I'm a little irked by presenting services in this way - it's a target concentration process where all these lovely and often less-than-ideally secured services are suddenly clustered into a central point, anyone looking for future DDOS drones, etc. is going to love this. It's a bit like major cloud service providers for ERPs; all those lovely juicy ERP systems that amplify the reward for anyone who applied a zero-day attack to the infrastructure and somehow got a foothold they could set up and quietly wait to use later on...
I am using Caddy along with Tailscale and Tailscale domain names and certs. I just got it working and am very happy with it. For one it is allowing me to Chromecast from my Jellyfin server (which requires domain name with certs) to my Nvidia Shield TV box. No need to open any ports on my router.
Would love if you could show a video using caddy and tailscale to add all the services with tailscale for external access using their magic dns and https
Your overdone baas boost / treble cut finally forced me to install Voicemeeter. Due to a motherboard restriction, it's the only way I can adjust tone on my computer.
Even when im busy, I love your vibe and content learning. I scrub your timeline like a dishwasher with leaving his shift in two minutes... so much to look at and check again.. #besttechallday
does it also do URL rewriting? basically, if one of those web services is looking for images under "/img/foo.jpg" but now the path "/" is different because of the subdirectory you added... does that work?
Might give nginx proxy manager a try, I think it's even easier to configure. If you put all the containers on the same (Docker) network you can disable the port bind

Can you point me to some writeup / tutorial for this?
@@metal-beard I guess that's a "no".

Amazing! Yesterday I've worked to work
So cool you've posted this today 🎉
But doesn't nextcloud use https?
Good info Don, Thanks
Always equipping his viewers with useful networking information.

Can somebody help me with the caddy file how to set up reverse proxy
Is there a way to password protect the initial caddy webpage? Two-factor/two layer protection?

Hey Don, Thank you for your work, Where do I run that script on the docker host? I apologize for the stupid question thank you.
Hi Michael. The script is executed in the Linux shell running on your pi device. He uses ssh to access it from his computer and then runs the script.

Excellent! Thanks a lot!
Do you know any way to block UA-cam ads on Samsung tv`s ? Thanks... greatings from Portugal 🇵🇹 🌟
If its running android you can try to install ad skip. It mutes the ads and skips them automatically. Hopefully it helps, working well on my phone
@@adrianmares269 it's not android... That was easy... It's Samsung firmware... That's the problem...
My pi 4 has a thing that is soldered next to the ram that fell off 😭
Awesome, glad you took my suggestion and ran with it. Caddy is the future if you ask me, and I'm a senior web dev!
pyjamas is in what program?
