I know it's selfish, but I really wish their U.S. tour bus would break down in Reno some day and they get bored and decide to play a show. Probably the only way we'll ever get to see them. This song is haunting and wonderful. Wizards of sound taking us to new worlds...
It's a delicate and fragile time of night, as I trawl through media hoping to find something that will set my brain ablaze, when this song comes up, and unfolds in to this reality, weaving my want for it in to my past, and making itself an irrevocable part of me. In all its aspects it plays with every part of my being, summoning parts of past, future and other selves, mixing their physiologies, ideas, and mindsets at random. As I'm being broken down and reassembled in to creatures and beings that I am foreign to, thrust through landscapes that make my soul itch, a thousand years pass, and then I'm gently deposited back to from where I was taken, the most mundane existence imaginable. I yearn to be a stranger to myself, and hit play, maybe for the first, maybe for the thousandth time.
MRS is one of these bands where the vocals are great in live, I can't wait to hear this amazing singing girl live too. Hope she ll be part of the shows
They toured in brazil a long time ago and recorded one of their album there they were supposed to record in usa because of an administrative issue that made them inable to cross the border ^^ stranded in arcadia is the name of the album i think.
I really like the typical MRS way of singing. Even more because this time itd a female voice. Great adition. This Band sends me always with every Song on different Trips. Big Danke from germany.

Time signature for the main riff is as follows 2 note anacrusis followed by 7 5 7 6 2 (or 7 5 7 8, but its better to break that last 8 measure bar into 6 2 for ease of playing/reading). The time signature change is lead by the 1-2 slide on the D string. Its a funky time signature. Fort a minute, I thought they were playing a Greek 13 which would have been nuts. I am using a Pitch Fork pedal with it set to P4 on full blend with my guitar in standard tuning, combined with a Phase 95 turned almost all the way down and a Fender Full Moon pedal with the bass turned down with the gain cranked and a Decimator at the end of the chain to knock some of the noise down. It sounds exactly the same. Have fun!!!!
