I can’t believe some people pay these prices. Like $275-300k for a watch that retails for $51k? Unreal. Like, I get that it’s rare, but good lord. I also don’t understand why Rolex continues to sell to people who are obviously flipping these. I was told that flipping a watch would destroy your relationship with your AD. Yet somehow, there are still lots of VIP clients getting all sorts of Rolex’s, APs, Pateks, etc. who are flipping them and continue to get the next big model. I hear some ADs withhold the warranty cards for a year to try and counter it, but it would seem to me that they’d make the purchaser produce the past three watches they’ve bought or something at time of pickup of the new one. Like some way to slow this down.
Someone has to know that like 50% of the people getting to buy Panda Daytonas are flipping them to double their money. So why are these guys not getting blacklisted?
Guys, guys, get it right - for the love of Pete! The Panda is a white dial with full black sub dials! Get it right! I also smh when I see these videos. Most gray market prices are still very high (at least 10-30% over MSRP, depending on model) when comparing current prices with prices after COVID-19! You can only purchase a few select Rolex watches at ADs for MSRP! No discounts. I know because I’m currently looking/shopping for another Rolex! I’m not buying again until the market corrects to pre-pandemic levels. I got lots of time and I’m also patient. Now, if only astute consumers would follow my lead, prices would drop commensurately…

You forgot to to include the day date rose gold olive dial at one point they were at nearly 100k now it’s half that

I also agree, specially since I've seen a lot popping up on IG. I don't think it will be as rare as people make it seem to be.

I travel often long trips and I've started to really appreciate quartz, its simply always reliable, my digital watch and phone died many times leaving me not knowing what time it is for a whole day and I couldn't trust mechanical watches either. Now I wear quartz for daily and wear mechanical only when going out for fun or some events like weddings etc but I always make sure to leave a cheap quartz watch in my car or bag.

The Le Mans Daytona actually has a different movement, the chronograph goes up to 24h (because of the 24h of Le Mans) whereas the regular Daytona just goes up to 12h. I mean, it's not a lot, but it is technically different.
The latest drum from Kino. Drop, drop, and a little more. The guy has been calling it right for over a year now. Prices will fall for the foreseeable future. Hold your money if the price isn't right. Don't be a 🍭🍭🍭sucker.

Let me correct you about the Lemans daytona. The movement has been modified and is unique compared to any other Daytona. Also saying, its white gold shows that are are behind on the movement towards quiet luxury.

East Coast Pandas are sub 25. Before covid you could get them for 18 wholesale.
dealers price are 15-20% higher than real selling price. Dont forget
It’s great to see prices coming down, but we haven’t seen nothing yet. The summer of 2024 will be awesome to see as prices fall through the floor. Massive layoffs coming in high paying jobs, high interest rates, the free money and cheap money has dried up. People will be clucking off watches like crackheads 😂 they are already doing it with sneakers. Dumping grails to pick up nickels in front of a steam roller. 😂 yeah overpay for a watch now if you want to. You’ll come to regret it in 8 months and NO you will never see watch prices skyrocket again unless interest rates go to zero. Don’t hold your breath.

The panda Daytona will be in 24,25k range and John mayor Daytona will be in mid 50k range in the next 6 months
The John Mayer having recently discontinued will hold its value significantly better than the panda.
The John mayor won't be able to find under 60k. They are discontinued & very collectable now

Don’t you think watch dealers need to stop using pandemic prices to compare where prices were? It’s a once in a lifetime situation there was a massive amount of money flowing around interest rates were very low. That’s not going to happen in our lifetime again so let’s compare pre pandemic to now since it’s post pandemic. Those 2-3 years are a one of situations and those prices never have and never will happen again.
Whatever this guy says the market price is, take 10-20% off and you should be about right.
15202 he says go for 60-70k. They actually go for 50k.
Panda Daytonas he says go for 28-30k. They actually go for 26k.
and so on and on...
To be honest I know jackshit about watches and I am from Australia but if I lived close to you and was filthy rich I'd only buy watches from you as I trust you... mean that I always watch anything you put out all Producer Michaels video since he started
I am 55 only ever had 1 watch sad I know a Timex got on my 10th birthday lost it when in the navy in a brothel at 21 sad but true.

Panda’s are so overrated
The only people who were and are buying at these prices are Dealers and from each other 😂. In times of low supply this artificially drove the prices up..now most of these watches you can again get below retail.
The patek is actually going for 125 po and fresh 150-70…
