The fact u had to pay £20 to have a 5 percent chance of a toty that u couldn't even sell to improve ur team cos all packs are untradeable just shows the problem
the sheer amount of untradeable packs are 100% the problem, why would anyone ever buy normal packs when ea are giving out packs that give 20x85 etc

Why not give an extra position change to the one who guesses the formation, since 3 and 5 at the Back are so good this year.

My go-to memory of old FUT was my first ever full in form team on fifa 11, which cost me less then 30k and took about 2 months to grind the coins for, I miss those days of fifa markets because only the very very best cards were unattainable without massive effort but even you could still compete with the 83-85 Ovr range if they had specialised stats and that’s before we get onto silver teams
Silver teams in FIFA 13-15 were so much fun, a lot of hidden beasts and 5 star skillers.
I like the idea of putting the players you guess from the other person on your bench in case of injuries.

4-1-2-1-2 (narrow) could be a bad formation because the meta is just the byline, since the midfield is so centered it leaves the sides open for fullbacks and wingers
I got that formation and I put my 2 cm players instructions to the side so they play Like a Lm Rm that solves The Problem

The thing with Kroos’s price is that people do expect it to reach a 95 rated, but even if it does there’s no way a 95 rated kroos is gonna be worth 3 mil. The pace that crazy cards are getting released now is wayy faster than previous games, there’s gonna be free cards that are equivalent by like April
Plus, he’s gonna get the full upgrade in like June. The fully upgraded card isn’t gonna be even close to 3 million coins towards TOTS
He's not 3m because people predict him to get 95 rated because even if he did he's not worth that much. This is why he's so expensive:
1. People stopped playing after toty because the game has died so less people packing cards.
2. All packs are untradeable inckuding store packs so no ones packing cards they can sell.
3. Pack weight is horrendous because of the addition to females so there's practically double the amount of cards than last year but same psck weight if not worse.

If you guess the formation, add in an option to choose the persons custom tactics rather than an additional trump or choosing their formation

You should change rules for the second trump card
If you guess the formation you can change formation or get a guaranteed trump right at the end of guessing with the opponent mixing their squad up and you taking a stab in the dark

My favourite Fifa was Fifa 19 (I think) where you could grind league SBCs, you had to do all the teams in a league and you would get tradeable packs and a special player at the end

Matchmaking team ratings would be the simple answer. I’d love to be able to use non rare teams, silver teams and bronze teams etc again. You have to go for OP every time nowadays.
451 is the formation I play I love it,so fun to use
I also miss when gervinho, doumbia and ibarbo was a god squad. You could beat any team in the game with them type of players which were 1k each… now everyone has 1M+ players in every position. No original squads it’s like the same team every match
Part of the price is the rarity like those icons that price stays high because nobody packs them
Player prices are only so high this year because they are so hard to pack and if you do pack 1 more than likely it's untradable so nothing on the market
The problem is best summed up as - it’s too easy to get a very good team and too hard by comparison to get the best team

It's an illusion that cards are more attainable now, yes you can easily get some insane cards but the top cards are harder to get than ever this year
what if instead of changing the formation when you guess, you're allowed to put down one extra guess on your board on a single round. think having it every round is a bit op
or maybe you are allowed an extra icon / chem breaker / position change

I'm more worried about coming across a team that has 2 or 3 special cards than I am against God squads.
Instead of two trump cards, They should fetch the extra guess per section back… We only saw it for a few episodes.
I think @AJ3 should change the extra trump card rule to something more like a tier downgrade. So if they get a special card, they can downgrade it to the card before. So a previous promo card, or the gold card

Lm to lw and cm to cdm are legal. Its just positions they wouldnt be able to play on like fifa 20 that are illegal

On the transfer market ea ruined it by having all these packs that are untradeable. IMO you shouldn’t be able to spend money on packs you can sell the players from, that’s scummy

Let's be real, the vast majority of games either on the phone or gaming system. They are all pay to win in at least some aspect. You pay for packs or upgrades, some sort of evo whatever it is generally the more you pay the more benefits you will get.
Is 4-5-1 still just as bad? Isn’t even good for squad building anymore either as links aren’t there
I've been saying this for soooo long, just nerf trivela's, I keep encountering rats like Andy whose only chance of scoring a goal is going for trivela's that are unstoppable.

Sorry, but EA aren't to blame, the consumers are. If people didn't buy packs, EA wouldn't be selling them. They are just a business and will do what works to make them money. Everything dumb that exists and persists in this world is because enough people want it.
The market is a joke atm. You only get untradeable packs and the top tier cards are all 5 mil plus.
Edit: you’ve to pack roughly 1100 88+ tradeable players to buy a singular Toty VVD
