I feel one really important thing that could be said for iron, bronze, silver, and sometimes even gold players, is if you dont know where your enemy is, dont run into a room or corner with your knife or skills on your hands
the biggest reason I see people dying on those ranks is because an enemy shows up when they are either running with the knife, or trying to figure out where to use a skill, and when its needed they dont have their weapons ready to shoot back

I actually take out my knife really often on rotates or even 1v X situations and I am an immortal. Taking out knifes when it normally wouldn't be the "right play" is a really good way to throw off your opponent timings for how long it would take for you to walk somewhere. Most of the time too you don't need to know exactly where your opponent is but like just run a risk reward analysis. If you getting a great timing could potentially get you to win a 1v3 that normally would be pretty hard to win do it. This honestly applies to walking to teamate/enemy mollies as well. Sometimes doing the wrong play works.

The only advice I could tell someone hardstuck iron/bronze is to just duo with someone, play more and get a feel of how people play so you can adapt, trust me, I know the struggle of whenever you tell someone that you're hardstuck iron/bronze they never take you seriously and just laugh at you saying 'hold an angle' or 'click on head'

Best habit for every rank not mentioned tbh... Start playing a LOT of deathmatch, you will see a drastic increase in your mechanics, movement, aim etc and dont be one of those players camping and only holding angles, shifting etc, make sure you move (that doesnt mean peak like an idiot, obviously its ideal to "slice the pie" when peaking).

im in bronze- i learnt the crosshair place technique when i was iron2, hardstuck bc of smurfs, and just overall, braindead teammates (including me).
One thing I've learnt overall is that people may be better than you- no matter it be game sense, aim, patience, confidence, etc. And if there's a smurf (teammate or enemy), just try learning something. It's much easier to realise that you aren't playing very well, and staying calm. Panic will only get you to derank, and cause panic for your teammates.
also, one common thing i see in iron-silver lobbies: they dont use many comms. like in a 1v2 situation, i get a pick, 1v1 now, nobodies told me where they last saw the enemy, and how much health they've lost. It's extremely annoying. (Unless you don't know how to tell, which is when you die, you get a profile-sort of thing, which can tell you who you did damage to, who killed you, what weapon they used, and health.)
Sorry for long comment- just a few notes :)

My bad habits are (I’m bronze) :
    - Reloading every 5 shots
    - Crouching sometimes when shooting (I managed to stop that habit a few weeks ago but now I have it again)
    - Spraying too much every once in a while (not all the time, but sometimes I don’t think so I still do it cuz I’m scared to stop)
    - Not giving comms or giving comms in the chat but players can’t read them that quickly in quick/stressful situations
    - Mentality… I always start my games very motivated to win, but towards the end or the middle I get tired and more lazy to win

The thing about low elo like iron bronze and silver is the massive amount of smurfs and lower elo doesnt mean bad aim, most low elo players have decent aim but cant do anything with it seeing as the opponents have better aim and are to unpredictable. All of that makes climbing low elo extremely hard since its too unpredictable and chaotic to do good with.

I just hit gold recently and it's a pain in the ass playing minimally correctly and see your teammates just throwing a lot. We do have bad days but bro I'm way more consistently getting 20+ kills every game and trying to help my teammates out than playing bad once a week. And I think this is something important because as soon as you realise you're having a bad day I think it is important jusf to play unrateds for the whole day before thinking about comps otherwise you will derank and tilt a lot.

Usually in these ranks, there are lost silvers and bronzes but that doesnt even matter. The main reason why this elo is hell is because you cannot escape these ranks through solo queue

Only Pros could say what Radiant players could incorporate because, the only next level step after becoming a Radiant, could be, going pro.
And something I've hear many CS pro and coaches say, the thing really good players might lack even so they belong to the best players in the world, is the ability to adjust to their team. One pro coach said, some one might be the best player in the world, if he doesn't fit the team, he still will make the overall performance worse and wont be able to use his skill to full extend, that's why they some times choose pros who seem to be worse but suddenly start to shine as some of the best players, because they came into a team they actually can adjust to and vise versa. That was actually a big mistake with Alex "S1mple" one of the best CSGO players who touched that game, he often had issues with teams and even when he was in Navi, he was known for being a toxic diva, or gorden ramsey like and some times he was the reason they lost a majors. That's why he even had to go to a training, learning social skills and stuff, learning how to adapt to others ect.

I started at iron 1 and now i'm plat 2 and here are my few cents :-
    1. iron - b3 or silver - get a really good mouse and a mousepad. trust me it make a shit ton of difference. an office mouse will get you to maybe b2 or b3 but thats about it. the sensors on those are horrendous. a good mouse offers an insane amount of consistency.
    2. silver - gold :- learn anger management. This is a video game and there are a shit ton of variables that just aren't possible to guess like enemy positions in the dark. Accept the fact that you cannot win every single match and keep moving forward. Oh and also stop using the mic only to trash talk your own teammates. In every game i played, people were busy dissing me about my plays while mid round instead of updating me about the enemy positions.
    3. Plat - can't say much about this rank cause i'm in it but i can definitely suggest that you get a good pc and more importantly, a good monitor which supports of upwards of 144hz of refresh rate, bonus point if it has a 1ms reaction time. I encounter many of the people in my team who couldn't react fast enough even when they were on their toes and those enemies were visible on my screen a few fractions of seconds before. I does manke a difference when people are more than willing to punish any bit of mistake you do.

    • @l0ss322
      @l0ss322 2 роки тому

I think it's delusional to tell people they need better hardware to get better... You don't need 1ms less delay on your monitor when your normal human reaction time is 200ms... If you're hardstuck, don't make the mistake of spending a lot of money just because you hope it'll help you get better. It won't.

@@brycemoooney when you're at plat, you will definitely want to get to the better ranks and at better ranks, its like sports shoes, you need one to play the game. @@SanglapNaha I mean I understand what you’re saying but you can’t feel the absence of what was never there, you won’t need to adjust if you’ve never known it was there it all comes down to mechanical skill, upgrading is always up to the person and it’s just training your body to react and adjust but for some an upgrade may be needed
