zyox the kinda guy to toss a can of soda away only for it to richochet off the trash can, bounce off every tree in the park, and hit someone on the back of the head, causing said someone to believe the person next to them did it and get into a whole ass fight
dude, I don't understand how you have the energy to take such deep dives into stuff like this, but dang do I appreciate having an unbiased display of all the information available all in one place
To be fair, I'm Chinese and saw Tectone's initial reaction to Yun Jin's introductory video. He actually repeatedly complimented her language and was only disappointed after hearing her opera singing voice, which personally I'm not a fan of either. I guess many chinese will take it to offense because their voices are typically silenced on western platforms, so they have a reason to be angry. Me personally, I wasn't bothered by it. I do think Tectone was initially being nice and just had a differing opinion. He just took a bit far afterward.. along with Atsu.
@@sinsa3636 ironic in a way, the chinese playerbase is openly racist to a degree and size thats extraordinary. But here you suffer a minor infliction its a serious issue and the west is a bully. lets be reminded this whole beef started there. If it was the other way around (regarding racist remarks) I dought it wouldve gone any further, it probably wouldve been shrugged of
It's more like the Đorđe Martinović incident if the farmer managed to continue live his life peacefully on his farm If you don't know what it is, I recomment learning about it a bit cause it is wild.
Like from the scale of the consequences I was hoping that there'd be more actual misdemeanours causing it but NO they're just DRAMATIC. Content creators just can't shut up I swear
Same. I can't believe I wasted my life on this video but I've reached the same conclusion. No one is making walls of texts and deflecting quite as much as he is. He cannot even retire without spinning a victim narrative.
Counter point, just a realtime strategy game were voluntary child sjw soldiers yap while the middle child don know why mommy and daddy fighting again...
the conclusion i reached: 1. oh my GOD everyone just stop tweeting 2. content creators really need to learn to keep their drama personal and not public, sometimes its warranted but most of these instances could have been easily solved if people learned when to shut up
Literally 1 tweet would've suffice, stating the drama to the public being resolved privately. But, no. They wanted to save their image because people keep bringing it up in their chat/comments to know what the hell is going on, and of course being the creator they are, they feel "obligated" to give a reply only to dig a bigger grave for themselves 💀 Sorry for the bed english if there were any
Which route will you choose? Be the pacifist that gets all sides to put down their arms? Or will you go nuclear and end both sides in a glorious wave of destruction?

Frrrrrr like I’m too brain dead to focus rn, I’ve drawn like 7 mind-maps withs everyone’s POV and possible ideas and speculations. It sucks to have that theorist mentality and hope this beef is dead and buried. Not gonna count on that tho knowing the Genshin community…
im mad late and all ima say is, if someone in the ''space'' that i occupy is a sexual predator id like to know so i can avoid them. shit aint weird to inform people about shit thats just wrong. even if you dont know them. look out for each other.
It is definitely weird that the act of warning someone of a potential predator is seen as an afront to that person rather than an act of lending a helping hand. The only thing that can be said during that conversation was that it might not have been the right time/place to say it.
I laughed as well and for us outsiders just being viewers with no context at the time (and tbh even now knowing much more thx to mujin), i still find it funny. High-schooler lvl drama but with rich adult streamers leading to all of that is wild
And it's funny that he caught strays from Atsu's latest doc (skeletons on his closet), explained it on stream and turned to be the most nothingburger in the history of nothingburgers. Now the "skeletons in his closet" become an insider meme lmao
I feel like half of this drama could've been prevented if only Atsu just acted like normal fucking human being when it comes to interacting with a new person
Even interacting with old friends became weird for atsu. itspaikon has always been a guy that doesn't care about drama and wishes well for people, and atsu sus'ed him out for a good week to determine if he was on atsu's side or not. Even the accusations atsu levied against dish are unproven by his very own evidence. He claims that dish changes points about her in atsu's doc to make her look better, when the evidence only shows she did spelling checks, making sure grammar and sentence structure are good while also ensuring atsu backed his claims with sources to look better. As for zyox's situation, atsu blew up his situation to make it seem like some zyox did something that could get people arrested/jailed/cancelled by twitter, when the only thing that happened was his friends got drunk, was rowdy, and left the party. the end. Zyox was so mind boggled that atsu blew a normal situation out of proportion so much that it made every claim tectone made about atsu seem correct. So many people tried to push this offline, so many chances for this situation to die down, and yet atsu refused to do this in a mature way. haiz
I mean everything Atsu said about Brax was spot on though. You have to read between the lines. a lot of it was caused by Brax not understanding social cues well but this doesn’t mean he was also not trying to climb the social ladder. As Atsu said Brax couldn’t look at things from a human perspective, like when the face reveal happened and he centered his point around audiences instead of empathy. Atsu could’ve chose to be nice at first yeah but that’s putting all the blame on him. Self evidently, Brax even admits how awkward he was being at the beginning. If Brax really didn’t think he was in the wrong he wouldn’t have kept it all in secret.
It's wild that the drama started with Atsu saying Tectone surrounds himself with, "yes-men," but complained that his friends didnt blindly side with him.
@@gagelara7620 its probably a red flag if your health professional is a "yes men" they arent there to agree to everything you say they are there to help you cope and understand yourself, completely unrelated to the drama but i would suggest finding a different health professional if you think they agree to every thing you do thats not how this works, anyways thats just my thoughts as a psych student
They're all adults btw which makes this drama 10 times funnier. This is the drama that would happen in 6th grade when your best friend would talk to someone you don't like and you get mad over it and make a big fuss
truly, like actual grown people in their thirties and forties (!!!) having the type of beef if had with my friends in middle school, if not worse, and in public like what are we doing
yeah it was all fun and games but some of the allegations were really serious and tbh i do think there was some nepotism involved like why contact Atsu of all people to recommend the creators? I have not seen any content creator being that previlaged or maybe i dont know or maybe having a hoyo employee as a roommate helped alot. And tbh Atsu is the silliest child bro was putting a guy on arm's length cause of 'vibes' bruh gimme a break adults really don't act like that, my family has beef with other family they even came to our house to fight but it was mostly arguments but we always helps them out if they need it and even tho i don't like some people i still talk to them cause it makes no difference its not like they are trying to poison you bruh. And not only that he's frikin dragging this drama for no reason at all I mean they would not have cared if he didn't dragged their names again and again and again, he was the problem itself
@xMissBatty he had no right to hurt other people because he ASSUMED theyd get to him first, ratsu is one of the most delusional people anyone has seen on the entire internet
I find that people who expect others to be two faced are either traumatized or theyre giving you a preview of how they process to world. The same way I assumed everyone was confident in everything they said when I was younger because as a kid I couldnt imagine a situation in which Id want to speak as if I knew the answer if I didnt. A more up to date example is that I tend to be quieter when I know people are stressed because the only way Ive ever experienced the world is with sensory issues (the most impactful of which are auditory) and they get way worse when im stressed or frustrated. Im aware that most people do not deal with sensory issues or at least not to the degree I do but since thats how I process information that is how I assume others do unless otherwise shown or told.
