This song is so beautiful and also simple, just talking about the beauty of a tree. So I actually think this piano accompaniment is more fitting than the original orchestra accompaniment. ❤

I know this is about a plane tree but I adored singing it once upon a time & used it as the processional at my wedding. A lovely change from "Hear Comes the Bride" (no offense if you chose this 'though)
I used this rendition of Ombra Mai Fu to commemorate the cutting down of a huge, magnificent but fatally diseased maple tree. When Ms Battle floated out that last high note I was so moved, and felt it was a fitting tribute to the tree’s long life. I guess the tree crew thought I was crazy but that’s ok, 😌

The singing, the tonal quality, the musical interpretation, were impeccable but the video presentation of having the singer turning away in such an early stage and became totally an insignificant image is unforgivable.

Heavenly❤. It is sad that with all the beauty and goodness in the world that people still resort to negativity and chaos.
I took inspiration from her when I performed this song for a choir competition back in middle school
