A Day In the Life of A Fulani Herdsman

  • In the last 8years, many of the killings and kidnappings that happened in Northern Nigeria were attributed to Fulani herdsmen.
    Despite this not all Fulani herdsmen are bandits.

    Wow... so your in Sardauna my LGA, I'm also a Fulani from sardauna, and there in Sardauna we fulanis have enough land to graze our cattles and instead of ranching cattles that moves from one place to another, we usually do it the other way round by ranching our farm land in other to make it impossible for a cow to inter the farm. And we also have our own farms dough we don't do the farming but others does it for us to get paid or get a share of the farm products once havested, and just like my brother said we don't graze on someones farm, unless in the dry season when everyone has cultivate and havested his or her farm products, also if mistakenly our cattles intered and destroyed someones farm we usually go and inspect the level of damage done to the farm, and compansate the farm owner according to how much you are able to negotiate with the farmer. Sardauna Is a beautiful and peaceful place to be, if not for the incompetent government we are having in Taraba state over the years sardauna would have been a great touristhub of this nation Nigeria.. anyways bro kudos to you for this video I wishes u safe journey as u goes around enjoy the cool weather 🤘

    • @DavidNkwa
      @DavidNkwa  Рік тому +1

      It's really nice to see an indigene comment
      My observations is that Fulani in Sandauna seems to be very much educated, understanding and more friendly than others I have seen, this is good.
      Ranching a farm? That's new to me and also. Good strategy to avoid herders farmers issues. Understanding is everything really.
      Yes Manbilla pleteau needs lots of development for tourism and farming the weather and landscape is breathtaking.unfortunatly after going through the bad road and the long distance am not sure anyone will want to make that trip twice.
      No investor will even want to invest in tourism there except there is a functional airport and road infrastructure.
      Unfortunately even the airport in Jalingo is not functioning well, no much traffic, only one airline with limited flights.
      So a Smart governor should build a cargo airport in Manbilla where good can be exported out from there, that will get more traffic and additionally you can have passagers port as well.

    • @sanitto1
      @sanitto1 Рік тому

      I agree with you Sir 🥂 Sardauna LGA really lack developmental projects, there's no Government presence at all, and our Roads are terrible for motorist..

    The government should know that veterinary hospitals around Fulani herdsmen settlement is an investment... It will help to resolve the constant clashes, plus the hospitals can feature agric extension officers that would be very useful in conflict resolution... I wish Nigerian politicians are less used to this medieval system of politicking and actually see politics as a means to governing the people...

    As you are whipping up empathy for Fulani Herdsmen, you also need to document a video on the hundreds of thousands of Christians and Christian farmers that Fulani Herdsmen Islamic extremist militants have kidnapped, raped, and/or massacred savagely, and the perpetrators of such heinous crimes were never arrested or prosecuted by the Buhari administration and his lousy AGN Malami, because they too are Fulani Herdsmen Islamic extremists. You need to showcase the hundreds of thousands of Christians ✝️ and Christian farmers still displaced and languishing in IDP camps, because Fulani Herdsmen Islamic extremists took over their ancestral lands. You need to showcase the hundreds of thousands of Christian children orphaned by Fulani Herdsmen Islamic extremists who are being sexuallly molested or forcibly married off to terrorists or old Muslim men because their parents are not there to protect them. I can go on and on. The victims have been completely forgotten.

      Why can’t you do your own documentary about these atrocities that you’re accusing the Fulani of , killing of hundreds of thousands of Christians , women and children and pillaging because the Fulani has no head….Thanks to these kind documentaries some people will have different picture of the Fulani. Some of you people will never grow up. It’s paining you that you’re seeing the positive Things about the Fulani because in your small mind you’ve been brainwashed to believe that every Fulani is evil and they’re targeting all farmers in the East and they’re taking people lands as if we are living in some medieval times. Grow up and learn…Buari is not longer the president so your politicians will now rest on the Fulani. We’ve already started seeing how they’re attacking the Yorubas online but that’s one will be met with the same counter-attack because they’ll defend themselves coz many of them are educated and use social media…Imagine saying Lagos is no man’s land. I rest my case.

      @@BH-by9zfhe murdererous killings of Christians and Christian farmers by marauding killer Fulani Herdsmen are well documented both within Nigeria (from Benue to the SW, SE, SS, etc), and internationally. Are you denying the truth because you were paid to show the good side of Fulani people? If your family members were slaughtered by Killer Fulani Herdsmen, would you be trying to cover up their atrocities? Just a little money in your hand and you trample the blood of hundreds of thousands of innocent children, women, and men who have fallen victims to marauding killer Fulani Herdsmen. So, hurling insults at me won't make you a better person. You merely showcase yourself as a childish and angry man. You need to do better research before you start hurling insults, and take some anger management classes. So, I won't return similar insults to you. Yes, there are Fulani Christians ✝️ and some Muslims who are like normal regular persons and who don't attack, kidnap, rape, murder, and destroy innocent lives, or farmlands any forcibly takeover ancestral homelands. However, unfortunately, majority of Fulani Herdsmen have caused immense havoc and wanton destruction of human lives, farmlands, and properties. These are documented facts.
      Do you have documented evidence to show that an Igbo man made the statement that Lagos is no man's land? You see, just like a rumor monger, you peddle lies without evidence.
      Also, please get the data right. Those attacking Igbos in Lagos are Tinubu and Sanwo Olu APC Yoruba thugs and hoodlums, and that doesn't constitute all Yorubas. Igbos aren't attacking Yorubas. You are one of those deliberately twisting the truth to continue stocking violence against Igbos. Please be extremely careful and STOP spreading lies deliberately.
      GOD bless you 🙏.
