The issue I see with the holes being drilled so close to the corners is not a lot of concrete will be put between the corner edge and the rebar. Other than that it will be very solid.
Agreed... which is why, first we advise staying at least 1.5 to 2 inches from the edge , and secondly it's the primary reason we use epoxy and rebar so there's no mechanical fastener that relies on extreme pressure in utilizing a bracket or otherwise.
That was done right I got the exact same hammer drill it works great have it over five years
