This is the type of song that seems like it has existed floating around the universe since it began, and just needed the right artist to tune into it and bring it to life. Has an almost mystical quality to it. Definitely the opening song to the soundtrack of my life.
I AGREE 💯 Seen them in Austin Texas, it was my first time seeing them and it changed my life..... but I didn't fully appreciate them,,,, so I seen them at red rocks, a few years ago and I really listened and they changed my life again! Now I'm going to see them in Southern Ohio in a few months and I fully expect them to change my life again 🙃 I'M A STS9 FAN 4 LIFE!!!
My first STS9 show/festival. I was happily laying in the dirt at the front of the stage on the left side. So unbelievably exhausted from all the other amazing sets I couldn't dance. That didn't stop me from having the profound understanding that STS9 came to be my favorite band and helped me see and love festivals and music in a way I never though possible. Fuckin' Rothbury
right there with you bud, after ten years, two concussions and all the drugs this show is still one of the most vivid memories i have, they played for 4 hours, sketched out and had to leave after an hour went to go see an hour girl talk set and came back to see them play for over another hour and a half
I lost my very dear friend to cancer this mth. we were at this show together.. he had the best time of his life that night.. I will miss you forever kiddo.. i left my Sts9 patch with your mom.. I will see you in our next lifetimes.. where neither one of us will get cancer and have to endure this awful demise.. much love
I'm not even a big sound tribe fan, actually don't like alot of there stuff, but JEBUS! This song is exactly what I look for in a song... it offers everything!!! Everyone in that place is smiling from ear to ear.
I remember walking down the path from the main stage to this stage (Sherwood Court? Ranch stage?) after that banger of a Cheese show and walking into the intro to this Circus. I remember thinking... Life = Complete
Will always blow minds how this song evolved so beautifully over "time" from the very first time they played it. Tribe is sum sacred shit. Remember be good n keep it in fam💚
Still jamming in 2019. While I miss Murph and the era of time that came with, so happy 2.0 lives on and appreciate the new jams more and more by the day.
How can anyone not love this band and song? 3 people must be deaf and only disliked the song b/c they can not hear the epicly beautiful sounds that come from it.
Bands like STS9 help people realize there is no god and that we all are gods and universes within itself. After seeing STS9 I didn't need faith in "god" or any sort of drug induced feelings to understand this universe is one, making loving to itself infinitely and constantly expanding and exploring forms of conciousness. Welcome to the universe my friend, were here to stay.
Ive watched this set 1,000 times over. This night --as is with any tribe show--was absolutely spiritual. Das me with the Shark in the beginning of the video. The sea of inflatable animals was like nothing i've ever experienced. My favorite part about this night was when the band left for set break. Ya'll did some magic with the lights and the stage making it look like the forest. Then thousands sat quietly and calmly while we waited for you to come back on. Wish i still had access to the full set on iClips :(
Best. Festival. Ever. Everything was beautiful. All bands slapped, hard. Haven’t seen a better lineup since. Anyone remember the dude just blasting MJ outside the gates with the old school looking boom box? Magical. Unicorns and fairy dust and rage juice all around
wowwww.I'm blaaaaazed right now, never seen this video and never heard this song, and all i can say, is this song is REEDIKULOUSLY AMAZING...and that's a severe understatement =D
Dude I remember those exact thoughts. My buddy and I looked at eachother and instantly knew we were where we were suppose to be lol. Cheese was epic and this was the perfect come down! Carl!!!!!!!!!!!
i was the guy waving the green turtle floaty up front by murph. wicked f-ing show. my 98th tribe show and definitely my most memorable. hunter even played fword for me. can't wait for summer camp and wakarusa. will we see a camp bisco appearance?
I need two things to happen to make 2011 incredible; 1. Rothbury to happen again this year, and 2. Tribe to play two nights again. I'm still rockin my 2009 wristband.
Last time I checked. It was me who bought that green turtle. At shop-rite no less. Also all of those inflatable animals/blow up beach balls were due in part to the NJ crew who represented.
o and can we get rothbury 09's performance (friday and saturday) on dvd for gia sake. i mean its been like 3 years since "live as time changes" and frankly sound tribe we need more footage. more sound tribe....all the time. much love.

Amen to that!
You just described every great STS9 moment right there.
What a beautiful way to describe this magic. Absolutely makes sense
Man. This brings me back. 21 at the time. Just having the best times with my close friends. Thank you STS9.

Dude literally my exact thought. 21 with best friends
Amen. I was 19 and still remember this set so vividly. Turned me onto a whole world of music I wasn't familiar with. Time flies.
Likewise & yea there are many others too
This brings me back. I love hearing the fireworks in the background. Special night for me in many ways.
We didn’t know how good we had it back then
This is the best festival I have ever attended bar none. The Dead, Cheese, Yonder, Nas, Umphreys, Bob Dylan, Willie, Toots….insane lineup!!!
My first, and I was definitely spoiled. Havent been to any in years but i always have fond memories. Cheers!
I'll never forget this moment in my life, even if my brain gets scrambled, id still know I was here
I was there. EPIC weekend. See you out there and stay after it. Head towards the light dear brother
i legit just told myself the same thing this was the best show of the best weekend
Hahaha same! And that Eoto set that night too!! 2009 was a damn good year! Happy decade!
every time i see sound tribe it is the most amazing day of my life.
Zach Velmer is a rediculously underrated drummer. He truly is one of the greats
Keeps it tight
I AGREE 💯

Quite possibly the best song ever written
IF THERE IS A HEAVEN I WANT THIS TO BE PLAYING WHEN I WALK THROUGH THE GATES.

How i miss that moment. Thanks for making Rothbury more magical than the magical world of Disney.

wow, this song makes me feel like i have absolutely nothing to worry about
Favorite song of all time.

My old shirt brought me here...the best.🎉🎉
Was on my bucket list that I had to see this song live and finally did in Charleston last week. Pure Bliss!

Was there and it was glorious!
How can anyone not love this band and song? 3 people must be deaf and only disliked the song b/c they can not hear the epicly beautiful sounds that come from it.
One of the more aptly named songs of all time…I still remember when everybody threw those floaties up all @once. It was somethin Elsie.
