Cancer rising! And the only son with 2 older sisters and 2 younger, also parents divorced so mainly raised by mom so spot on when you were talking about upbringing. Also if you ask my older sisters they'll say I'm my moms fav and she spoils me lol

I’ve always wondered why Capricorn is perceived in such a masculine light if it is technically considered a feminine/negative sign like Cancer. I’m starting to feel like Capricorn can represent something like the Crone woman archetype. Like the seasoned wise woman or the working mom. They both prioritize providing wisdom or resources to the ones they hold dear and then Cancer fills the role of the more nurturing side to motherhood or the pregnant woman as you explained. Anyway, I’m just wondering if you had any thoughts on why Capricorn is considered a feminine sign but then we also see it as the typical straight laced business man. I'd say the Crone is more the Waning Moon (natal Moon phase is an overlooked, but important part of astrology). Capricorn's masculine qualities most likely come from it being ruled by Saturn, the same way Scorpio has somewhat masculine qualities because it's ruled by Mars (Pluto if you use modern astro) and why Libra is a masculine sign but has feminine Venusian attributes. I use yin/yang more than feminine/masculine.
I've been considering this a lot too! I was actually just brainstorming a video all about masculinity and femininity in astrology
Oh cool! I would definitely be interested in that video. And yeah it makes sense for the more masculine traits in Capricorn to come from Saturn’s rulership. I know that some astrologers believe that the traditional rulers like Jupiter and Mars that rule over two signs will have each sign being the feminine or masculine expression of the planet. So Capricorn is the feminine expression of Saturn and Aquarius is the masculine expression of Saturn, traditionally. But yeah, I think the waning moon fits the Crone archetype, as well.

I have 2 Cancean sons & one also has Cancean rising & a whole lot of this info sounded exactly like him! I have a natural natal chart with Aries Rising & no planets in the 4th house in Cancer at all but I have found that him & I can only spend short amounts of time in each others company. My other son has Aquarius Rising & we can chat literally all day, we have a fantastic connection.

I'm pisces sun scorpio moon and cancer rising (yes waaay too much water) and had 4 boyfriends so far. 3 of them were programmers litterally dealing with 1s and 0s all the times and joking about themselves being a robot 🙈🙈🙈
Also, I've met 3 people in my life who are capricorn and my intuition makes me feel intense exitement around them, one became my now boyfriend. The problem is just- I often feel that my feeling are being invalidated and joked about by him and he allways tries to dominate me/ push me into doing things I don't want to do.
I understand that my subconciousness chose him (and the exs before) to ballance me out but this is so damn hard and hurting, I sometimes just want to run away...

It’s a tough world out there for us Cancer risings and I for one have a jam packed 7th house! Remember that not only is your partner here to teach you about your shadow side but you’re here to teach him about his. The best thing is to treat him with patience, insight, and understanding, and leading by example with your compassion. The hardest part is emotional regulation when our feelings are hurt but patience and compassion are the most important things in relationships! I’m a Pisces cancer moon and rising yeah you pretty much nailed it I was forced into my shadow really young you know whats really weird though is that I attract Leos and Aquarius not Capricorn and Virgos.
Ascendant in Cancer here, Capricorn Sun and Leo Moon. I just came from the Sun in the 8th video. I have been into astrology since a child but... I still feel that I don't have any intuition whatsover :(
But, then again it can be this feeling of "I have to be successful through intuition". Someone told me, with fear there's no intuition. Intuition comes from love. I'm trying to un-learn fear. Fear from being considered irrational, from making a mistake, etc...

Yes, all my life I´ve naturally been linked with Capri people as friends or like my ex-wife who has her Moon in Capri and her Sun in Cancer.
So now I get it totally: My ex-wife has her Sun on my Asc., she also has her Moon on my Mars and her Mars on my Pluto. And yes, our relationship at the beginning was so pasionate and full of beautifull proyects which we developed energetically; we had a daugther first and 11 years after a son.
But my Moon in Acuarius was not compatible with her Moon in Capri because an Acuarius Moon makes me much more volatile than my rising sign would indicate. Sometimes I astonish myself because I change my direction or my points of view or both from one moment to the other !!! Besides that my Acuarius Moon needs some freedom from time to time and I could not help it and left her alone with the children and I went back to my country (I´m panameniam and she is polish) just sending them money for the dayly expenses.
She got rid of that and one time when I came back she was with another man and she is still with him.
And you know, it´s not that I wanted to finish our marriage, I still love her. When I went back to Panamá I was not looking for another woman; I was just enjoying time with my family, neighbours, friends from school, etc.
It´s a big pitty that I did not studied astrology much earlier (like 40 years ago). I would have understood myself better and my life would have been better too.

Could it be that if your sun is the same as your descendant, that you don't really look for another person to 'balance' you out because you inherently have some of that balance taken care of?
Right, balance is less of the issue in that case but depending on what house your sun is in/aspects needing permission to be yourself may be more prominent!
