Plum Cake - Yeast Cake Recipe
Ingredients :
300g cake flour
5 tbsp sugar + extra to sprinkle before baking
2 tsp instant dry yeast
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp Vanilla sugar (1/2 tsp vanilla extract)
1 large egg
1 cup milk, room temperature.
5 tbsp unsalted butter
Powdered sugar for dusting
Plums for topping.
5 - 6 red plums, ripe but still firm, cut into wedges.
Powdered sugar to sprinkle the cake
Whipped cream/ice cream/yogurt to serve
Pan size: 26 x 30 x 3 cm.
Baking time: 25 minutes
The Baking temperature is 180°C in a preheated oven, with upper and lower heat-middle rack.

Hi Ninik, I love Plum cake. I use my mother's recipe which is different from yours. Mine does not have yeast, has sour cream and different plums. Yours looks delicious too. It might be easier to find your plums then mine. If I don't hit the farmers market at the right time I can't get my plums here in Pa. and every year it changes when they're in. Thanks for sharing.
