- In this video I show you where to find the paint code for a BL Mazda 3 (2009 to 2013). This is the code you need to quote if you are ordering any painted parts for your car.
Some common codes on the BL are:
27A (velocity red)
34K (crystal white)
38J (celestial blue metallic)
38L (gunmetal blue)
38P (liquid silver)
38R (graphite mica) which looks almost exactly the same as.....
39T (dolphin grey)
41B (sky blue)

I can tell you like to be around cars. You were smiling from ear to ear❤ My son is a Architecture but his real passion is going to a sell and buying cars. He brings them back to their beautiful self. He loves to buy any kind of Volkswagen Beetles and VW bases. He goes to VW shows and will travel a good piece away to retrieve one.

Great video Paul, thank you and best wishes from Brisbane.
Excellent advice (as always) for us to learn and appreciate. It is so very nice to see you back teaching valuable info on automobiles again!
I just found this out recently when I took my hail damaged Toyota 86 to get assessed for repair. I now have a small bottle of the correct paint for touchups. 😁🤗👍
Great work! Paul.
Delighted to see you back to doing some of the things YOU love, Paul! To see you in this, there’s not a person who doesn’t know your very recent challenges who would ever believe you’ve been through as much as you have, you’re looking and sounding better and better every time! You are a true inspiration! You deserve all the very best! 😊
I have zero interest in car parts, but I watched your video carefully and completely. It was a treat to see you healthy looking, thinking clearly, and providing valuable information to those who are interested in car parts and paint. Way to go Paul in Perth. You have progressed so far.
No worries! Cheers. And have you applied the knowledge to find the paint code on your car? Paul.
Just the man for the job. I'm going to move to Australia so you can be my mechanic. Even though I don't have a car. We can just listen to Eminem together.
Brightened my day 🌞
Nice to see you looking bright and with energy 😊
You are looking wonderful 👍
Thanks Paul in Perth from Paul in Edinburgh just what I needed 😊
Delighted to see you Paul 🎉
Hey Paul, looking great today!
Hello, Fellow Warrior! Nice to see you in your work outfit, getting back to one of your life’s purposes. Hoping to follow in your footsteps and pick up my French horn again soon. (If I can’t have a didgeridoo, it’s the next best thing.)
Love and lots of hugs to you, dear man.❤❤❤
Looking and sounding great mate. Keep it up Champion
That was really interesting, even though I have no knowledge of cars 😂 Kazi in Yorkshire
So INTERESTING 💥‼️
❤️💖❤️God loves you!
Great video Paul.💛👍🚗🚗🚗
You have energy
That's great, I've learned something there👌
Paul - how did you become so interested in Mazda? Are they a huge brand in Australia? You have a lot of expertise and an incredible ability to explain it!
Hi Rick,
I became interested in Mazdas by accident. I had a Polish flatmate that was keen to learn to be a mechanic, and I suggested I buy a cheap smashed up car so we could tear the engine apart together and I could show him how an internal combustion engine (ICE) works. My plan was to sell enough parts off the car so I broke even.
So I attended a salvage auction, and got a smashed up DE Mazda 2 for the minimum bid. We didn't end up pulling the engine apart, but we did pull the automatic transmission apart, which is arguably a more interesting exercise.
I then sold enough off the car to cover costs and a little bit over. So I bought another DE Mazda 2. Then I got bored with the DE, so I bought a smashed up BL Mazda 3. And from there I just kept buying BLs.
Mazdas are popular in Australia, yes. Toyota would easily be the most common car on the road. Second would be either Hyundai or Mazda. Not sure.
As for brand new cars, here is the official list:

Thanks for the great questions.
Paul.
@@PaulinPerth your accidental relationships with Mazda are a metaphor for the serendipity of life. Thanks for a great background story to your love of all things Mazda!!
Wow 🎉 i am very happy 😄🎉
💜
Wow Paul you're amazing you really are, Im over the moon, you beat the cancer, I certainly did pray to Jesus Christ for your healing many times. Truly I am very happy for you!!! sending lots of love and best wishes always!! Xxo
Hi Suzie,
I haven't beaten it. I still have trace amounts in me, and they will grow over time. But I did live through November 2023, so I made it to extra-time.
The band is still playing, and we must dance.
Paul.
Hello Paul keep on dancing and enjoying every sunrise and sunset, seeks its everchanging beauty, capture its magnificence take photos of the exceptional ones. I certainly will continue to keep you in mind and also include you're lovely lady and will keep on praying for you Xxo!@@PaulinPerth
👍❤
that was interesting great to see you enjoying your hobbies
Can we request a video of more nature spots around you
Yeah, I can work that in. Sure! Paul.
Hi Paul, will you teach us please something about EGR valves in Mazda3. I changed it few times from scarp yard and although they look same from, I come across compatibility issues I think and they give error codes.
Hi Mahmoud,
I wish I could, but I've already sent my last wrecked car to the metal recycler. And to be honest, I've never changed an EGR valve, so I don't have any wisdom to impart unfortunately.
You'll work it out. You've got this.
Paul.
My mum has a Mazda 3 2012 model. I know I can refer to your videos or ask you if my mum needs any help with her car. I left you a message on Discord but not sure if you got it? Anyway, good to see you in your element Paul. 😁
Hey, can you do me a favour, and check where the manufacturer's plate is on your mum's car? I am curious if the US model is the same location as the Australian model, or on the opposite (left hand) side.
@@PaulinPerthyeah I noticed! You used to chat on the POG Family channel but I noticed you haven’t been on there either. I haven’t been on Discord much but wanted to reach out after you said you were feeling lonely. I care. ❤
Hi Paul! Great to see you and looking so well! Sending love❤.
The bigger question would be:
Why would anyone own a Mazda?
