The worse part is all the new people in the comments saying how cool and they are going to try it. Great way to destroy a hobby. By showing new people how to do something that will 100% fail, piss them off, cost them money, and make them never try again...... This video is a AD for a laser cutting machine and they used FPV to try and get attention. Just wrong.
This has been done before. We don't build quads like this, because it's terrible in regards to performance, durability, and resonance. Also, it's more expensive and heavier. I love unique and interesting builds too, and this video was well done, but it was essentially an ad for fpv brand manufacturers, not a guide for newcomers to the hobby on how excel in FPV.
@@willpowerfpv3246 I agree. All this is going to do is make a new person mad and never come back.

Using an ABS body with metal arms is a very bad idea!! Especially when the stack screws go thru the arms. When it crashes, the arms are not going to break, the body is, destroying all the electronics inside. A novelty idea, just not practical.
Just why?! Except showcasing JLCPCB additive manufacturing, there is very little reason to repeat this. - Metal (I suppose with 100% infill) is heavy as heck. - 3D printing a metal sheet would be much faster using a plasma cutter or such, and you don't make use of the advantages. - ABS is not stiff and heavy, and basically worse even than PLA which we don't use because it's not strong enough (at least you didn't use it for the arms). - Lastly I wonder about the air flow for the VTX. There may be a way for metal additive manufacturing to create a cool drone. It'd be more expensive than carbon fibre, and probably have worse specs in pretty much all regards except coolness. However I'd at least print most of the frame with small slots for the motors, perfect fits for the electronics, and such. Just to give it something special. May be end up looking like a DJI Avata but in metal.
Very nice build, however I would go with somewhat less height of the body... that ESC/FC stack si massive and takes too much space for my taste, makes it look too bulky. That said, again - a very nice build and nice flight too! You get a like & subscribe :D
Thanks for the nice comment. In terms of efficiency, it was a bit heavy compared to the carbon frame. It was an experimental project. It generally works.
I dont want to be that guy, but I´m pretty sure that the flight footage was taken with another drone.. the first thing is that in the external shoot of the flying quad there is no Gopro on it, could be that the shoot was taken with the gopro and put on afterwards.... but the main thing is that there is no way that the arms screws havent worked their way loose or just straight up stripped the ABS in the first minute of flight.... I mean these screws cant even be tightend since there is no nut on it, just straight into the 3d print.......
3d print body lol.. for cinematic it will fly. But freestyle? Never working with high PID's and less filter settings. The other bigger problem is bad durability
Trash drone way too heavy costs to o much and the frame body is way too brittle and the harmonics are Huge most likely. One crash and it will become a yard sale

Amazing quadcopter build! Also, some very cinematic FPV drone shots... wow! 👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks for your nice comment and support bro.
Amazing!🔥
Always amusing when people with no real grounding in engineering try and "design" something....This is a prime example...😳😳🙄😏😏🇬🇧

Awesome video. I have shocked when I whatched it. I have not used before that kind of material. I want to test it. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I follow your work with interest. Workmanship, shooting quality and transitions are all very successful. Congratulations. 🎉
Thanks for nice comment and supports 🙏
Omg i wish this video is a bit longer
Love seeing unique builds. All these negative comments come from those who can't do for themselves and can only follow.
Or from people with more education then the rest.......

Yea i was surprised too with the material combination...
There's a reason why nobody uses stainless steel or plastic for the frame lol
@@shaneintegra agree, carbon still the best
So it should be better using metal to build both body and arms?

is the cinematic drone shots used by gopro or the fpv drones cam?
