384 Having put some miles on the RS with the EVO tune and exhaust I must say it's easily 20hp more than the Granturismo motor and definitely noticeable especially at higher speeds. If I had a PP however I'm note sure I'm spend the money on an RS unless I was racing or doing a lot of track days. The PP is plenty fast and the Ohlins suspension is the big improvement on these bikes performance wise which both PP and RS have.
My UA-cam airplay dispay should say “ADD” in the upper left corner.
Add what?
Dynoed it with just 100. miles? isn't that a no-no, till broken in?
Thanks for the great review! Even the regular Multistrada V4S is a blast. I'm such a fan I have both the V4S and the RS. Poor me. Here is a fun video of the Multistrada V4S racing a hill climb competition: ua-cam.com/video/qnPwddRpUag/v-deo.htmlsi=zfVAt-ohut2JS7yu
Why did the bike need to be restarted at the traffic light?
I stalled it.
