Can you do a video about taking a loan and doing a loan to show us how it works
Imagine; you are a DEV and they're millions of ideas/use cases/possibilities you can create and deploy to help the ecosystem. Then, you create something against the 8 years commitment/use case that could/will hurt the user as soon the user gets weak hands or as soon he gets in a temporary state of spending or buying something irrelevant with his saving.. Thats 100% against the 8 years commitment and this 8 years commitment is probably the best tool/use case that ICP can offer at the moment. Fiat has credit card destroying/affecting the people and now ICP has IDGeek AKA pawn shop app. Not good.

This sounds very risky and cut throat. Is icp the Wall Street of crypto? I thought crypto was meant to be an alternative to the existing system.
When I locked my neurons I thought its a final move.I dont like that now I have a temptation to put my icp as a collateral.

How do you participate in a loan? If I go to any of those load agreements, there is no place or button to actually participate in the loan?
Should I feel bad about taking someone's whole bag because they couldn't pay a few iCP back on time?
I wouldn't because the person accepted the terms of the loan.
@@aaronsanchez2730 Of course I get that part, personally I agree with the loan and high interest and penalties, obviously the terms are clear, I don't know if I could do that for myself, I'd really have to look more into that to see if there's other options than just taking their whole bag, not sure how to work that out if it's locked for 8yrs.
@thorazine0076 Wow, the other person must be hurting badly. If you feel convicted, I'll give them back half their bag back. I would only do half so that they learn to pay attention to the terms they agree upon; More like a lesson. But quite frankly, it is rightfully yours...thing is you just never know what people are going through. If you feel led to give back a portion, just know God always repays and see your act of kidness. God bless ❤️ I just saw its lock...now that sucks

@@HipolitaofZion I don't know how I could give them back that much of their bag as it's locked in staking, for maybe 8yrs?. ... I'm not judging anyone, I know I wouldn't have a clear conscious, so I probably won't do this at all. I have 5k ICP to be unlocked in DEC 2024 among other cryptos, plus a smaller 8yr bag. People should be more thoughtful when commiting to these long term bags to avoid these desperate situations. So many people are like 8yr Gang! Yolo! Appreciate your thoughtful response 🙏