i wasn't on one side or the other until u went into the brax situation. as an autistic person that sounds like my own personal nightmare and really mirrors situations i've had in my own life where i didn't understand some unspoken rule about how to behave and got cut off from absolutely everyone. saying you don't want to form a relationship with someone is not the same as excluding them from every space in the work community you share.
Brax did mention that being excluded was in fact fine, the problem was that atsu shit talked about him based on hatred from so little interactions over 2 years and ruined any cc to cc relationship he could've developed that was close to atsu's circle. Hell braxophone originally did not even want to make a document, until atsu decided to include him in his crosshairs when targeting tectone. I honestly do feel for you and I am sorry for what you have experienced, hopefully it won't happen again. I also hope that any content creators in the space also do not face this type of blatant clique mindset in the future too.
@@xxxvyaasas7999yeah I'm late to this, but it's so weird how Atsu flames on him for "being overly self-centered" and putting Atsu in every single interaction with a CC when he's doing THE EXACT. SAME. THING.
in my opinion, Atsu had the right to be mad about SOME stuff, but some of the things in his life were problems that were his own that he was just lashing out and blaming others for. The way he went after Braxaphone just to nuke the man for being part of the community was sad.
Yeah, I feel like it's super easy to perceive Brax as some Machiavellian character when Atsu is (IMO projecting) painting him thusly - but as someone with anxiety, as someone dating an autistic person, I immediately just thought 'This man doesn't know how to socialize' whether that's anxiety, autism, or straight up just coming out of COVID lockdowns. It seems like Atsu is the Machiavelli here, claiming other's ought to be empathetic, aware, careful, when he himself is neglecting to do so for people like Brax.
Just finished the video. In my personal opinion, Atsu is in the wrong here. He seems to be a type of person who hold grudges and cant seem to let go even if it becomes detrimental to his mental health, career etc.
@@BenetteG which is interesting considering he himself said the exact same thing about tectone when he posted that genshin disappointment video. the projection comes full circle
I'd argue that it isnt though. A lot of these people meet in person/are irl friends, and theres livelihoods/brand sponsorships at stake, which is what really surprises me (that they'd all take it this far). Its really online ofc, but this doesnt take the cake at all
@@forsythia-me2lxits not about it being online, im pretty sure online in this sentence means a “go outside” way, almost everyone in this drama was stupidly immature and if they just got off their devices more often none of this would’ve happened
@@purebunagreed! EVERYONE, tectone, atsu, brax, they all were annoyingly immature throughout all of this and tbh, none of this should have gone down publicly because there is absolutely nothing the public can do about the behind the scenes at hoyoverse
Ngl Astu seems very much the bad guy here. This is some mean girl level of manipulation. “Sry, u gave me the ick so u can’t come to any Genshin meet up I’m involved in. Which is all of them. If ever speak up about me excluding u and only inviting my friends I’ll paint u as a lonely stalker and a creep.” This some shit I would see in high school man. @@pizzafrenchfries707 He didn't. He didn't get away with this. At all. He was hit by the same thing Tectone went through. His wife cheated on him. His friends turned on him. Atsu went through what Tectone went through. That is karmic justice enough.
A genuine question how are they able to mention this level of grammatical accuracy while being this emotional, I cant even write a para without making mistakes all around even with spelling sometimes, i really need to know to improve my writing skill or at least get a shortcut if it exists, like does the auto correct and suggestions really help this much?
It didn't "just come out" this is something that extended for 3 years and the video is long cause it needs to give context on what happened since then to understand the drama

i'm not exactly a Tectone fan. But having watched this unfold back in january, i was puzzled by one thing. How. How exactly did a community-wide complaint on lantern rite rewards turn into a battle against Tectone. He NEVER was the point nor the problem to begin with. Within a week, the debate about the rewards had completely died down, and past a couple weeks, you could read AT MOST people attacking either parties depending who they decided to side with. Whatever snowballed from that point onward was simply what happens when you try to stir up chaos you cannot control.
@@yuzzo92Perfect example of being at the centre of the river known as life. It will always find a way to fuck you over until you have no choice but to address your issues and grow as a person.
Bro from my perspective, tectone and atsu are extremely similar except one person is loud and doesn’t make an effort to have a filter and the other tries their best to repress his personality but horribly fails, making him look 10x worse.
From what I've seen in this video, the two main perpetrators tectone and atsu are both at fault, but not equally. Yes, tectone sometimes dredged up old threads because it was mentioned in his stream but he kept it in his chat and discussed it at length (or as much he could have lol he got no filter), while atsu consistently revitalized buried topics which were allegedly quashed over dinner or a Discord call. He then proceeds to write partial dissertations implicating more and more content creators until he can make the eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano look like an accident in a pubery stricken pre-teen's pants. There is one common denominator in the Google Docs and it is NOT Tectone's crude but honest personality.
I’m so scared to find out who it is as someone who is a big fan of the crewmeru stream vods and watching videos from the voice actors.. it’s definitely not Alejandro Saab (Cyno) though since many many people can vouch for him being a good person, and I’m sure that Zach Gordon (Tighnari) wouldn’t want a repeat of the previous Tighnari situation..
