Elizabeth Feldspar Mine- Open Adit

Rock and mineral lovers, come join me as I explore the old Elizabeth Feldspar Mine. This Property was worked from 1925 T0 1926. Elizabeth Feldspar Mines shipped an estimated 6000 Tons of ore In 1925-26. Some material was also removed from the deposit in 1966 for display at The Montreal Expo. Feldspar, biotite, quartz, and garnet are common finds here. Open adite/ cave.

Yous have a tough mentality to put up with those deer flies . 😄 I dont have the patience for them !! .
Was simular at the open pit iron mine @ Dane ont .
The rocks are beuty but the bugs were swarming like killler bees .
