Could you please explain, why you refer to headphones as 'they' in your answers to 1 and 3 questions but use 'it' while answering the 2 question? Thanks)

Question 1: "Headphones" is typically used in its plural form since it refers to a pair of earphones. Therefore, I used "they" to indicate the plural nature of the object.
Question 2: In the second question, "headphone jack" is considered as a single component or item, which is why "it" was used to refer to this singular entity.
Question 3: Similar to the first question, when referring to multiple headphones, "they" is used to maintain consistency with the plural form.
