A lot of people online are mad that they’re so expensive but I just find it kind of funny how they wanna complain about the prices of Kayali fragrances, when every fragrance in Sephora in the large sizes….are more than $100, and I’m sure most of those people have at least 2-3 fragrances from Sephora in their collections. The reason why this new collection is so expensive is because one of the scent note ingredients (it’s either Oud or something else) is very expensive to source and use….which makes the products it’s put into, more expensive. That’s how it is for a lot of makeup, skincare, and fragrances that are more than $100…..it’s not always the brand owners wanting to make the products more expensive to take people’s money, it’s usually because they had to pay for the ingredients to make the products, and the ingredients that were harder to source and use…..costed more, which made the products more expensive.
Yeah this collection is more expensive but I am pretty sure they couldn’t put out this quality and use real oud for their normal pricing. I guess it’s just people who don’t understand oud is a very expensive ingredient to source. I have to say, you can really smell the quality in these 🔥

I’d say vanilla oud was the crowd favourite at the event yesterday but closely followed by cafe oud. The vanilla oud is quite soft in the oud but it lingers beautifully, it actually layers incredibly with tobacco oud! 🤩

Great idea. I have tested a few layering combinations and they blend so beautifully together. My favourite current combination is tobacco layered with vanilla. It softens the tobacco oud a little and makes it more wearable for me. Hope you enjoy them 🙏🏼
I feel like this collection is helping to open the brand up to a new audience. Cafe Oud is incredible, as soon as I woke up today I had to spray it all over.

I think if these are a winner they would be good to layer to amp up other things as well very excited for this release! It's nice that the UK gets something first as I know thats not often the case. I will wait patiently for when it comes to North America.
I just ordered Vanilla Oud. I debated on the Cafe Oud but I just purchased Replicas Coffee break and wasn't sure I wanted another coffee scent. Now I feel I might have to get Cafe Oud and Tobacco Oud in 10 ml
Good question, I thought about this as soon as I smelt rose oud. They have similarities however Elixir 11 is way stronger in the patchouli and not as jammy. The lemon is prominent in rose oud too and of course the oud. They have a slightly similar vibe though. Rose oud is mega strong
I am so ready for your thoughts. I have Vanilla Oud in my hand this morning and it develops so beautiful. It’s been 6 hours and it’s almost getting sweeter, it’s a close match between Vanilla and Cafe for me
Nope. Vanilla Royale is stronger and more in your face due to the patchouli. I’d say Vanilla Oud sits between Vanilla 28 and Vanilla Royale. It’s not overly sweet, extremely classy in my opinion and the oud is nice and soft. It could be my new favourite vanilla from Kayali.

With the name for this line Kayali proves once again to me that they are a marketing company in the business to sell. If you have a deep love and passion for perfume it should be about the scent, composition, not about being gawdy and ostentatious.
I think their marketing is what has made them such a big brand. Love or hate the name, people are talking and it’s likely exactly what they want from a name. The name isn’t for me but I have to say the fragrances are top quality for the price point.
Oud in the entire collection is very funky/animalic. You don’t really notice anything else but the awful nauseating stench of oud in this series of fragrances. Barf!
I mean it is an oud collection so I guess that is the point. I only really find it prominent in Tobacco Oud personally. It’s very subtle to me in the rest.
I agree. Bought two 10 ml bottles one Tobacco another Cafe. Tobacco is just revolting will never sell here in the US. But Cafe is actually very pleasant. The only thing is presence of rose accord is a bit prominent. But thank you for the review.

I've been looking for a great Vanilla Oud. Was hoping this could be it - but now I'm nervous it will be too soft for me.

I get BIAB, which is builder gel and keeps my nails strong. Basically like thicker gel polish. I have a copper chrome on them at the moment ❤️
