I could be so wrong, but I feel like he fell asleep right there because he was reassured by Belly. He heard her optimistic, encouraging words…and they brought him an essence of peace. I think they soothed him…her words were almost mesmerizing to him. It was all he needed to hear 🤍

I’ve been having feelings”-Belly❤️ I kind of was laughing in the scene because the way she said it and he didn’t even hear her since he was sleeping was kind of funny, but I really liked that she was going to tell him about her and Jere. I think that if Conrad was awake I wouldn’t think he would have taken it well since he was starting to love Belly again.😭

Have you read the books. It gives a good perspective of all characters. Also in the books, belly and Jere first kiss was really the end of episode 7.
Also why everyone blames on Belly is beyond me. She’s not perfect but if Anything , Conrad should be the one that tells Belly what he really feels instead of always throwing curveballs. Him prolonging to say what he really Feels is the root cause why there’s a lot of heartbreak! If he doesn’t want to say it then don’t wait freaking 2 years!

I mean it's definitely not wrong of her to have feelings for Jere or any other guy, but this just sounds soo odd of her, because just 2 nights before this she was screaming and crying for Conrad at the beach and now suddenly she has caught up feelings for his brother? I am just scared about the heartbreak Jere is gonna face if she turns him down by the next season, because Belly is such a player. Just have Conrad cry and tell her he loves her and she'll dump Jere for him. She still loves him, but she is fooling herself and ultimately fooling everyone around.
She wasn’t screaming and crying for Conrad. She was screaming and crying over their failed relationship. It’s grief of what was lost. It’s not a “I want you back” cry it was a “We could have had it all” cry. Idk if you are able to understand the nuance of that. But that was what that was. Because she ran back to the house, saw Jeremiah and tried to go to him, before he left because he saw Conrad. And Belly didn’t suddenly catch feelings for Jeremiah, they’ve actually been there for a while, but it was overshadowed by the Conrad of it all, plus they didn’t talk for a year so she never had to reconcile them. Now they are back together, and Conrad has been sidelined, it is bubbling back up. But besides that home girl has been mooning over Jeremiah ever since they made up. It has at least been a week, not two days.

Jeremiah is more like her rebound boyfriend to get over Conrad, and while she still feels for Conrad in a romantic way, she denies to accept it the way it is. It's not wrong of her to be confused but then, this whole thing will lead to hurting Jeremiah for the second time, and the first itself was such a blow because Jeremiah really does love her. I just don't want the boys to be hurt again, but with Belly acting like a fool, it's evident she'll end up hurting them (specifically Jeremiah) again.
First she is obsessed with Conrad then she starting to like Jer , then she hurts Jer to be with Conrad , Now again she kisses Jer & wants to be with him but she is again going to dump Jer & marry Conrad. Then after few years She is going to divorce Conrad & going to marry Jer & so on....

I hope that in season 3 they put in when Conrad tells Belly that he's still in love with her, the argument that they have the day after that, when Belly gets her necklace back, and a flashback scene when Conrad had to babysit Steven, Jeremiah, and Belly at the mall and when the boys went to go to the arcade, Belly went to go look at a crystal unicorn for two hours and when she realized that she was gone for too long, she went back to meet with the boys. Only to find out that Conrad had been looking for her. When he sees her, he gets mad and tells her how worried he was and that she can't hang out with them anymore. She cries and he apologizes. For her birthday or for Christmas, he got her that crystal unicorn but bigger.
It was just a sweet scene between the two.
I think her choosing Jer was the best choice. He is not going to have her emotions all over the place. If belly and Connie got married he wouldn’t be able to deal with life. And he would destroy belly’s heart as the years went on.

I mean……. You are not wrong. See the problem is these changes. In the book, Belly and Conrad had more of a situationship and it ends with him calling the whole thing bullshit and that he felt nothing the whole time. Jere asked him if it was okay, and Conrad was like why would you even ask question. We were nothing to each other. Do whatever. This however is messy boots. Belly and Conrad had a full blown serious relationship. So Belly and Jeremiah getting together is a serious violation. And Conrad should cut them off. I’m sure the show is gonna force him to give approval of it , even though he really shouldn’t. This was the storyline they made up, they should follow through with it to it’s natural conclusion. I’m afraid that they are gonna try to force it to fit the books. Because the show has already failed to acknowledge how messy it would be if her and Jeremiah get together. Whenever they bring up Conrad, it is always about if she still has feelings for Conrad, instead of “We shouldn’t do this because you’re Conrad’s brother and you’re Conrad’s ex. And this would definitely hurt him and destroy our existing relationships with him.” The writers never bring this up, and I feel crazy. They are not treating this like the problem it very much is.
I still like it but you are right. At least in other tv shows the brother talk about the messed up situation . I dont understand why they changed some of the book plotlines, they made the situation more messy. Still i feel like the next episode will address this probleml
I believe Belly only gets to live in this world once so she and Jer are meant to be cuz they’ve always adored each other and spurred reach other on to be better versions of themselves, they can talk and comfort each other and that kiss just went beyond just a kiss it was an ocean of passion entangled with the tenderness of love,
Love is not just about attraction, it’s also about communication and happiness which Conrad and belly’s relationship lacked it was just full of regrets like she said she was in love with the dream of Conrad, but is she living a dream or a life ?

boy oh boy you got another thing coming when season 3 hits. belly and jere are not meant to be, in fact they’re incompatible because they were never meant to be anything but best friends. it’s painfully obvious but ofc they’re going to date for 2 years because they think they like/love each other. “better versions of themselves” where? where is this better version? all i ever see is jeremiah constantly making belly feel guilty and bad for ever being with conrad and shutting her down when she wants to have a conversation about it. and you have belly having to comfort his fragile ego because of how jealous and insufferable he is. can’t say that’s gonna be a healthy or long lasting relationship. can’t say i will care when belly inevitably goes back to conrad leaving jere in the dust, now i’m not saying he deserves it but he’s the one who decided to interfere in matters of the heart, he’s made his bed so now he must lie in it.