@@Pericat11 I feel like main crewmeru (as in those who regularly play with cyyu) is probably fine, since Ben (Kaveh), Nazeeh (Alhaitham), and Alejandro (Cyno) all genuinely know each other. The encounter with Brax and Atsu happened in July 2022, so Fontaine can be ruled out. I won't cross out Sumeru completely, since it released in August 2022 and voice recordings would've been done before that.
Got here via UA-cam autoplay. Had no idea these people existed. Atsu seems like a textbook internet manipulator, Tectone like a textbook internet asshole, and Enviosity like someone that would probably have a better quality of life as someone outside of the internet public eye. I kind of empathize with people that felt slighted by Atsu over the creator nonsense because I've seen how the "company -> creator liason" dynamic generates extreme bullshit in real time before. But yeah in general, good lord, none of these characters are sympathetic as presented here, and I understand now why people say the "genshin community" is not a good place to be.
NGL I was wondering why Mujin was so meticulous in this video. He's putting warnings every paragraph instead of every other paragraph and probably quad checking instead of double checking. Turns out he was name dropped. Great video. Would lose 2 hours of sleep time again.
Frankly it should always be like this. Allegations are serious and what's the point of talking about somebody's harm if you're going to be half-arsed or joking. He did a good job here.
Did anyone see where Mujin provided the proof that the ex-wife was cheating? Freem, I think her name was? I need to find it but I'm not going through the whole video again.
Holy Fuck. I knew the drama was bad, but I didn't understand the sheer magnitude of intensity and length of the situation. Thank you for actually making one video that explains it all that I can watch in one place!
It's a 3 year old beef. My knowledge of this drama is very tame since I am never online on Twitter. In the first place, I never liked Atsu, his online persona always felt cringe, plus he made a video in 2021 about "racism bad" over some stupid Twitter drama. That made me realise he was a race drama baiter and I stayed the hell away from him. As a fellow asian(Indian), his actions didn't feel right. Flash forward to 2024 and Brax came out with his allegations. Guess whose side I took. Brax may have taken back his white discrimination allegations for Atsu but I can believe Atsu is of that character. Atsu indicated in that "racism bad" video that he had bad experiences with white people during his childhood and held a hatred for the race of his bullies ever since. It's sad how grown men didn't punch it out in the background and had to bring this out in the public light for everyone's dismay.
@@RKNancy its very much not uncommon for a lot of diaspora or people of minorities to hold hostility and hypervigilance against their oppressors/abusers. its the same with women who end up having trauma around men, and then become much more wary around other men. their logic is not logical, it comes from a place of trauma.
I've never heard of this drama at all in the 2+ years I've played Genshin. I guess not using Twitter and Twitch at all plus not watching people play Genshin really kept me in the dark about all this mess.
@@aerialdive bruh, I have the same trauma about people bullying me for being a person of a different race. I understand Atsu's trauma and empathize with him. But I never let my trauma define my current relationships. Also I never let my high school drama define my current relationships. I still have to maintain a nice facade of friendliness with my past bully because the rest of my friends from our current social circle don't deserve to get involved in that drama that has nothing to do with them. Atsu let his past trauma define his current relationships and while I understand why he did that, that's not okay in a space where you are a content creator and are supposed to be a rational human being. Let's be clear, holding grudges because of past trauma isn't what a rational person would do. Of course it all blew up in Atsu's face. Hating someone for nothing except personal reasons and then letting your hatred of them affect their livelihood is pretty damning imo.
mujin bro, I don't watch astu or tectone, but I know of them since I'm in the genshin community. The minute I was recommended that 34-page document tweet and saw your tweet regarding it, I waited patiently for you to drop this video. Like all your other videos, you went above and beyond in making sure I, a plebian who had no idea what occurred, left this video both tired of the drama (despite only JUST NOW learning of it), and informed enough to move on. Thank you so much for being the content creator I can always depend on to give information to the best of your knowledge and degree. Take a vacation man, you deserve it 🫶🫡
The production quality of this video is insane! Ended up watching the full video, great editing man. As for what happened, its quite sad but goes to show how much impact our words and actions can have and is a good eye opener.
Tectone channel is like a big library. No matter how much videos they delete from the internet, you can always find a copy with Tectone reacting to it 😂
I’m 47. As representative of the senior community, you did an amazing job explaining this. I’m still a gamer, try to hang on to my diminished youth, and had no idea about any of this (downloaded Genshin and never played. Great job.
So, all this drama could have been prevented if: 1. This GooseEgg dude shut his mouth before or after Tectone's apology upload. 2. This Atsu dude could have just said "nice meeting you too bro" to an up and coming content creator and went on with his life. 3. Tectone could have just ignored rumors or hearsays.
Seriously. They could've each just minded their own businesses. To waste that much time and energy on people you only primarily know through the internet and letting them take over your life is silly.
Nah, Atsu's a manipulator and Tectone has a really "abrasive and arrogant" virtual (or real) persona both of them will 100% have been involved in drama.
If these never happened, drama would still be created because of Tectone's personality. You have to be at least 30 years old like me to know that Tectone's "Persona" was a cancer in the Genshin Community.
I remember when the doc was getting passed around. I opened it and went “I don’t know these people” and closed it. I know nothing about genshin creators despite playing the game and your coverage was very imformative and almost perfect to follow along
Saw this drama tornado sweeping across Twitter the last few months but never fully read anything since I'm just a casual Genshin player. I cooked a 8 serving bolognese pasta and chicken salad to this, thanks for the extremely informative video!
I came here from watching the HSR VA drama. And holy smokes, I have NO IDEA at all that all this happened! Granted, I'm not on Twitter/X though so probably why. Also, man, I watched the ENTIRE vid. You really have great storytelling skills, and thank you for compiling everything! I initially have a lot more to say, but all things considered, I do think it's best to just let it rest and hope everyone moves on and find peace moving forward.

So Tectone caught his wife cheating on him right before that car ride? That must have taken a ton of self-control to not just reveal it right then and there, also chose to be the bad guy and not reveal the context to that clip just to protect his cheating ex. Meanwhile Atsu uses it as an opening in his document just to gain sympathy.
