    I've said it before and I'll say it again...I love that puller of yours. That clamping mechanism is just 'the dogs' 👍👍👍

    I invested in a shaft puller from a seller on eBay. The first pic Mr Mcgolf shows when he starts discussing the different types is the one to buy. It's hydraulic and has worked flawlessly. Clamps in a vice so you can stow away in a small shop. Also it pulls shafts vertically which is also ideal for a small shop. The price is $164.95+12.95 shipping. Seller is probably an individual building at home and sells through eBay. Mine will certainly last my lifetime.

    Hi Jim , when you’re cleaning out the bottom of the hosel what size and type of drill bit are you using or was it a .355 reamer ? Thanks for posting these videos, I really enjoy them.

    Hey Mr McG, what’s the flex and weight of the pulled shafts? Thank you sir

    • @McGolf
      @McGolf  9 місяців тому +1

      They were MMT shafts and Robin sent them off before I could read them

    I want the shafts not necessarily the heads. So, I want to pull the shafts and reuse them. Same method presumably. Thanks.

    Can that discoloration always be polished out? I find I always get a little no matter how careful I am.

    • @McGolf
      @McGolf  9 місяців тому +1

      yes, slight discoloration is easy, its when the hosel get massive hot becomes problematic

    I’ve noticed you don’t check to see if the epoxy was left inside the shaft. As when I pull shafts I always drill out the old epoxy inside the shaft, as to when I install the shaft back on another head, there is no where for the air pocket between the head and shaft to go. Which leaves an air pocket in the head to shaft and once installing the head pushes back out and won’t seat properly. I also have to use a long steel rod to get out the old epoxy as sometimes it stays on the walls of the shafts. Which also means, one needs to pull the grip and 2 way tape to get the bigger piece of epoxy out and also possibly the graphite powder and cork plug that was left inside for swing weight. ✅😉

      I do that check when I intend to reuse the shaft however in this case they were going back to the owner.

    I need the small v-shaped pushing sleeve. Are those sold separately anywhere?
