The wars would need to be interconnected in order to qualify as a World War. They may be multiple wars happening currently, but they lack a common thread.
I guess it has to be most if not all great powers fighting on multiple continents. Something along those lines
Both WW1 and WW2 had at least one combatant from each continent, excluding Antarctica of course.