@icheeva1 Or see different points of view, you can't just stick with a short video Lmao It is the basic thing in life to not be the type of person who only reads the news of his political party.
everytime things got worse for atsu it was directly a result of him subtweeting or namedropping people out of no where. i wanted to be neutral but genuinely i can’t stand this guy, the sentiment he’s trying to pass of “i wish we could all have been friends” rings hollow when the only reason any of this happened is because he decided to drag brax into all this out of fucking no where. and that final document where he just sits down and starts bitching about as many other content creators as he can think of. like… ok.

It's appalling how Atsu is so self absorbed to the extent of how the consequences of his actions seem to be cancelled out from his level of perception , I view him as someone who'd literally do ANYTHING that favors him in a predicament and won't go out of his way to make genuine amends unless it's convenient for him. He's sooo controlling.
That's honestly the best way to say it. He tries to take people's careers and relationships, fails to get what he wants, acts like everyone is hating him for no reason, and throws a pity tantrum.
This Atsu guy acts as if everyone wants something from him. He seems to see himself as hot commodity. It’s irritating that his narrative is always him as the victim and everyone is the bad guy..so unrealistic to completely absolve himself of all fault as if he were completely innocent. Mental health is no joke, and I hope,he gets all the support he needs in light of the tragedies in his personal life. However he really needs to reconsider many many things in how he thinks and acts.

I used to make Genshin Impact content back in the day because I truly loved and enjoyed the game. After a few months into my yt grind, I slowly began to realize that the Genshin community was different than anything I'd ever know in my life. I grew up on COD and then CSGO for perspective. People were overly obsessive and if you ever said something that was disagreeable, you would receive hate in one form or another. Whether this was about a character, an area, a mob, a voice line. It was terrible, you had to make bland content either showcasing builds, rolling for a character, or risk receiving hate. This was clearly reflected in content as many creators were scared to make any videos that would talk negatively about anything in the game. The only thing creators could talk about was other creators. Fast forward to today, I have no regrets about leaving Genshin behind. I look back fondly on the fun I had while playing, but the Genshin community is something I never want to be associated with ever again.
The Genshin community isn't getting any better. I don't know how Hoyoverse tolerates any of us. I think they focus on the cool artists. Not the gay / incest shippers, people obsessed with skin tone and content creators with inflated egos.
I still play the game but I'm limiting engagement with the community for the same purpose. I can't even say I want this certain kind of change without people hounding at me for suggesting some stuff into the game. They all sound like 10 year olds who can't even take a proper suggestion or critique lightly because they see everything as an offense.
atsu going after dish is particularly stupid because with that tweet she made to brax back in phase 2, she also made a tweet saying that she sees atsu as her close friend and that she intends to keep it that way. what more do you want from a friend, like jeez, come onnn
Not to defend Atsu at all, but I thought him going after Dish originated from her tweet about the Brax situation where she basically was like “I don’t know why Atsu did that and would like to know as well” and people took that as confirmation that he was guilty?🤔 and he might have done other things, but it seems like Brax got the contract after all, so in this specific case it wasn’t Atsu I think… But please correct me if I’m wrong 🙈
Reason probaly that Atsu took paycuts for his friends to be invited and given more opportunities so he thinks they own him alot cause he lost so much money cause of them and at the end they backstab him. His final document had the vibe of i should not have given you any of my potential earnings cause you were just using me.

i do think to some extent zajef and tectone have a lot of animosity tho considering zaj once said tectone's community harassed him (idk if it was over being f2p or something else). i def think tectones just as much of an asshole as atsu is still, i just feel for brax and all the other creators atsu fucked over in the background as well now
yeah i don't know any faces. only know that the names are Content creators that supposedly play genshin. i'm steering away from hoyoverse games as new open world anime games come out from company's that treat their fanbase better. WuWa's combat is so genuinely fun. i recommend it, i suggest playing it and redeeming stuff before some of the said stuff expires.
I mean, they will jump at anything that will have an audience, if Wuwa really ends up having said audience, they will be there. Tectone has already a track record for his behavious it has nothing to do with Hoyoverse game. I wish he makes the jump to Wuwa, and several of these "content creators".
I have never learned a thing about Genshin Impact and I don't know or care about these people, but what I do care about is long-ass engaging videos about things and people I don't care about, so bravo from me. And I did in fact watch the entire thing 😅
basically atsu needed to 1. quit his bad habit of subtweeting 2. stop involving himself in covering up peoples' "skeletons in the closet" when literally no one asked him to 3. go touch grass
@@Lyrex315 You see the difference betwen the first comment and your reply is that the first comment are actions that Atsu can take. And yours is just adhominem attacks that aren't even really connected to the video
If you want the opinion of a total outsider, I don’t play Genshin. I have never heard of ANY of these people. So all I know is what’s shown in this video and man, this thing was a rollercoaster from start to finish. Everyone in it seems to be very immature or maybe they’re just so deep into their online universe that they can’t separate themselves from it to see how absurd the whole thing is. My thoughts on these people were all over the place, going back and forth with new information. But by the end, when you got to Atsu’s long document, what I thought of everyone else didn’t matter anymore because now it seems like Atsu’s the main problem. He refused to stop beating the dead horse and that final document was the apex of it. It 100% seems like he was trying to pull everyone into an explosion while he exited so he’d feel better about himself even if it caused more chaos for everyone else. Many of the parts you went over in that document were conversations that could have and absolutely SHOULD HAVE happened privately. Some of those apologies he gave included “I’m sorry, but-“ which immediately negates the apology and makes him seem shallow, arrogant, and not able to take genuine accountability. He kept bringing up topics and then refusing to go into depth because it “wasn’t his place” but if he really believed that, he wouldn’t talk about it at all because bringing it up is stirring the pot. By doing that it ends up pressuring those involved to talk about it, which is so disrespectful. Honestly, he seems very disrespectful in general with the way he talks about others, even those he considers friends, and dragging people into that document who hadn’t been involved previously. Look, his situation sucks, but goodness gracious it seems like at LEAST half of it was entirely his own fault and this was unfortunately karma biting him in the butt.
