- Sometimes all it takes to break things is one or two mods. We got crashes, glitches, stuttering, enemies disappearing, floating, mismatched armor, delayed animations, buggy spawns, you name it.
Just a glimpse into the kind of stuff I encountered this past week.
I was hoping to test some large scale battle stuff but surprise surprise, the mod that adds 2000 warring npcs to the game seems to cause performance issues for my setup.
Sometimes I forget that the main goal of this setup is to keep things simple. I'll be updating and optimizing things for the future.

Skyrim at war is one of my favorite mods, it's always fun to watch 😄
Visually this is outstanding! You *can* see the CPU struggling with some scenes not surprisingly.
What mod manager do you use for Skyrim?
Yeah my PC definitely hates me, but I'll be upgrading some stuff soon. I use mod organizer 2.
@@CredoRP thanks for the info. MO2 was recommended to me for Elder Scrolls games as well. My 10700K is less than three years old so I'm reluctant to change it so soon! It seems to run Cyberpunk quite smoothly at high settings though so maybe there may be other reasons for stuttering?
@@Hexemonno this game was just put together by a bunch of monkeys and left for modders to try and fix. The fact GTA V is easier to run than vanilla skyrim says everything lmao

@@CredoRP Honestly I don't think there's any real good reason to have civil war fights that large. The game is going to chunk no matter what, the engine can hardly keep up, and plus the gameplay is going to be such a mess. No way to read the action and react, just a big cluster f***. Smaller battles are more fun. It's like Elden Ring, notice how that game never has you fight 10+ enemies at once? Because it's just not fun IMO, small fights (5 maybe 10 max participants) are the sweet spot for Skyrim gameplay.
Seems like due to the scripted death animations bodies started bugging

The enb I'm using here is called NAT enb. It's a favorite of mine, definitely worth checking out.

There's too many actors. There's a mod that fixes it but I can't remember what it is called.

Looks like your havoc engine is in due for a few fixes, it's clearly not an actor limit problem because it's only dead NPCs and dropped weapons floating; but otherwise this looks really good.

I have +- same components on pc, do you use optimisers?
