There's a huge lesson to be learned from what Joshua said about how his income and spending habits changed.

I worked as an engineer for 35 years. My final year salary was $128K (started at $25K). Saved at least 20% of my income and invested in stocks. I retired last month at 58 with a networth of $2.3 million. No debt. Just my dividends plus money market interest is more than my old take home income. I don't feel rich but I consider myself financially free.

Love Chris's voice. Great talk. Just started my minialism journey and as a result my finanial journey has improved as well. Mindset=possibility for what ever we want for our future. Change your mindset and you will be able to change your life.

Finansiel freedom is for me not a question of a certain number, but a question of not owing money to nobody

Speaking of debt, I don't want to go to university. People look at me with disappointment when I tell them. *shrug*

Do you what to do something more practical instead. Many electricians plumbers and mechanics earn more than college graduates and don't have the same student debt levels. You could also start a small business doing what you love then when you find something you love cash flow higher education.

Susannah Jones hi :) I want to do an apprenticeship in digital marketing. I initially applied to do digital marketing at university anyway (it is 2 years) and instead I decided it wasn't worth it and withdraw my application before actually going. Thanks for your input 😊 I appreciate it

2% earnings on $4,000,000 is $76,000/year. Chris Hogan, lots of families can and do live on that income, so, I’m confused by why you shook your head whilst Ryan was suggesting one could live on the earnings of $4M even invested in a basic savings account?

Anyone plugged data into the formula rather than stating preliminary opinions? Anyone pursued the result of their findings?