Astu deserve this, the dude held grudges, lied, try to use people and so on. This is what karma is, and all of this could of been swept under the rug if Astu, just shut his mouth. Now why I think this way I had massive trust issues with people, so Astu feels like someone I would of known who would do whatever they wanted to get a upper hand
Yep, you got it. Look, he had it bad, his wife NEVER should've done that and his friends were awful if what he says is to be believed. But HE'S the one literally pointing fingers at everyone and trying to make it seem like nothing was his fault. And yes, since he put that whole "his wife cheated on him and his friends all suck" at the beginning, it did seem like he was fishing for pity so he could try to convince people of what happened after that, which, yuck. He took literally no accountability for any of the drama that he deliberately restarted with Tectone and Braxophone (yes both separately) and then threw hands with the whole community at the end after he quit.
@@TijiSan XD, but yeah also im going to go on limb and I know it sounds bad, but I think Astu never tried to unalive, rather I think he is using it to get people off his back for the horrid shit he's done
genshin fandom is unhinged, and genshin's big creators are not different, lol. it's like a shit ton of angry and immature children bickering about some nonsense
😂😂 this shit is insane i kind of wish we had drama like this back in Ragnarok online days forum drama could get pretty wild but this is like avengers tier 😂
Watching this, I see that he was an exceptional manipulator. It’s fascinating, had it not been his miscalculation / misreading of the situation in involving Brax in phase 2, he would have still been the wise sage of genshin.
Atsu: Tells Tectone to take his name out of his mouth when Tectone hasn't talked about him since the phase 1 drama Also Atsu: Talks about Tectone when literally no one asked and the drama was supposed to have been resolved
People give shit at brax for contacting hoyoverse about atsu but if you thought one of your colleagues at work was stopping you from promotion and pay rises would you not speak with HR? I would! This is what this is. The people at Hoya that he spoke to are liaisons for content creators it’s like HR he wanted to know if atsu was stopping his career growth which is a valid thing
Yep exactly this. Personally, I would understand why I might get backstabbed in personal relationships but getting cucked at business opportunities at work? That's a whole level of evil there.
@@edpaolosalting9116 and people say it was unprofessional but it was in fact the most professional thing Brax could’ve done. He didn’t do a public video he didn’t do a subtweet he didn’t badmouth atsu, he went to the liaison from hoyo and asked straight if he’s career was being tampered with and if there was something he could do to be invited to opportunities the same way you would go to HR in a normal job. Unlike atsu making side comments and subtweets that’s the unprofessional behaviour
@@RitinhaGE Exactly. Brax did the right thing when he went to Hoyo to talk about it. The people who are calling it unprofessional likely have never worked a day in their lives or are fans of other people involved in this drama.
@@RitinhaGE unfortunately the genshin community is filled to the brim with unemployed people who have no clue what talking to hr is, or what even hr is in the first place
This was a very well written and informative video. I cannot even begin to imagine how long this took you to write and make so please your efforts have not gone unnoticed. I personally stay far away from drama whenever possible so had no idea any of this was going behind the scenes but I'm glad I was able to experience it through a calm, unbiased commentary like this. Although not directed at me, that line at the end wishing he will be able to look in the mirror and be happy that his attempts failed really hit me hard. I've had many problems with self harm and unlive attempts and this line genuinely gave me hope. I've come a very long way from then but still not at the point where I can fully appreciate the fact I'm still alive. I will keep working hard and look forward to the day I will be able to look at myself and say those words 💕
You know what they say. Better the devil you know than the devil you don't. Tectone who talks shit about you to your face or Atsu who talks shit about you behind your back while pretending to be holier than thou. Pick your poison I guess
id pick Tectone tbh. ive seen my fair share of people irl similar to Atsu and it's like being a frog sitting in boiling water. at least with tectone, you can just square it out on the spot and possibly make an unlikely ally as a result. if not, then oh well.
I agree with red, screw ppl like atsu. Tectone was right to say that atsu didnt know how to resolve conflicts. Talking behind other ppls backs is a sign of disrespect and always aggraves the issue. Its crazy how they convince themselves it makes things better, and especially when they are a creator who talks shit to his audience 😂 I didnt know any of these creators beforehand but I knew ppl like atsu and they always ruin friendgroups lol and worse they cant take any accountability bc they believe they can do no wrong
I’d take Tectone every day of the week. At least with Tectone, you know you’re not going to get stabbed in the back, whereas Atsu got the “rat/snake” moniker for a reason. He’s incredibly deceptive and manipulative…even in that 34 page doc, he does so much gas lighting that he might be responsible for the California wildfires. Also, Tectone actually seems like a pretty good dude to people that don’t fuck with him. A lot of the people that have an issue with Tectone either… 1. Started beef with him because they don’t like his opinions 2. Started beef with his friends/colleagues Really, what it all boils down to is…respect people’s opinions, even if you disagree with them. It seems like with the Genshin community, the WORST thing you can do is have an opinion that doesn’t conform to the majority. It boggles my mind how people get so butthurt about one person’s opinions. I mean, my God, I subbed to Tectone about a year ago and I can honestly say I’ve disagreed with his opinion more times than I can count. However, I respect what he does for smaller content creators and I’d say I agree with him more than I disagree. It’s amazing at how the art of respectfully disagreeing with people’s opinions has become such a foreign concept.
Xyox started as a catalyst and he delivered, flames ravaged the whole cc space with everyone on the battlefield and yet amidst the fires he is the last one to deliver the final statement and ended the 2nd Genshin CC War and everyone lives happily ever after "Maybe the real genshin is the impact we made along the way."
His jokes are like 12 year old humour that make him seem immature but in actuality he makes really good judgements and avoids drama. It’s just unfortunate that his ”Duality of Man” tweet got blown way out of proportion.
@@Hanabi_Han yeah, I often find myself surprised at how mature and normal he acts if he wants to. Out of all the major genshin creators he seems to be the nicest to hang out with
just saw how long it. Perfect background noise for Halloween costume making. Love the content. Pls dont stop making videos like this.they are the only reson i know whats happening around me and outside of germany.
