I like Steve Darnell , cause he's a weldor like me. We use welders to melt steel, or aluminium , into functional art, or at least engineered structure. Most agree that welding requires at least some artistic craft just to produce quality welds. Some people never get really good st it . other's work is effortlessly beautiful, either in the technical welding quality, or in the creative structure, or sculpture, if you will, separating welding from building with creative talent, to some degree. I am a very skilled weldor so I spent lots of time fixing other people's welds, not leaving any fuckups behind for the x-ray to find. Now there's robots to do perfect work for most manufacturers. Anyway this guy is so familiar, I feel like I worked with him, or went to school with him, but maybe it's the welding? Sometimes I feel like peas in a pod. Tripolar out.