He has his beef with his brother but that too leans heavily on Conrad for not really seeing Jere, I mean the guy assumed just bcz it's Jere he can't love Belly, everything's a fling or whatever...went and broke his brother's heart casually. Jere even made it clear if Belly is not sure about him she should not push for it. I mean Belly is the real problem here, she could take some time to figure things out, none of the brothers are running away or anything. Jere is truly in love with her and proven it throughout. So 'insufferable' doesn't really apply to him.

The way Steven looked at belly and Conrad. Was so cute omg. I think that Conrad will let Belly and Jer be together. I’m okay with it for now but I hope by the end of season 3 she changes her mind. Their not as compatible plus belly and Connie have more chemistry. If people just knew how much Connie has done for belly.

Honestly this episode was okay, i really do admire Steven I think that out of all the episodes Steven and Taylor are the best characters. They have grown and developed. Belly and Conrad they have hurt each other a lot. It was because Belly misunderstands him. Which is never his intention, that’s why she is avoiding Conrad because she’s afraid of getting hurt. She’s doing this by getting with Jere. In reality, Jere is a people pleaser, fake and is jealous of everything Belly and Conrad have.

Yup. Conrad is not toxic. He just goes through a lot of emotions because of his moms cancer. People keep saying that he is toxic and rude. In reality, being an older sibling is difficult and hard for him. He feels like everything is his fault, and he has to take on the responsibility. Do people even notice that he’s grieving. He loves Belly so much more than anyone can imagine. The muffins, the infinity necklace was because he loves her. The flashbacks with Belly and Conrad ( the dance scene, the carnival, the time at her birthday). He was always willing to do stuff for her. Some of it might have been painful, Conrad never intentionally tried to hurt Belly. He loved her even before she got pretty. He’s done way more than Jere. Jere is full of jealousy and is a people pleaser. He’s cute, and hot. But that’s not what a relationship is. The volleyball scene is also a good example of this. During the tournament, belly got mad at Jere because the only thing he would focus on at the volleyball tournament was her. Not the goal of winning. Whereas Conrad he’s more compatible, he has his flaws but continually works to improve himself

I know from my heart that Belly and Conrad still have feelings for each other. I know Episode 7 was different based on the ending but if we look at, the connection between is still shown. They had a lot of moments together as a couple than they had in Season 1. Belly still shows the same concern for Conrad and know she was always there for him. If Conrad was awake and hear Belly confess her feelings to him, maybe he could have realize the same thing. I'm so scared to see what happens in Episode 8. Idk what to expect but I know it's going to be good.

I think Conrad will be fine. Jere is not a good person for Belly. He will break her heart. So obvious, he forces Belly to be in a relationship with him. When he dosen’t get what he wants he gets all jealous and acts like a baby. When Belly and Connie were together they made sense. They never intentionally tried to hurt Jere. They even included him. I think because Jere will be in a relationship with Belly he’s going to try and make Conrad feel left out. Conrad is so mature for that. Conrad will let them be in a relationship because he loves his brother so much. That’s true love
clearly for me although of course Belly adores and loves Jer she is not in love with him this season happens over a few days and I doubt that it will be enough to have feelings for Jer. She thinks and convinces herself to have some to move on from Conrad because she thinks they will hurt each other again. But with Jer it was more about the good moments and the pleasant attraction but they will never have a real connection like with Conrad.
jere and belly are connected through their childhood, so it’s mainly familiarity and safety that belly’s “feelings” stem from. i think she thinks that since her and conrad are no longer together, it means that they’ll never get back together again and with susannah gone, and all of them grieving still, it makes sense she’d cling to the most available and ready brother at this point in time. she’s not in love with jere and she never will be, she might think it’s love but at the end of the day her love for conrad will outshine any future relationship she has with jeremiah. there will always be three people in that relationship 😂

I don't know it's weird. There are a lot of complex feelings belly has regarding Conrad that are all mixed up together. She is only starting to develop feelings for jere so it would obviously be not the same as the crush she had for Conrad for 6 years. The thing is while I agree she definitely is denying her feelings for conrad I don't think she is incapable of moving on from him. I take issue with the idea that her feelings for jere are simply rooted in familiarity as if the same cannot be said about Conrad. Conrad represents a lot of things for belly. Her first crush, first real boyfriend, first time etc. There is the promise she made to look after him for suzanna, the regrets regarding how their relationship worked out the fact that she is honestly only seeing him for the first time. That being his flaws getting past this idealized FL version she painted in his head, her desire tok move on combined with the fear of not getting hurt again. It's perfectly natural to get confused.