The Genshin lore community is genuinely heart warming from what I’ve seen. I follow quite a few of them (Dawit, Gamer Chronicles and others) and I always see theory comments, lore speculation and nice comments. I prefer the lore corner of the community
I think this is why I'm mostly unaware of the drama about genshin that a lot of people are yapping about, I play genshin mainly for the lore and not really for the gacha, and yeah its quite chill on the lore sides
This is because this part of the community focuses only on the narrative part that the game has to offer, which in itself guarantees content for ages, since Hoyo loves to cram relevant lore even into the description of a cupcake. They don't want to discuss the morality of gacha, the rhythm of updates, Hoyo's PR, parasocial relationships between content creators, none of that. They just want to follow what the story has to tell. Of course, there are those who dare to see this part of the community pejoratively as a kind of "enlightened exempt", but let's face it: these are the type of people who are terminally online and who refuse to touch the grass that demands positioning from everyone.
I don't know what prompt me to click and watch this video when I don't even play genshin impact. But as I started doing chores while listening, I want to say that I really appreciate and admire the work that went into researching and looking at every single POV you could find as well as emphasizing the viewer to make their own judgement on who to side, if they wanted to or not. It feels that nowadays with social media being so easily absorbed, a lot of people, no matter the age, almost never check their sources and believe almost every single thing they see, hear or read. Much love- a viewer from Brunei.
This came on on my autoplay and I let it go on not knowing it was going to be the most entertainment I'll get on YT. Its been a while since I left a video wanting to hit replay immediately.
I feel the same bro. Im not even a Genshin player but Im aware who Kektone is because he was also from the Arknights community at some point. I just found this vid randomly and decided to listen.
Honestly it’s pretty disturbing that we still don’t know who the “Creepy VA” was. Goes to show how the CC in the drama only cared to look good not actually help the public by making them aware of a potential threat.
@@jammindragon1812 Mujin implies it wasn’t and if it was that makes things worse for the VA’s cause they knew and did nothing or it’s another and they are protecting them. Screw that.
Might be Daman Mills, Lyney's VA. He was accused of sexual harrassment of a minor, but then it was dropped because apparently his agency threatened them.
The whole Genshin fandom has been Furina/the audience for the longest time now, finally Mujin brought in all the evidence and a clear unbiased explanation and finally we can make head or tail of this whole situation! Man who knew they were living a trial all this time and all of us the audience lmao
Wave 3 of the drama is where Atsu loses me. Up til then I can see how a man gets influence that is ironically out of his control, and hurts people like Brax accidentally. He and Tectone are both very opinionated personalities, so clashes are perhaps unavoidable in ways that both or neither of them are at fault. Dropping that document the way he did in wave 3 calling out people and intentionally starting drama that he had no business starting (Zyox) is completely uncalled for. The way he judges people so harshly is what gets him into so many beefs and he makes a very public showing of it. Hard to feel sympathy when it doesn't really feel like he is reflecting on his behaviour - he just keeps doubling down, starting and re-starting stuff.
yeah theres this one girl at my school that is like atsu. she will unfriend you if you made a slight joke about her and will distance people for no reason other than feeling bad. in the end she ended up with no friends and shes all alone.
Thx for pulling my thoughts into words + even better points. As an outsider who never watched a tectone or atsu video (honestly idk most of these CCs outside of zynox and doro), with mostly only this video as my context to the drama, i feel atsu hugely misjudged how a non fan would react to his last phase bombshell. Reminds me of a quote i hread somewhere about the danger of being known as a perfect mortality only person is that the moment cracks appear showing otherwise (which tbh honestly its just being human noone is perfect), noone would take your side even if your in the right conpared to a more corrupt but transparent about it person
@@xiahe6708 it was literaly like a joke made in the lunchtables. instead of communicating or talking she decided to start unfollow everyone of us on social media and ignored us in person
To me it seems like they all made poor choices and blew up their misunderstandings more than they should've. Everything could've been solved earlier with private communications, but once they started airing their grievances publicly and fans started harassing the creators, emotions got involved and no communication would've fixed it when there was resentment at each other for ruining each other's careers.
I’m about halfway through your video here and I just wanna say, you do an exquisite job of explaining and storytelling, slowing the pace when it’s necessary and explaining context when it’s needed. Awesome piece you’ve done here. The editing is appreciated as well. I’m not even a Genshin player and I understand stuff going on
It's amazing to think that in the world of influencers/content creators, there is no face-to-face or 1:1 communication, everything is public because, at the end of the day, it's "content" and views. But at what cost? They turned small issues into big issues and faced real-life consequences afterwards...
Atsu was the first ever youtuber I blocked way back then. I was just so sick of his victim mindset, literally played victim at everything. I'm not surprised at this drama at all.
@@lovableairheadmile6809 zhongli had issues on release, atsu said he's amazing. Zhongli got buffed, atsu was the guy who started the whole idea of "if u didn't pull for him when he was bad, u dont deserve him when he's good" or something (i may have misquoted, drama was long ago). Only reason zhongli got buffed was cause everyone complained, yet atsu was being a jerk to everyone who did
@@muhammadamirhamzah6477 So he's basically gatekeeping in a really stupid way then. It's in the same line of thought of those people that were hoping Kazuha doesn't get a rerun because a lot of people didn't pull for him on his initial release banner so everyone else doesn't deserve to get him like ever lmao.
Yeah i definitely see where Brax is coming from and sympathize with him more because ive been through exeperiences like that with friends before, it is very harsh that he had 2 years thinking about why he might have been disliked by atsu and could have probably been trying to nitpick certain thing's about himself that might make him be unlikable to others, glad no one is dead because of this drama and i also hope that this is the closure it finally gets
I guess one of the problems here is that many members of community have been through similar experience as Brax(me either), so they can sympathize with him. Meanwhile they haven't been through the same experience as Atsu and that's why they don't understand where is he coming from. 5+ years ago my cousin became a famous actor in my country.(He ended his career already). And every day tons of people was trying to befriend him and contact him. Many of that people were mentally unstable and some of them were trying to get my cousin's personal information and use it against him. Some of weird people were from the same industry or was trying to get into industry. There are people who was stalking even my SNS. And it was terrible. So I totally understand why someone who is surrounded by many people is being paranoid and don't know who they can trust. Basically, it's two sides of the same coin. One person is lonely inside because they doesn't have many people around them and feels rejected, other person is lonely inside because they surrounded by many people who can betray or take advantage of and it's hard to figure it out who they can trust to.😢 P.s. I'm not defending anyone.
