The only thing I would add if I were to try would be disposable gloves. But I’m picky about my hands being dirty or dried out. Looking forward to the next one.
Hi! We are trying to give the bike a freshen up and new look without going completely crazy. In the next episode the bike really starts to look different, all being well that episode will go live Sunday evening! That’s a good point about the gloves, I do normally wear a pair, Latex Gripper Gloves are particularly good and last a long time and you don’t sweat in them! 😁👍

Great work on those case protectors Phil , came up as good as new ,I done my old honda xr Engine side casings with normal Halfords rattle cans and came up great ! I used a satin clear coat to finish them off and they have handled the heat no problems . Had to remove all the old paint beforehand with some paint stripper right enough and that is a messy job.!But great work , the wee triple coming along great .Great work.👍👍😁
Very useful info, thanks Phil. About to attempt to spray my Speed Twin crankcase, which decided to shed its paint skin while in France. I blame the heat and grit on the back roads!

Hi Phil, for those tips as they are very and thanks again and as I said I have a triumph street tripel rs 2018 and they will come in very use full as I am not very good at working on my street tripel rs but am willing to learn and me and my son have changed a swing on a Suzuki gsx 600 track bike and this all great help and look forward to learning more thanks on the next vid to come

Great video Phil nice repair I would try and fix it like you have but not on my own bikes on someone else's but I have OCD 😂so I would end up replacing with new on mine own🇬🇧👍
Thanks Richard. I do like to tinker with cars and bikes it had to be said, and it’s nice to show what can be done in this throw away age we live in. The repaired and freshened up engine case protectors look better in real life than they do on the video, the camera seems to pick up all the flaws! 😬