While I relate to Brax's internal thoughts, I do think people are understimating that bad first impression when he approached Atsu to talk about sexual assault in an overly friendly way, that's a certified dropping spaghetti moment and honestly a person is entitled to want to keep someone at arm's lenght, to not want to become your friend, life isn't a TV series that all the characters NEED to form a relationship in a way or another (though all this mess did become a TV series eventually). At least during that point in time I think Atsu was on the right regarding this specific encounter, you see this weird guy approach, then he hyper-fixates on the encounter for months to come? Sometimes you just need to accept that you made a terrible first impression and move on, it's way more healthy for your mind and a better use of your time, not all "narratives" need a conclusion, trying to reach one just took a toll on him. I'm glad he's in a better place now but man, you don't need to suffer like that, I'm saying all this as a fellow introvert trying to become more social, I don't believe that I need to be defended when I flop a conversation terribly because I believe that it's a journey that I need to face to evolve, receiving rudeness for being unable to act normally in a situation with highly-sociable people isn't fair, but it's the default on society, the quicker you realize this, the quicker you can evolve by not letting every single mistake hurt your morale to keep going, there's always something new to learn or evolve but you can only do that in the first place if you try in the first place, and to try you need morale and to avoid wasting time in destructive loops, that's why while I feel Brax's feelings in a personal level, I also think Atsu wasn't completely on the wrong for having the first impression he did. And again, I'm only looking at this very specific exchange and Brax's decision to get to the bottom of the whole thing while hurting himself in the process, not the mess as a whole that would eventually put Atsu clearly on the wrong, obviously after a certain point Brax had the right to defend himself, but he did have a stalker-like behavior at first that wasn't warranted and just hurt his well-being.
From my own perspective and what have been présented in this video, Atsu feels like the type of guy who, if Atsu can't end an argument by "There's side A, there's side B, Side A is good and Side B is bad", he's gonna go "Actually there's no side, everyone is shit except me".
@@Juju2927i hardly watched atsu's content, but i watched one of his content about zhongli where he admitted himself that he has god complex. That certain video completely turned me off and decided to not bother with his channel anymore.

People who try to have the "last word" are such sad beings. Know when to stop, it's not a dog fight, that last man to sprout bs wins, there is a time to win and it was lying over, thus too late.
To me it reads as someone having a catastrophic melt down. His wife cheated, his career ended. I mean its just an emotional mess, I don't think he's a big bad manipulator. I think he's just mentally unwell
Man, I have seen two videos on this channel and you've broken down 3 of my favorite content creators to the point of making me question my own character and morality. Liked and subscribed.
1:41:00 Atsu shit talked about Tectone's breakup only to have the same ending, the difference is that Tectone didn't make it public that his wife cheated on him
Thank you for reiterating people’s perspectives at each twist. It made the video much easier to follow with so many creator’s involved. You can now say you’ve produced an intra-fandom war documentary. There’s a lot of work put into this and it shows. I had to rewatch to confirm that the flashpoint of it all was from someone not liking Chinese opera enough.
I, personally, feel like most of this drama is Atsu elevating issues for no reason. Multiple times in this video, a drama has been “solved” and then a couple months later, Atsu brings it back up. If something is so detrimental to your mental health and well being, why continue to bring it up? If it’s so detrimental to you, then obviously it must be detrimental to others as well.
The best thing to do is just shut the fuck up but he didn't but either way it's for the best because after atsu is gone hoyoverse invite more cc small and big after especially in hsr
My interpretation is that he's absolutely incapable of admitting fault, and instead verbatim projects his own fuckups and bad actions onto everyone else. There's an iota of self reflection but then it's like trying to force the same pole of two magnets together and he just mirror forces it out. Compulsive liar and manipulator, he can't help but write novels either just in an attempt to rationalize things to himself, and/or to get people under his thumb.
i feel like its because he has unresolved issues that he pushes to the side and then realizes that he's still upset or processes something and it becomes hard to ignore. he absolutely needs to go to therapy to talk about stuff like this rather than airing it but as someone with chronic anxiety and ocd i can understand and relate to how he feels. i don't think atsu believes himself to be entirely blameless, but is so hurt by whats been happening that he cannot be as objective about it as he would be were he processing it fully.
I've seen this way too many times both IRL and in moderating communities to want to give Atsu even an inch here. Between Atsu and Tectone, Atsu's the problem, and more likely than not, IMO, doing it knowingly. His behavior in general is manipulative, and it's kinda there even since what Mujin calls "Phase 1". Calling Tectone's friends "yesman" to get him to lose confidence in them, and them to lose confidence in him is a manipulation tactic to isolate Tectone. Randomly bringing up Brax in what is otherwise a message directly to Tectone about the drama is a tactic to sow paranoia in Tectone by making him doubt his relationships with anyone involved in the guide making community. Asking for talks in private is a manipulation tactic to isolate people and control the information they get from each other, while trying to look good to the public by "resolving it maturely". Edit: Holy shit, it gets way worse for Tectone, never fucking mind. He's a bully too, just a less manipulative one - not just someone who has fostered a toxic community. Doesn't excuse Atsu's behavior at all, since that was directed at "at whom it concerns", but Tectone clearly steps a few steps over the line of "just toxic and abrasive" there.
I enjoy that the only person in this drama I've ever subbed to is Zyox for his build vids, and that his involvement was making a meme that just blew everything up. I feel like I definitely pay attention to the right circles.
so atsu managed to have miscommunications with practically every genshin creator, and still didn’t stop to think that maybe the way HE was communicating with people was an issue? 🤨 like i’m sorry but he keeps yapping about how tectone constantly created problems for others, but he did the exact same shit himself
I know it sounds cliche, but he lacks self awareness to the degree that you question if he knows he even exists. Lmao. The dude keeps blaming another dude for everything going wrong in his life, even in situations where he's the one who made a mistake. Tectone is literally this guy's boogeyman. Lmao
He literally caused all the issues himself. EVERY BEEF IN THE VIDEO started with him vagueposting about people or bringing them into it, like brax and zyox. Like, he literally caused every single issue. The exact personalization of "I am my biggest opp"
After everything that's happened I just wish everyone reaches a peaceful conclusion and moves on. Cause like you said, everyone lost. No one wanted it to end up this way. This has gone on far too publicly for far too long.

I feel like half of this drama could've been prevented if only Atsu just acted like normal fucking human being when it comes to interacting with a new person
true
So many people tried to push this offline, so many chances for this situation to die down, and yet atsu refused to do this in a mature way. haiz
yeah... it's been proven time and time again having prejudice can only end in self loathing.

I also hope that any content creators in the space also do not face this type of blatant clique mindset in the future too.

in my opinion, Atsu had the right to be mad about SOME stuff, but some of the things in his life were problems that were his own that he was just lashing out and blaming others for. The way he went after Braxaphone just to nuke the man for being part of the community was sad.
istg being excluded like that so sad
Yeah, I feel like it's super easy to perceive Brax as some Machiavellian character when Atsu is (IMO projecting) painting him thusly - but as someone with anxiety, as someone dating an autistic person, I immediately just thought 'This man doesn't know how to socialize' whether that's anxiety, autism, or straight up just coming out of COVID lockdowns. It seems like Atsu is the Machiavelli here, claiming other's ought to be empathetic, aware, careful, when he himself is neglecting to do so for people like Brax.
So basically people who started 2 hours ago are still watching.

Not to defend Atsu at all, but I thought him going after Dish originated from her tweet about the Brax situation where she basically was like “I don’t know why Atsu did that and would like to know as well” and people took that as confirmation that he was guilty?🤔
and he might have done other things, but it seems like Brax got the contract after all, so in this specific case it wasn’t Atsu I think…
But please correct me if I’m wrong 🙈
Reason probaly that Atsu took paycuts for his friends to be invited and given more opportunities so he thinks they own him alot cause he lost so much money cause of them and at the end they backstab him.

A lot of the people that have an issue with Tectone either…
1. Started beef with him because they don’t like his opinions
2. Started beef with his friends/colleagues
Really, what it all boils down to is…respect people’s opinions, even if you disagree with them.

The Genshin lore community is genuinely heart warming from what I’ve seen. I follow quite a few of them (Dawit, Gamer Chronicles and others) and I always see theory comments, lore speculation and nice comments. I prefer the lore corner of the community
It's so much cozier than all this stuff 😮💨
The lore community is seriously so based
I think this is why I'm mostly unaware of the drama about genshin that a lot of people are yapping about, I play genshin mainly for the lore and not really for the gacha, and yeah its quite chill on the lore sides
I'm on that corner, my fellow friend.
The best part of the community
I don't know what prompt me to click and watch this video when I don't even play genshin impact. But as I started doing chores while listening, I want to say that I really appreciate and admire the work that went into researching and looking at every single POV you could find as well as emphasizing the viewer to make their own judgement on who to side, if they wanted to or not. It feels that nowadays with social media being so easily absorbed, a lot of people, no matter the age, almost never check their sources and believe almost every single thing they see, hear or read.

So I totally understand why someone who is surrounded by many people is being paranoid and don't know who they can trust.
Basically, it's two sides of the same coin. One person is lonely inside because they doesn't have many people around them and feels rejected, other person is lonely inside because they surrounded by many people who can betray or take advantage of and it's hard to figure it out who they can trust to.😢
No one is dead yet. Still waiting.
Everything about Phase 3 unfortunately felt like Atsu desperately trying to get the last word in on everyone in the community.
@@enesjeiLMAO that explains everything about the guy, no wonder he kept giving "I feel so important to the point I worry people will steal my spot", if he keeps thinking like that... The higher you are, the harder the fall as they say.
1:41:00 Atsu shit talked about Tectone's breakup only to have the same ending, the difference is that Tectone didn't make it public that his wife cheated on him
Yeah and atsu literally put it on the beginning for people to see before any of the actual information.
The guy blew himself up like an iraqi with a hand grenade. He should've just shut up when tectone let the beef die in his video in phase 1.
Well, can't cheat on someone if the relationship is already in the trash and they both knew it.
Thank you for reiterating people’s perspectives at each twist. It made the video much easier to follow with so many creator’s involved.
You can now say you’ve produced an intra-fandom war documentary. There’s a lot of work put into this and it shows.
I had to rewatch to confirm that the flashpoint of it all was from someone not liking Chinese opera enough.
and a meme for the phase 2
@@sofieberger8851lmao you
I've seen this way too many times both IRL and in moderating communities to want to give Atsu even an inch here.
Regardless of tectones involvement he also just seems to be a creep based on what he posts on other social media
@@cooltwittertag true
so atsu managed to have miscommunications with practically every genshin creator, and still didn’t stop to think that maybe the way HE was communicating with people was an issue? 🤨 like i’m sorry but he keeps yapping about how tectone constantly created problems for others, but he did the exact same shit himself
I know it sounds cliche, but he lacks self awareness to the degree that you question if he knows he even exists. Lmao. The dude keeps blaming another dude for everything going wrong in his life, even in situations where he's the one who made a mistake. Tectone is literally this guy's boogeyman. Lmao
he proudly claim he is just being british... so i guess he did a brexit.
All atsu does is yap about basically nothing
He literally caused all the issues himself. EVERY BEEF IN THE VIDEO started with him vagueposting about people or bringing them into it, like brax and zyox. Like, he literally caused every single issue.
The exact personalization of "I am my biggest opp"
After everything that's happened I just wish everyone reaches a peaceful conclusion and moves on. Cause like you said, everyone lost. No one wanted it to end up this way. This has gone on far too publicly for far too long.
Nah, tectone won...
A lot of views and drama money
Nah kektone cashed out all the rage bait in form of viewcount
Unless tectone dies tectone wins. He's known to be the troublemaker in gacha game community.
@@pleaseturnonthelightimscar9629 U understood nothing from this drama. Still saying it like Tectone's the bad guy
@@raghavshukla2005 his prior history says otherwise. I've seen several people targetted by his schemes, and the results are quite unsavory. Tectone has been doing this to gain clout and followers.
If you still wish to defend him, you're not exactly the person I'd talk to even out of necessity
Mujin, my man, I want you to know you are the only person on UA-cam who can post a 2 hour and 30 minute video and I actually try to find the time to watch it.
